CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

- Swing stages have been installed on the rear of the building to access areas of balcony spalling on stacks 04, 05, 09. Please note there may be construction-related noise during this time. The pool will remain closed until April 16th. Dates subject to change.

San Carlos 402 is a beautifully appointed two-bedroom, two-bath condominium offering an amazing Gulf-front view from the 4th floor.

• Enjoy direct balcony access from both the living room and the primary bedroom.

• Vinyl plank flooring is featured throughout the unit.

• The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. The dining table seats six, with an additional four barstools at the kitchen counter.

• A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the unit.

• The living area has a sofa sleeper.

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed.

• The second bedroom features two full-size beds.

• For added convenience, the owner has supplied a folding baby crib.

• Skip the long lines - this unit offers keyless entry for seamless check-in and check-out.

• A maximum of two vehicles is permitted. Parking passes must be purchased onsite at the front desk upon arrival on the 3rd floor. Passes are $50 each, plus tax.

• Per the San Carlos HOA: The primary guest listed on the reservation must be at least 25 years of age and remain onsite for the entire stay. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction, as mandated by the San Carlos Board of Directors.

This property is designated as a ‘No Smoking’ property, including all unit balconies. A designated smoking area is available near the BBQ area.

We’re a family of five, with kids ages 15-7, and not once were my kids disappointed with our stay. The moment you walk in, you see the Gulf; it is absolutely breathtaking. The pictures did not do the condo any justice! The communication from the moment we made the reservation exceeded my expectations, including the check-in process. Everything was explained and simplified, arriving after a 10-hour drive, the easiest thing we did that day. We enjoyed everything about our stay that we intend to stay at this same location again when we visit Gulf Shores!

Our trip was set up around the young kids. We had an 8, 7 and a 2 and half year old. They loved every minute it of it. The condo was nice and very clean. We knew that it was going to get crowded with it being school's out and a holiday weekend but it was not bad. Great overall experience.

Very good. The only small thing was the pillows on the beds were old and not comfortable, but we bought some at Tanger Outlet. It was otherwise a very enjoyable visit in a great central location on the beach, good views and the buildingwas well maintained.

We loved our stay at San Carlos. Everything was perfect and the management company was very attentive and fast to communicate. Our room was ready early so they let us check in. They gave us a great rate to stay an extra night. We will definitely be repeat customers.

We arrived at 9pm after working all day and driving. First thing we wanted to do was take a shower and get in the bed. Shower, tub, sink and drawers in bathroom were covered in black hair. After cleaning bathroom we were going to bed at which time we discovered no mattress cover. Meaning there was a sheet and then mattress. If you are accustom to a mattress cover between sheet and mattress you will need to supply your own. I used extra blankets proved by the condo to place between sheet and mattress. View was beautiful, kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, etc. On our day of check out, the code was deleted and we could not get in the room. It took an hour to find someone (because no one was at the guest services desk). His master key did not work and he had to call someone for a master code. This put us on the road back home an hour later. I have stayed in other condos at San Carlos and the rooms were clean and had sufficient bedding. This particular room was not the same standards as the others.

We had a wonderful time at our beautiful condo celebrating my daughter, Layla's, 17th birthday! The condo was perfect, cozy and comfortable! The condo is located in such a great location and close to the Hangout (which was so much fun) and other local eateries and shopping. There is a market within walking distance as well! I would definitely stay there again! We had our groceries delivered while we were there...which was super convenient! I booked a wonderful photographer while there for my daughter a surprise birthday photo shoot. I highly recommend Mackinsey with Salty Sea Photography! She was so much fun, and my daughter loved her! I also had her a beautiful cake made with Costal Cakes and Confections! We made so many wonderful memories, and my daughter had the best birthday full of surprises!!

I never leave reviews, but this place was so nice I felt obligated. First of all the management of this condo hands down the best in the business. They went above and beyond in hospitality, I have no words for what they did for our daughters birthday. No check in was a plus, walked in the condo filled with balloons and cupcakes, it was so beautiful. The condo is massive, huge bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room. Everything updated. The patio balcony was enormous with so much room with two lounge chairs, high top table with top of the line outdoor furniture. The view was amazing and the best part you’re an elevator down and right on the beach. It’s Also right where everything is at, hangout just a walk away. Highly recommend this place, can’t wait to go back. Thank you for giving us an amazing vacation.

Everything was wonderful. The condo was clean and had the basics that we needed. The view of the beach was amazing! It was so easy to get to the pool and the beach - even with 2 toddlers! The whole condo complex was very nice and clean. Very close to lots of restaurants too. It was a great trip and a great place to stay!

The condo was decorated beautifully and stocked with just about anything you would need. The A/C was not working when we first arrived, but after making a phone call to Lea, it was fixed promptly. The only thing I could complain about is the Master bedroom mattress desperately needs to be replaced. We even left a couple of items, and Lea to the rescue again! Those items are being returned to us. Thanks for making this much needed vacation very enjoyable!

