244 The Tides

$2,800 - $6,160 / month   in North Redington Beach
3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Sleeps 8

Walk in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe and JoeDiMaggio at the exclusive Tides Beach Club

In 1935, Charles Redington bought this Gulf of Mexico frontage and built the Tides Hotel and Bath, which quickly became a mecca for visiting celebrities. A new club was built in the 90’s and the grand lobby pays homage to the club’s illustrious history with a nostalgic display of old photos and newspaper clippings. With a private beach only accessible to resort guests, three Gulf-front swimming pools and hot tubs, private poolside cabanas, two fitness centers, a billiard room, three barbeque grill areas and high-level security, the Tides Beach Club is still a sought-after and exclusive vacation property.

This gorgeous 1,600-square-foot three-bedroom, two bath condo features a spacious master suite with a large ensuite bathroom that offers granite countertops, dual vanities, a soaking tub and a large shower. The master has direct access to the huge beachfront balcony. A full bathroom in the hallway is also accessible from the second bedroom, furnished with a queen bed and a third bedroom offers two twins. The gourmet kitchen—with granite countertops and a breakfast bar open to the living area— features stainless steel appliances and a closet with a washer/dryer unit. Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable television and flat-screen tv’s in all bedrooms as well as in the living area. The comfortable leather sofa also pulls out into a queen bed for extra guests. Best of all, the spacious patio furnished with a comfortable wicker sofa and chairs offers spectacular Gulf views! Garage parking for one vehicle is included.

The Redington Pier is a short walk away by beach or road and local restaurants like the Conch Republic and Sweet Sage are just across the street. Head a few miles north to Indian Rocks Beach for fresh local seafood at the award-winning Salt Rock Grill, all just minutes from your vacation home.

Redington Beach is just a 10-minute ride on the beach trolley to John's Pass Village, a large marina, shopping and dining complex that offers a variety of water sports rentals, casino boats and dolphin-watching or sunset cruises. Ten minutes to the north, you'll find another marina and a variety of shops and restaurants at Clearwater Beach, also home to the Clearwater Aquarium, the residence of dolphin movie star Winter from Dolphin Tale.

For a taste of city life, nearby downtown St. Petersburg, a 20-minute drive from the beach, is home to several world-class art museums, including the renowned Salvador Dali Museum, and popular attractions less than an hour's drive away include Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and the Florida Aquarium.

The process of getting into the complex & receiving pass cards, parking permits on weekends is impossible, since it's security personnel on premise maybe here or not. Never can find or never answer there phone. The building code given us for the time period did not work, had to find a resident who gave us a code so we could get in. Once in condo. turned ice maker on & water ran all over & out of the refrig. Notified Itrip. Suppose to be fixed today. Furnace would not heat, personnel called & repairs had to be done on it, wired wrong. Fire alarm battery had to be changed by me, churping.Condo needs a lot of TLC, beds need to be upgraded to at least one king bed, furniture has seen its days, not comfortable at all. Both patio screens are torn. Carpeting in bedrooms need to be cleaned or replaced. Clothes dryer is very slow drying, requires two cycles to dry a small load. Had to unclog master bathroom sink, so it would drain. Thankyou for contacting us regarding our stay, I hope this will help

We stayed in the apartment for a month. Reservation and instructions for move-in were super quick and easy. Any came up questions were resolved within a day or two. The apartment itself is very cozy, well-furnished and has every necessity. We really enjoyed a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The pool and the gym areas are very neat and useful. Great beach right outside of the complex with white sand and clear water. Overal, the place is worth its price! We are definitely coming back next time!
