The condo was nice. There are a few improvements that should be corrected such as the lighting in the 2nd bedroom its too dim. And it Would have been nice to have a better quality broom and dust pan to help with the sand on the floor. My biggest complaint is that Sandy Shores needs to clean the pool more often, it went at least 2 -3 days without being cleaned and I had to call the management company to ask them to clean it because it was very dirty. The elevator is too slow. Otherwise we had a great stay and we were satisfied.

The location was great. The beach was wonderful and the pool was excellent. The condo was in good shape and clean. All necessary kitchen items were there, but very disorganized. The necessary throw away items (garbage sacks, toilet paper, soaps etc) could def be more plentiful. The bedding needs upgraded. Very worn and stained comforters in guest bedroom. All of this was truly not that big a deal and the place is worthy of a 4 star review....The problem lies with the other residents that are full time at Sandy Shores. Talk about making people feel unwelcome. Extremely rude and make those renting for vacation feel as though they are being watched constantly, especially down by the pool area and beach. We pay good money to rent for a week, I do not expect to be hawked on the whole time we are there as if we dont belong. If the people living there dont like tourists THEY ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE. High traffic vacation spot across from Johs pass...you should expect people coming and going frequently. I just didnt care for my family being stared at and harassed for lack of a better word, like I was tiptoeing around the people living there. Im putting this out there to forewarn those planning on renting here for vacation. For that reason we wont be back. Its a shame, nice place otherwise. I would however rent with ITrip again so thank you ITrip.

The people where super helpful and gave great recommendations of where to get groceries, how to travel, etc. The only thing I would recommend is the owner to go in and update the faucets and mirrors in the bathrooms.

When we arrived we could not open our apt door. You gave me the wrong combination. The call to you was a recording. Finally we had a person who cleans and he called someone who ceme and gave us a new. Standing outside for an hour after driving 12 hours for a 80 year old woman was a nightmare.

Had a great stay. Had trouble opening my email so made one quick phone call to get in. Traveled with 3 teenagers who were trying to keep up with a school for a couple hours so the Wifi was fantastic. There was plenty of room and beds for all of us. Very clean, had plenty of towels and beach chairs. There are sand toys for littles that we did not use but loved the football and a few other things for teens. Location was great, easy access to beach and pool and shopping and dining right across the street. Would totally consider staying here again if I was in this area.

The location is excellent. It is right on the beach and across the street from John's Pass. We didn't have to drive anywhere but the grocery store, which was great. The unit had a lot of little things that made me rate it lower. Noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom with insulation falling out of it, toilet seats coming loose, light bulbs out, remote controls that don't work - nothing big, but little details. Not being able to even open the patio doors to go out onto the balcony due to the construction was disappointing. There is 1 elevator in the building and it is extremely slow, so there is always a wait to get on it. We loved the area, and will be back, but I don't think we will stay here again.

The unit itself was wonderful. We were fully aware that the building was undergoing construction at the time of our stay but it didn't bother us in the least. The pool was still open and the elevator worked. The work was done by 4:30 every day so it didn't really matter that there was construction during the day. I would like to book this place for my next stay!

This is my second stay in a condo managed by Liz and Charles and both trips were great experiences for my family. All aspects from reservations to communication to check-in and check-out were smoothly handled. The condo itself was nice and as-described. A minor hiccup with parking due to some construction on the property was handled quickly and politely. Couldn't ask for more.

Great location along the beach and walking distance to John's Pass boardwalk. Many attractions, shops and restaurants nearby. The overall condition of the condo was just okay, not good or great. The condo itself had a few issues that lowered our rating.- Several light fixtures and switches were not working throughout the condo.- Beds were fairly uncomfortable and had us struggling to sleep each night.- Noise from the outside hallway was clearly audible throughout the unit, which was problematic with loud neighbors at all hours of the night.- The single elevator was basically unusable due to number of guests in the complex as well as cleaning staff and guests holding the elevator for extended periods. Stairwell was inconvenient as it requires a single key for ground floor access and the lock was in poor condition.- Keys for pool, beach access and stairway were provided, but locks for each were difficult to operate or nonfunctional - probably due to wear and tear plus exposure to the elements. Either way this is a simple maintenance issue that isn't being addressed.- Parking was a challenge, partly due to construction, partly due to tight spaces, partly due to apparent overbooking of other units in the complex. It would be helpful if the owner/manager were to provide some guidance on locating the unit's assigned parking space. Our goal for this trip was to be out and about experiencing all that the area has to offer, so the condo situation wasn't our greatest concern, just a place to rest in between activities.. However, it could have been better maintained for the rate we paid.

The condo was great! Perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space and it was super clean. It was so convenient being right across the street from St. John’s pass. Once we got our groceries the first day there was no need to have to leave again if we didn’t want to. The pool and beach was perfect. There was some noise from the construction but we were aware of that before coming. Since we spent most of our day at the beach or pool it didn’t matter anyways.

Unfortunately, our week long stay in Florida was cold. We didn’t have the weather we hoped for. With that being said, we wish we could of used the condo more, but there was loud construction work going on. This made it difficult to stay in and the weather made it difficult to stay out. The pool is heated and that was nice on two days, but they must of filled it up or turned off the heater because the rest of the time the pool was chilly. It’s a beautiful place and we loved that it was located on John’s pass. There was so much to do just a few blocks away.

We held my parent's 50th Anniversary celebration in St. Pete and Madeira Beach. The condo was perfect for our family! Instead of site seeing, we decided to spend our entire last day there at Sandy Shores, enjoying the pool, the beach, the BBQ and each other! It was so nice having plastic bowls and trays, and a cooler provided to accommodate our impromptu party of chip and dip and drinks at the pool! We ended the day with 10 of us watching old family movies on the TV in the large family room. It was so comfortable and spacious! I look forward to our next trip!

211 Sandy Shores was a great spot for our family spring break vacation. It's right across from John's Pass, and a quick walk over the bridge to Treasure Island and other attractions. We didn't have a car, and we barely missed it! The pictures of the condo are accurate. It's very up to date and was very clean and well maintained. We did have one problem with our door lock not working, but someone came out right away after we called the help line and was very friendly and helpful when following up. All of the appliances and TVs worked great Having TVs in the living room as well as each bedroom were really convenient. The kitchen does have plates, silverware, and cooking utensils as well as a couple of rolls of paper towels. We did go out and grab some paper plates, napkins, and salt & pepper, things we didn't think of but might be helpful for future vacationers. We are already counting down the days until our next stay!

The condo was fine. The location was great. We experienced a horrible problem that we didn't discover until the last day. We thought it strange that the closing instructions didn't require us to remove the bed linens. We did anyway and discovered our sheets were dirty and not from us. It appears they were not fresh for our stay. It makes me ill to think we slept on soiled sheets. Disgusting.

We are glad that the condo worked for you. The linens are removed from the unit after each and every Guest, and are sent out to a service that cleans and sterilizes them, each time. Our inspection team then goes into each unit prior to Guest arrival to be certain that the beds are made correctly, and that the cleaning is completed to our high standards. We can assure our Guests, with 100% certainty, that the linens are clean and prepared for them on arrival. If there are ever any issues, maintenance or cleaning, we encourage our Guests to call our 24hr line so that we can take care of it immediately.
