Any vacation rental reservations made with guests from areas identified by the Governor as high risk, through Executive Orders (Currently EO 20-82, NY, NJ, CT, & EO 20-86 LA), must be for periods longer than the quarantine period (currently at 14 days) established in that Order. Guests occupying those vacation rentals must adhere to the quarantine restrictions or be subject to established criminal and civil penalties.
****Phase 1 of the reopening of Florida includes beach access (excluding weekend hours, during which time Collier County beaches are closed from 11:00am-5:00pm, including Friday July 3rd), hair salons & barber shops, restaurants and retail shops operating at 50% capacity, while maintaining required social distancing.

We’re quite surprised and disappointed to learn that you would not recommend staying at the Naples Continental Club. All beach/Gulf front properties are obviously older buildings. However, Naples continues to maintain a reputation as being a very well maintained area in general and this property is certainly no exception. The exterior painting was simply part of an extensive maintenance project that could not be restricted to “off season” . This particular segment of the painting work was less invasive and not anticipated to impact the immediate area associated with access to your unit. Previous guests did not find it to be an issue. The protective coverings in recently renovated lobby and elevators would be expected to prevent damage…..not sure what was so perplexing regarding that policy. We’re so very sorry that you found the master bedroom mattress uncomfortable. However, this is the first complaint of this nature. We recognize that everyone has a specific “preference” with regard to sleeping accommodations. The tubs, although older, are not offensively stained and the small area of cracked tile under the rug in the bath was limited to a very small section. The dining table on the terrace in a Gulf front property naturally sustains significant exposure to the elements. Additionally, the size of this terrace is particularly challenging. It’s very difficult to accommodate a standard 4 chair table set while still providing a comfortable conversational seating area. Most of the units in this building have smaller bistro sets with seating for only 2. This unusually compact 4 chair set is quite unique and perfect for the designated space….allowing seating for 4 guests. We certainly apologize if these minor issues were offensive. However, you were informed that this unit was in the process of new ownership and were fairly compensated for providing access for the inspection in their absence. Much like the previous owners who performed significant renovations, the new owners are equally responsible and committed to properly maintaining this unit in appropriate rental condition for future guests.
