This home offers a large King size master bedroom with a private deck and a full bathroom on the second floor. There is a Queen bedroom, with two Queen beds, a private full bathroom, and access to the front porch. Also on the first level there is a Full bedroom with two Full beds, private full bath, and access to the front porch through sliding doors.

The large screened in back porch is perfect for morning coffee and after dinner drinks while you marvel at all the natural beauty and wildlife of Fripp Island. The living area has plenty of room for you and your family to enjoy a late night movie, or tune into your favorite Golf tournament. The kitchen comes equipped with all you'll need during your stay in addition to a breakfast nook with bay windows to check out the deer as they pass by!

Fripp Island is a beautiful, relaxing place and offers world class resort amenities including two 18 hole golf courses with the spectacular ocean and marsh views, multiple swimming pools and world class tennis facilities. We had a great week staying in Lloyd's Lodge. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was very quiet and peaceful location. The beaches were great! The home could use updated appliances and dishes (pots/baking sheets, cooking utensils) but we made do with what is there. We opted to get the resort guest passes, without those you cannot access the pools, fitness center or other amenities.

We rented this home for a Spring Break vacation. Although it was very dated, it was very spacious. The kitchen could use many utensil and pots and pans upgrades, as we cooked in most nights. Many light bulbs were burned out, making at least one room dark, with no overhead light. The screened porch was very roomy and would have been a great addition, but was unclean. The home appeared to not have been cleaned well prior to our arrival. For example, the bathtub had mildew, the upstairs bathroom floor appeared to not have been mopped, and the freezer had something nasty frozen in the bottom of it. I typically don’t write reviews, but for the cost of this rental, many items need to be addressed, not to mention that amenity cards and a golf cart are not included, as have been the case in other rentals that we have had at Fripp. The house was pet- friendly, so we took our dogs, but there was nowhere to specify that on the rental agreement. I received a text and an additional $25 per night charge following our departure.

We had such a beautiful week staying at “ Lloyds Lodge” My daughter got married this week and our family enjoyed the accommodations at Lloyd’s Lodge. It was clean and a great layout for a large family. We will be returning !!

The house was very spacious and was nicely decorated. The front of the house sits alongside a golf course so you are able to see golfers and find errant golf balls in the yard. The big screened-in porch is very nice. You can sit in the rockers and view deer wandering in the yard. A golf cart was available to drive around to see the island. Everyone you meet is very friendly. Nice secluded beaches too. Being that the home is on a private island, there were some stores and shops that required a membership pass so it was not very friendly to renters. The closest stores were 30 minutes away which is not that bad as it gives you a chance to see other areas in Beaufort. This is a perfect place for golfers and those who like the isolation from large crowds.

I have nothing but good things to say about ITrip and Barry and Pam Fitzgerald, who were very attentive, responsive, and helpful. They responded quickly to calls; made sure everything was in order; stocked our supply of towels and cleaning supplies; and even touched base with us about precautions when a tropical storm rolled by. They were gracious to hear about small problems with the property and took steps to remedy them and others. They're a great team and we were glad to work with them.
