The house was very nice, clean and organiized. The location was close to everything we needed, beach, stores and friends. Parking is limited but not unexpected for the waterfront location. We felt odd about swimming in what seems like the neighbors pool. We did not use the pool for this reason. We would go there again, maybe even swim in the pool. Thanks

This cottage is stunning! Secluded, private, quiet, beautifully decorated and landscaped. The pool is gorgeous. Views of the bay with the boats gliding in and out so peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I came here in 2012. Hadn't had a vacation opportunity until 2018, and chose to come here again. We had everything we needed..no problems or worries. Beach and restaurants are close, but with the nice grill, docks, pool, and lush landscaping, we just settle in and marvel at the beautiful surroundings and truly enjoy our vacation! Couldn't ask for anything more!

The cottage is adorable. We found it to be nicely appointed, clean, welcoming and comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the pool on the neighboring property but it was beautiful. We would have definitely used the hot-tub had it been heated (unfortunately, that isn't part of the amenities). Also, make note the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils however, there are no condiments available (not even salt/pepper), so bring what you need if you plan to cook. I would also bring or request housekeeping to leave a couple of extra bath towels. There were plenty of hand towels but only 2 full size bath towels for our use during our 3 day stay. The waterfront location is beautiful and so relaxing. Close to the beach and lots of good restaurants. We visited John's Pass and had a wonderful meal at the Friendly Fisherman.....highly recommend! Also, had a great breakfast at Doe Doe's. We would definitely return to the cottage when in the area again. Liz with I-trip was easy to work with and prompt in responding as needed.

This was my 2nd stay at Boca Ciega cottage. Just as wonderful as the 1st time. Beautiful landscaped property with wonderful views. Quiet location walking distance to the beach, stores, restaurants. Winn Dixie, CVS very close by. Publix short drive. The perfect place to just chill. The ITrip team was great to deal with as before - fast to answer, fast to action and very helpful. I will be back.

We spent 5 days at the cottage and found it to be exactly what we needed. The docks were perfect for fishing with the provided poles. We used the pool every day and loved everything about it. It is a short walk to the beach or drive your car and park in the public parking (pay lot) to avoid having to haul all of the gear necessary for spending time on the beach. The beach stuff is a bit lacking (worn out chairs, broken umbrellas and no wagon) but that did not detract from our enjoying of our time at the cottage. The sun rise over the bay is spectacular! On our last morning we watched dolphins play. I would definitely recommend this rental to any group of 4 people. Any more than that would be too crowded.

We were skeptical on booking a vacation home sight unseen;but we were pleasantly surprised!! Boca Ciega Cottage far exceeded our expectations!! We were planning on just being four of us at the cottage but at the last minute our college aged daughter decided to join us. Five grown people in a two bedroom "cottage" with one bathroom?? It went just fine. We played in the private pool, we went to the beautiful beaches, sat on the docks, walked in the neighborhood, ate out at many delicious restaurants and even cooked at the cottage. It was a very tranquil relaxing vacation!! We are already talking about renting Boca Ciega Cottage again! Highly recommend!!

We stay in a beautiful home Right on the water . It was decorated very nice and it was clean . There was a lot of natural light which made it very cheery . The outside of the property had well groomed plants and trees made it feel like a tropical island . There is a gorgeous pool that is all in surrounded by stone with a waterfall . The back of the house has a very nice patio and extends out to a dock where you can sit and enjoy a dolphin sighting and watch the water foul fish for food . Can’t wait to go back !!!

We had a great stay at Boca Ciega Cottage. There were only 2 of us so we had plenty of room and no problem sharing the 1 bathroom. Location was great! On the bay/waterway and short walk to the beach. Also close to grocery stores. The Madeira Beach area was nice and it was also a short drive up to Indian Rocks/Clearwater or down to Treasure Island. Place was well furnished and worked well for us. Couldn't use the pool as heat wasn't on when we were there in Feb but it looked very nice. Would stay here again.

Overall, we were very pleased with the rental. It was situated on a quiet, residential street with driveway parking. The house itself was updated with modern appliances and beautiful furnishings. It was clean and comfortable. The real highlight of the house was the dock out back which sat on the bay. It was very relaxing to sit out there at night with a glass of wine and watch the boats go by as the dock lights changed colors. My son also went fishing right off the back a couple of mornings. There was a pool available for use at the house next door but we didn't take advantage of it. We live in Florida and have a pool at home so it wasn't a big draw for us. Plus we felt a little uncomfortable with the set-up even though we were allowed to use it. Some of the other positives and negatives about the rental: Positive: It was walking distance to the beach which was great because we didn't have to search for parking on the 4th of July. We saw a number of fireworks shows from our back dock which also saved parking hassles for us from parking hassles. We loved that they provided nice big beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a paddle ball set for the beach. It was close to a lot of restaurants and not a bad drive to John's Pass. My son especially like the mini-donut place which we visited several times. Our other favorite restaurants were Crabby Bill's in Indian Rocks Beach and Frog's Pond in Treasure Island. Negative: It was a little dark and light switches were not easily accessible. It could use some additional lighting, especially since the furnishings are dark (very nice Tommy Bahama style). It seemed a little overcrowded with furniture. There were only 3 of us so it was fine, but any more than 4 and it would have been crowded. Yes, you could technically sleep 6, but I think that's a stretch with only one bathroom. I think it would be more comfortable without the 2nd couch so you could move around the table more easily. I think the air conditioner is on its last leg. It was very noisy and didn't cool the master bedroom very well. We called about it when we first arrived and a grumpy service guy came to look and said there was nothing he could do. Luckily, there was a ceiling fan in the room to help cool it. It would have been nice to have instructions about how to use the TV remotes. The service guy who came out had to call his boss to help us work the TV. We had a wonderful week and I would definitely recommend this place to others - just not for a big group.

