Welcome to the Laurel Canyon Cottage!
Charming 1922 cottage in the heart of historic Laurel Canyon is full of character with original features and updated accommodation. This private 1200 sq ft home has a beautiful bespoke new kitchen, bathroom with original clawfoot tub, large living room with gothic windows onto the garden and a full size upright piano for you to enjoy.
Surrounded by trees, the cottage is a perfect escape from the city yet ideally located to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Studio City and more. The iconic Sunset Strip is a 10 minute walk / 5 minute drive from the cottage. A short stroll from the cottage is Laurel Canyon's famous Country Store immortalized by Jim Morrison in The Doors' song, ”Love Street” as the "store where the creatures meet". Santa Monica is 30-40 minutes and Malibu an hour. There are plenty of hikes locally and lovely neighborhood walks.
Large garden at the front with dining table and separate bench on the patio area. At the rear of the property is a large deck with another dining table, and separate round cafe table. Sip your first cup of tea or coffee amongst the bougainvillea and watch the hummingbirds in the spacious garden. At the end of the day, relax and unwind with a glass of wine under the twinkling fairy lights.

Guests will appreciate our rare details such as steeple shaped doorways and windows throughout the house. The entire 2 bedroom 1.5 bath, 1920s home is privately yours during the length of your stay.
We require a valid photo ID of guests immediately upon booking, Guests must provide names and ages of all guests.
Note: No Air Conditioner. The house stays relatively cool but there are cooling fans if/when needed.

Master Suite - Queen Bed with separate closet and half bath. Plus writing desk and comfy armchair with a view of the garden.
Guest Bedroom - Queen bed with small desk, walk-in closet and dresser.
Main bathroom with shower and unique clawfoot tub
Living Room with comfy velvet sofa, two armchairs, large coffee table, decorative fireplace and 32" TV with Apple TV/Netflix. For you musical folks, please take advantage of the recently tuned upright piano.
Sunny Dining Room with dining table for four seats and daybed to lounge with a good book.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker and filtered water, gas stove and electric oven. We also provide the following appliances: toaster, hot tea kettle and a French press. We also provide complimentary coffee and tea.
Washer Only. We provide a drying rack to dry clothes.
It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA # HSR21-001273. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.
* Minimum age policy is 25 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.
* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.
MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact headcounts of your guests at all times.
A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip Vacations Hollywood in writing prior to the arrival date.
Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.
CITY OF LA NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.
Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. The property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that you and our whole community can enjoy a restful night's sleep. We are dedicated to protecting our guests and neighbors from bothersome levels of noise. In an effort to do so, this property is equipped with NoiseAware technology. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property.
NO SMOKING INDOOR OR OUTDOOR THE PROPERTY. The Laurel Canyon neighborhood is designated an Extreme Fire Zone.
NO PETS (will consider well trained and behaved dogs under 10 lbs along with our Pet Fee)
