If you need just the right "altitude" to adjust your "attitude", this will be just right. The fifth floor is high enough to assure peaceful enjoyment of a beautiful, unobstructed view, but not so high that you lose the soothing sound of the waves and the beach vacation feeling. Horizon East is a solid concrete structure, you won't be disturbed by noisy neighbors or anyone walking upstairs. Every day will begin and end with a limitless view of blue sky, golden sand and the delightful year 'round breeze from the large, new, sliding glass doors. The soft sand of Garden City beach is just a few steps out from the lobby.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, full bath, two large closets, and a sliding door to the balcony with the great view and the pleasant breeze. The second bedroom has twin beds and enjoys a nice view of the colorful rooftops of Garden City. A well equipped full kitchen, comfortably furnished dining and living areas provide plenty of space to sit back and enjoy the relaxing sound of the ocean.

The two new elevators from the lobby provides excellent handicapped access, minimal waiting. All bedrooms have TV sets, closets and dressers to provide ample storage space. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots and pans. Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand. There are two barbecue grills for guests to use. There is one parking space per unit at Horizon East. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper!

Garden City is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions and over 100 golf courses. The Garden City Beach pier, restaurants and shops are .7 of a mile south from Horizon East. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a bit further north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south.

PLEASE NOTE: We manage eight beautiful oceanfront units at Horizon East, five two bedroom condos, and three 3 bedroom end units, perfect for family reunion vacations.

This is the place to create family memories with a perfect ocean view, comfort and peaceful privacy.

The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be preset for the entire rental.

Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. This property allows ONE parking tag per unit. No additional parking tags are available. There is limited parking on the grass in front of the parking lot of this building

The unit description is not what it is today. It was quite dusty everywhere with crumbs under the table. It isn’t well cleaned in between guests. It’s aged quite a bit since the phots were taken and the furnishings are quite worn and rickety. We didn’t even use the blue chair in the photos because the arms are super loose and we were afraid it would fall apart. The dining table seats are quite stained and those chairs are rickety as well. You should be able to afford nicer chairs on your balcony than the $5 plastic Walmart ones. We were very disappointed at the noise from above and beside us. It may be a solid cement building, but you hear every pitter patter of the small feet above, including the call said child was bouncing ....incessantly! We could hear the neighbors talking while sitting at the dining table. (If their description didn’t specify you could NOT hear neighbors I wouldn’t mention it). There are multiple remote controls with no instructions and no way to get the DVD player to work. We had to request a toilet repaired that was NOT bolted down at all. It was fixed same day. The wiring is questionable, living room lights sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. Don’t plug anything in near the bar seats and they’ll work. Bring a fan to circulate the air if you’re used to ceiling fans. That being said, the building itself is WELL kept, the deck downstairs is beautiful, the view is amazing upstairs and down! The 24 hour security is legit and kept a watchful eye on everything including the parking lot. The kitchen is well stocked (no crock pot or large bowls FYI) great washer/dryer combo and stove and microwave appear newer. Sadly we would not return due to the overall run down nature of the unit.

I have been staying in Garden City, SC for 30years and have finally found the perfect condo. Horizon 502 was exactly as advertised, it was spacious, clean and gave us beautiful views of the ocean. Everything was provided for a perfect vacation. Thank you for a wonderful week.

One chair and two barstools were so dirty we didn't sit in them. Paint on one barstool. Surface of the old microwave inside was worn off and dirty, so bad we were afraid to use it. Paint was peeling off the wall in the east bathroom. Turn the water on for the shower and water runs out from behind the knobs. Building was very clean. Ac worked great. View was great. Great location. Will not stay again unless these problems were addressed !! Coming back in the fall, but not here!

Great view,great location, very dated. Furniture very dirty! Was afraid to sit in one chair it was so bad! Water drips from faucet handles, old, old, old!! Air conditioning worked well! Advertised as not being able to hear noisy neighbors , not true. U can hear them!! Great building, very clean!! Would stay again if the furniture wasn't so dirty!!!

This is a great place to stay. It is close to everything but far enough away to still enjoy the slow pace. Easy walk to 2 different piers, convenient for running to the store when needed. Will definitely be back.