Everything was perfect on this trip. We arrived to an immaculately clean house. Every nook and cranny was spotless. The home was bug free and we saw no evidence of any bugs whatsoever for our entire week long stay. Although this is a smaller cottage, it didn't feel that way to us. Both bedrooms were quite adequate and comfortable. The luscious plant growth and landscaping were amazing. The pool was fantastic. Yes it is right behind the neighbor's house, but they had all of their shades drawn and privacy was perfectly fine. I never once felt bad about using it with the family ... although we knew we had to be pretty quite so as to not bother them. I think bringing a boom box out there for some music would have been out of the question. Fishing off the dock was great and with my own lures I managed to land a couple of nice Snook, Mangrove Snapper and two nice Redfish. Others caught Pinfish and Catfish with cut bait purchased at Walmart. They had 7 fishing rods by the side of the house for guest use, though I used my own fishing equipment. When having guests over, parking will be an issue. There is room for only one car. So we had guests park behind the 7-11 up the street, and we ferried them back and forth with our own car. Everything was perfect and we managed to see dolphins every night feeding. The seawall and docks were great to fish from. Keep the little ones far away from the seawall because a fall could be disastrous with all the barnacles and whatnot. Overall I give this location a 9 out of 10. If I could have one request, it would be for the property to have more items like paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. The starter supplies are ok, but for the price of this house these items should not have to be purchased by guests. What a great trip and I can't wait to rent this house again in the future. One other thing - the water pressure in the bathroom sink is way too low. That should be fixed as well. Minor issues for an otherwise 100% perfect experience.

We love our stay at the Boca Ciega Cottage! What a wonderful, peaceful and quiet place. You get your own patio, dock and use of the pool. The house was very clean, well stocked and nicely done. My husband fished everyday! We sat on the patio, on the dock and could have sat there forever! The kitchen is on the higher end and I enjoyed cooking a few meals. Two little issues, the grill was out of gas, though Brandon from iTrip was there in 10 min!! However, we had to toss out our dinner, because the grill burners were not working properly. It does need attention and checked on from time to time. There are two bikes for your use, which I LOVED! However, the men's bike was frozen in low gear, which is very hard to ride. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!! The only other larger issue, is that the pool is NOT heated, which we knew before hand. But it was too cold to use. The spa is NOT heated either, so we couldn't enjoy that perk. The pool doesn't get much sun, so unless it's summer it would be hard to use. But it would not stop us from coming back!!! Two really good restaurants within walking distance, Dockside Dave's and Mario's!! Both excellent! Mario's is Italian, which I am half Italian and it was a fantastic meal! And Tiramisu is amazing!! The Cottage is a wonderful home, away from home!!

What a fantastic property in a wonderful location. We would describe the area as beach bum nouveau chic......relaxing, easy to get around, with a paradise-like pool setting and a one block walk to the beach, and stores and restaurants nearby. Had a chance meeting with the owner.....a Prince of a fellow......who couldn't do enough to help make out stay fantastic. The iTrip people were excellent too.....had an issue with a TV remote to which they responded quickly and we were back in business watching the Olympics again in no time. Home is clean, welcome and Cosey, with all the required accoutrements. A pool is out back.....almost spa like.......which made having breakfast and laying around her back that much more enjoyable. Suggestions: a kayak for use by residents would be ideal. Also, water pressure in the ONE bathroom needs to be addressed.....shower is fine but sink flow is painfully weak. Also....mattresses are soft, likely need to be changed, but other than that....not a bad thing to say about this wonderful home! We would return for sure.

My family and I have stayed here 4 times in the last 3 years and I can honestly say that it is our favorite place to stay in Florida. My husband's family is in the St. Pete area and we go to visit 1-2 times a year. We started staying here over Thanksgiving week a few years ago and haven't rented another house since. We were just down for a week in July and even though it was one of the hottest on record, the amazing pool and the docks on the bay provided a much needed break from the heat and the views are awesome. There are only 3 of us, so the 2 bedroom 1 bath suits us perfectly; however, there is nothing cramped about this beautiful place. Both my son and I love to cook and we are able to make great dinners for family and enjoy the beautiful settings both inside and outside. My only reservation in writing this review is that I am afraid that this place will not be available for us to rent when more people learn about it because it is honestly that fantastic. I can't stress enough how great this house is and the management company that runs it. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at this beautifully appointed cottage. The gorgeous pool with a view to the Bay really made the week. We spotted dolphins a couple of times. We spent a lot of time as a family relaxing in and by the pool. The Gulf was too warm (90) to refresh you, so we kept our visits to the beach for mostly the sunsets. The beach is a 10 minute walk across a busy highway. Cross at the lights. Some of the activities we enjoyed were, fishing off the docks at the back of the house and charter fishing, a dolphin cruise, jet skiing, Johns Pass, the Dali museum (outstanding) and St. Petersburg for a special dinner. Great family vacation! Loved this cottage!!
