Swedish Cottage on Fall River
5/5 stars
We really enjoyed staying at the Swedish cottage! The place itself was a very cozy and relaxing location to stay. Lottie and Bryan thought through so many details that really made this listing special. They have a book full of places to eat, stores to shop at and things to do around the area. They had bathroom items that were a plus (toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and little kits that had cotton swabs and cotton facial rounds) and that was not expected. They really went above and beyond with everything. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils as well as spices, oil, & sauces. The lights and bluetooth speaker were a nice touch as well as the snowshoes and slippers they provided. If you’re looking for a place thats cozy, well located and the hosts pay attention to detail, this is your place!!

We had an amazing time at the Swedish Cottage. The attention to detail made the trip magical. I have loved my best friend for over 10 years and finally had the courage to tell her. Turned out she felt the same way! We spent two lovely nights at the cottage. The space was warm, comforting, relaxing, and welcoming. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was the icing on top.We would go back in a heartbeat.

This was a great location to get away and unplug out in the middle of nature. There is a beautiful stream right in the backyard which you can sit next to in lawn chairs or hang out in the private hot tub (clothing optional according to the sign! lol). The cabin sits above a garage with a deck full of chairs, couches, a grill, and a heater (for those cold nights). Inside there is a kitchen, bathroom, and bed. All the amenties were provided as well. Downtown is a great spot which is near by for food, shopping, and tourism.

These folks have thought through every detail to make sure your stay is complete and isn’t missing anything. Our cottage had plenty to do to stay busy, entertained and comfortable. Idaho Springs cottage was a great getaway from our busy lives and also an easy 1.5 hour drive to the RMNP where we spent most of our time. The hot tub was a joy even in the snow and cold :) Everything was super clean!
