Your condo has a Southern exposure. You are steps to the beach and have both Ocean and Bay views from your balcony. Unit 208 is located in the Salty Sands II building, which has an elevator from the garage "under" the building and from the 2nd level parking lot. The building is conveniently located midtown - only 3 Blocks to Seacrets, 6 blocks to the O.C. CONVENTION CENTER and nearby shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Checkout our Welcome Guest Book for some recommended food and fun establishments within walking distance.

Relax on your over-sized balcony as you look at the beach, ocean waves and boats traveling the bay. This large two bedroom, two bath condo offers room for everyone. It features an open living area with NEW FURNITURE, full kitchen and over-sized balcony also with NEW FURNITURE. Your condo has two assigned parking spaces. One space (Level 1) is located directly beneath the building (enter from 46th street as you face it. The 2nd space is located outside the condo on the left side as you face it in front of the dumpster.

Owner supplied linens are provided for your rental unit.

KEYLESS ENTRY: Never lose your keys.

ELEVATOR: A key is required to operate the elevator. To use the elevator, turn the notched key to the right. While holding the key "right", press the up or down white button. Then remove the key. The elevator key and beach gear storage box keys can be found hanging on hooks above the refrigerator on your left as you enter the kitchen area.

FREE WIFI throughout the unit.

BEDS: 1 Queen in the Master BR, 2 single beds in the 2nd BR, and a Queen pull-out sofa. Pillows are provided.

FREE BEACH GEAR IN BALCONY STORAGE BOX: 3 Boogie Boards, 3 Beach Umbrellas, 2 Sand Mats, 2 Large Sand Shovels and 7 Beach Chairs.

This is probably our third time staying at 208. Very nice condo unit. The cleaners this year were spot on. The weather was perfect. Our iTrip connection, Roger, is always available and very helpful! Looking forward to next year.

This is a very nice condo. Pros: free wifi, close to beach, elevator in building, some view of the ocean and bay, comfortable patio furniture, love the TV in the bedroom, washer and dryer, and the building is overall very quiet. The dishware was nice and all appliances were in good working order. The condo smelled fresh upon arrival. I was thankful that the owner supplies luggage racks. This is great when one has back issues and doesn't want to constantly be bending over into a suitcase or picking up the suitcase and moving it from the bed to the floor. I was thankful that the owner supplied some toilet paper and anti bacterial hand soap in the bathrooms. It's just one less thing to pack and I'm grateful. The rooms were neat and tidy upon arrival. The cons are the cookware needs to be replaced because the nonstick was ruined by sharp utensils. I don't use nonstick anyway, but prefer cast iron and stainless steel. I haven't stayed in a condo yet though that does not have nonstick so I guess it's pretty popular with others. I made do without so it's okay. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I do wish there was a drying rack. I ended up using hangers or draping wet clothes over the patio furniture or over my beach cart to dry instead. Overall I was very pleased with this condo and the overall condominium. I think the owner is generous with their rental cost, which is the first thing we consider when renting. The midtown location is nice too. I would recommend this condo to others and plan on staying in this condo next summer as well. I've stayed in a few other condos, but never booked the same one twice. So this is a first.

The door access code did not work. Spent 20 mins trying the code in different ways, never opened. Neighbors called to police, had to show them our confirmation email. Then we proceeded to call itrip and no one would answer the phone. Got a phone call the next day asking if we were ok with our rental. Told him our issue and he sent over a new code, that code also didnt work. All around nightmare.

The guest's issues with the door codes and iTrip not answering the phone are complex. A brief explanation will hopefully suffice. A total of 12 calls or txts were delivered to the guest between 10:04 am April 27th and 12:39 pm April 29th. Checkout occurred at 10:00 am April 28th. The 1st door code was auto-generated by booking software for check-in April 26th. According to the guest, the code worked only 1x at check-in. A 2nd code was generated and electronically delivered to the guest by email and txt at 10:08 am Apr 27th. The net is, several initial phone calls from the guest were never received evidently due to “fake call blocking” by Verizon. Despite numerous attempts to communicate with the guest, we did not learn about the 2nd code failure until we read his review long after he checked-out on April 28th. We apologized for the door code hassle at the time and remain truly sorry. Footnote: The door lock is one of the highest quality locks in the world (it is used by very large hotel chains). It has functioned flawlessly until it somehow failed until the April 2019 incident. It has been accessed many hundreds of times without failure since it was installed over a year ago. Our best wishes to our guest; again we are very sorry. We sincerely hope he visits us again in the future so we can make things right.

Our recent stay at the Salty Sands was enjoyable. The accomodations were clean and pleasant. While the condo was clean, the single bed mattresses were horrible for sleeping. They sunk in the middle, not allowing for a good nights rest. There were no paper towels left in the condo, no elevator keys and no parking passes as indicated in the information packet. The owners were very accommodating to allow us entry into the condo by 10 in the morning. This was very much appreciated to have such flexibility....Thank you. We would consider staying at this condo in the future if the mattresses on the single beds were upgraded. Overall the stay was pleasant and the condo was nice. Have a great day.

Great location and great price. Plenty of space so we didnt feel on top of each other. Tad bit of sand on the furniture and floor. No elevator key and no parking passes. Would recommend to others and would book again.
