Frequently Asked Questions

Important note to Airbnb travel guests about the cleaning/housekeeping fee:

This is a combination of the actual cleaning/housekeeping fee, modest booking fee, and state & local taxes, and not the cleaning fee exclusively.

Our cleaning/housekeeping fees vary based on size of property, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, pool patio homes, garages, etc. They typically range between $125-$325 based on the aforementioned.

The booking fee is $89.

Airbnb does not currently allow hosts to itemize these fees on their site which is why we'd like to explain what otherwise appears to be an excessive cleaning fee expense.

Great house, even better location
5/5 stars
Love this house. This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Both stays were great. Easy walk to the town center and pools. We did not have any problems , but I’m sure if something came up we would have been taken care of. Love Pelican Preserve. There are a lot of great people who live here.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this property. Despite a few hiccups (which were quickly resolved), our time here was great.

Satisfied customers
5/5 stars
Beautifull confortable home. Needs more pod and pans and dishes. This would save the dish washer a lot. We had to purchase some. Garage needs cleaning and garage door needs oiling before it breaks. L’émailla floor need pressure washing and sofas needs cleaning. Landscaping is dyimg We were very happy in this house and would highly recommend it to anyone.
- Tony

Hi Tony - we're glad you all enjoyed this beautiful home! The owner just recently added more pots & pans to the collection and there's a full set available. Regarding the dishes available, we will have housekeeping check on the supply. I believe there is setting for 10 which should be ample for a 2 bedroom home. The exterior patio/lanai space is pressure washed a couple of times a year and the landscaping is maintained by the community management company. October typically marks the beginning of our dry, colder season and our tropical foliage tends to brown/dry up just like any other area experiences changes throughout seasons. We appreciate the recommendation & 5 star review!

Change of seanery
5/5 stars
This was the second year we rented this property. We found it as great as we did last year despite the pandemic. Since we cooked at home more this stay it would have been nice to have a more substantial cookware selection and a gas outdoor grill.
- Janet

Hi Janet, it was great to have you back as a returning guest this year! We're glad that you were as pleased with the home and community as you were the last time you were here and we appreciate your 5 star review. The owners frequently use the home during the off season and have chosen a charcoal grill as it's their preference for grilling. The cookware was upgraded at the end of last season. We do know some travelers that like to cook with very specific pieces and choose to travel with them, but we think for a vacation home the kitchen is quite well stocked. It was a pleasure to host you again and welcome you back at any time!

Vacation Luxury
5/5 stars
We had the best vacation stay in this Pelican Preserve house. When we walked in we immediately fell in love with the house. Open, spacious, beautifully decorated. Fully outfitted kitchen with everything you need to make your stay memorable. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay. Pelican Preserve is a fantastic community to spend your time at. So many amenities and activities. Best of all the nicest people we have met in all of our travels. Flip Flops pool bar has great food, drinks, and people. The same can be said about Destinations restaurant that is on site. Already planning our next trip to stay at this gorgeous home.
- William Miller

Fee Fo Review
4/5 stars
We rented this Pelican Preserve property for the month of March 2019. The house was very nice, clean, great master bed/bath,with up to date furnishings. We did enjoy the house and especially liked how close we were to pool and fitness facilities. Pelican Preserve is a great 55+ community. The house had two bikes we could use and a large lanai with outdoor seating, table and charcoal grill. Some suggestions for the kitchen would be a better toaster and a broiling pan.We had a great time- thank you!
- Joan

Hi Joan - thank you for your review. We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at this gorgeous home! The owners worked hard to provide a comfortable and well-equipped home for guests during the months they are not staying their themselves. The owners have replaced the toaster and added additional cookware. We appreciate your feedback!

Most enjoyable stay!
5/5 stars
We stayed four weeks starting mid March in this spacious and nicely furnished home that was spotless when we arrived. The privacy and location is one of the best in the community, just a block away from the town square, pool, pickleball and the amphitheatre. We really enjoyed the charcoal bbq on the lanai for a nice change and the high quality bikes to ride the boardwalks and streets. Our adult children joined us for a week and also enjoyed all of the amenities, although the sofa bed where our son slept was not as comfortable and probably more suitable for young children only. The home was very well equipped and our only suggestion is to add High def TV service and a larger frying pan!
- Jacqui

My stay at 10623 Vicenza Ct.
5/5 stars
My stay at 10623 Vicenza Ct was wonderful. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate! The grounds were beautiful well. I was amazed at all the activties Pelican Preserve had planned for their people. I would stay there again because of what it had to offer. I do have two complaints and I shared the first one with Brett. There were no shades available on the patio door. Because the Preserve was on the back side of the house, most likely no one would be looking in but being by myself, it still made me uncomfortable that someone could. My other complaint is about one of the gate persons. It was a lady maybe in her 40s or 50s, short hair and glasses. She was rude when I came through the gate multiple times, not only to me but my guests. I ended up getting a sticker for my car so I wouldn't have to deal with her.