The condo was one of the best we have ever booked as far as furniture, decor, and layout. However, we began to notice that there was dust everywhere, we found Cheetos behind the curtains in the living room, and no broom to sweep with, only a vacuum. Overall, it was a nice stay. Very enjoyable get away at unit 402. Very roomy. Great Balcony view with andrack table and chairs. Only one recommendation: Bedroom by door entrance needs a small set of drawers to unpack clothes into. Maybe a drawer stand to fit inside sliding door closet. Another suggestion: cooking pans could be replaced with non- stick pans. Great condo - facility access to first floor bathrooms is a very nice feature.

The room and accommodations were great, however there were several staff and maids who were not adhering to the State mask order. They were not alone. 95% of all the occupants of the building didn’t wear masks on the elevators. They even tore down the signs (which were not replaced). I can’t recommend San Carlos to anyone during the Covid crisis.

We spent Christmas and New Years here (my husband & 3 kids) and we all enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well furnished & everything was in working order. My husband and I found the bed to be very comfortable (unusual as after a week in most rentals our backs are killing us). We cooked Christmas dinner at the condo and had my parents over for dinner, the condo handled all 7 of us without a problem.

We were satisfied overall with the trip. Two things did concern me. We got a note on the door because there was some kind of plastic bag left outside the door in the walkway. This bag was left by the cleaning cleaning crew, we did not place it there. We saw it but assumed they would come back and get it. The dead bolt on the door did not work. The inside knob rotated but the bolt did not engage. This concerned us because we had young children in the condo who were subject to get up and wander during the night I called the office and was told that all the doors were like this because of the type of lock on the door. This did not make sense to me but that’s what I was told. Our daughter was in another condo on a different floor and had the same type of locks and her dead bolt worked fine. We placed a chair in front of the door to insure the kids couldn’t open the door during the night. These were inconveniences but did not significantly impact our trip.

This was our third year staying at this complex. This was our second year staying in this unit & we LOVE it! The beds are so comfortable...even more comfortable than our beds at home. The location is awesome....within walking distance to the souvenir stores & many great restaurants (Pink Pony Pub, Bahama Bob's, Hang Out, Gulf Island Grill....just to name a few). The beach is so clean. Can't wait to come back next year. Hoping this unit is available again!

We enjoying our stay very much, the condo was very spacious and comfortable. We were very pleased with the very spacious bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped. If we were to report anything, there were two small issues. One was a few cracked tiles and the carpet could use a cleaning.

Booked a condominium on the beach with iTrip for early September in Gulf Shores Alabama. Booking on the website was easy and I mediately received confirmation emails and information for check-in and checkout. I downloaded the app and found it to be very useful especially after I checked in. We absolutely loved the location, proximity to the pool and beach, the accommodations, and decor. There was 6 adults (sisters, moms, daughters, aunts) that stayed together and had more than enough room!! We walked to the Hangout, Sea N Suds, and even for ice cream to Scoops one night. We (husband, myself and 18 year old twins) stayed in San Carlos room 402 from March 25-April 1, 2017. The condo was pretty clean with modern furniture and a beautiful balcony over looking the ocean and you could see for miles in each direction. We were spoiled by keeping the door open from the master bedroom and listening to the ocean to lull us to sleep. The beds, linens and towels were clean and comfortable and both bathrooms were clean. We never used the whirlpool tub in the condo. The kitchen had more than enough dishes, cooking utensils and pans for a vacation. The kitchen counter-top had several burn marks and appeared to be dirty at first glance but it was clean at closer inspection. The location was excellent and was within walking distance of many bars and restaurants including The Hangout, The Pink Pony, Sea & Suds, Wafflehouse, and many others. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because there were small footprints on the balcony sliding glass doors at eye level behind one of the chairs, the mirrors were filthy, there was no bathroom for guests unless they walk through your bedrooms and we found a box of expired donuts from February in the kitchen cabinets. Overall, we loved our vacation and would return.

The condo was absolute wonderful, very clean and comfortable. The Gulf view from the living room and Master bedroom where breath taking, slept with the patio door open one night in the master to listen to the waves. My only disappointment would be when the cleaning lady inspector showed to bring a broom, bucket (that the condo already had an bucket) 4 new steak knives, and 4 saucer plates that she left in the sink for me to wash because the price sticker was on the bottom of them, she was there for about an 45 minutes. I would think that these items could have been placed in the condo after we had checked out, these items would have not make or break our stay at the time.

Just about everything in this unit -- furniture, cabinetry, flatware, appliances, televisions -- seemed to be brand new. It was all clean and fresh, and the condo was more spacious than we expected. The living room, in particular, is much larger than it appears in the pictures, and the balcony is also huge. We used the pool and beach daily, and we got great service with the beach chairs and umbrella (which you rent through a separate vendor, either on the spot or online). We had one meal at the nearby Sea-N-Suds, which is located right on the beach. We simply walked up to it in our swimsuits and got a table, and the food was great. Check-in was a breeze; we got an email with a code number, then went straight to the unit and punched the code into a keypad. The garbage chute is a few steps from the door, so taking out the trash is quick and easy. Beds (including sofa sleeper) were comfortable and also seemed brand-new, and there were plenty of white cotton blankets.
