Your condo has a Southern exposure. You are steps to the beach and have both Ocean and Bay views from your balcony. Unit 208 is located in the Salty Sands II building, which has an elevator from the garage "under" the building and from the 2nd level parking lot. The building is conveniently located midtown - only 6 blocks to the O.C. CONVENTION CENTER and nearby shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Checkout our Welcome Guest Book for some recommended food and fun establishments within walking distance.
Relax on your over-sized balcony as you look at the beach, ocean waves and boats traveling the bay. This large two bedroom, two bath condo offers room for everyone. It features an open living area, full kitchen and over-sized balcony. Your condo has two designated parking spaces. One space (Level 1) is located directly behind the condo (enter from behind the right side of the building as you face it) and the 2nd space (Level G) is located below the condo in the garage parking area (enter from the left side of the building as you face it.)
OTHER ITEMS: Rental Linen Service is Available. You should also bring your own towels (unless you rent them) as well as spices, oils, paper and plastic goods, i.e. paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, garbage bags, salt, pepper and oils. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary appliances, dishes, glass and tableware as well as serving dishes, etc. The condo has a basic supply of some paper products and trash bags.

KEYLESS ENTRY: Never lose your keys.
ELEVATOR: A key is required to operate the elevator. To use the elevator, turn the notched key to the right. While holding the key "right", press the up or down white button. Then remove the key. The elevator key and beach gear storage box keys can be found hanging on hooks above the refrigerator as you enter the kitchen area.
FREE WIFI throughout the unit.
BEDS: a Queen in the Master BR, two single beds in the 2nd BR and a pull-out queen couch. Pillows are provided.
FREE BEACH GEAR IN BALCONY STORAGE BOX: 3 Boogie Boards, 3 Beach Umbrellas, 2 Sand Mats, 2 Large Sand Shovels and 7 Beach Chairs.
OTHER: Luggage Carts in Parking Garage next to the Elevator. [Please return to the garage when you are finished using them.] Washer & Dryer in Unit.

The guest's issues with the door codes and iTrip not answering the phone are complex. A brief explanation will hopefully suffice. A total of 12 calls or txts were delivered to the guest between 10:04 am April 27th and 12:39 pm April 29th. Checkout occurred at 10:00 am April 28th. The 1st door code was auto-generated by booking software for check-in April 26th. According to the guest, the code worked only 1x at check-in. A 2nd code was generated and electronically delivered to the guest by email and txt at 10:08 am Apr 27th. The net is, several initial phone calls from the guest were never received evidently due to “fake call blocking” by Verizon. Despite numerous attempts to communicate with the guest, we did not learn about the 2nd code failure until we read his review long after he checked-out on April 28th. We apologized for the door code hassle at the time and remain truly sorry. Footnote: The door lock is one of the highest quality locks in the world (it is used by very large hotel chains). It has functioned flawlessly until it somehow failed until the April 2019 incident. It has been accessed many hundreds of times without failure since it was installed over a year ago. Our best wishes to our guest; again we are very sorry. We sincerely hope he visits us again in the future so we can make things right.
Thank you for making us aware of the missing elevator key and parking passes. Both matters have been resolved. We have replaced/repaired the vacuum cleaner - sand should cease to be a problem. We look forward to your next visit. We wish you and yours safe travel.
