THE SPACE

Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in both the living room and bedroom open directly onto the extended balcony, bringing the beauty of Estero Bay into every corner of the condo. Natural light, water views, and the sounds of the bay are present throughout the entire stay.

The living area features a new full-size sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV with DirecTV, and connects seamlessly to the beautifully remodeled kitchen — granite countertops, refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all cookware and dinnerware included. Casual dining for 4 at the granite eating bar with barstool seating gives the kitchen a relaxed, social energy that makes gathering here feel natural.

Step through the sliding doors onto the extended open balcony and you'll find outdoor dining for 4 alongside that sweeping Estero Bay view — morning coffee, lunch in the shade, sunset cocktails, or simply watching the wildlife activity on the water below. The balcony earns its place as the favorite room of the condo for virtually every guest who stays here.

The spacious bedroom features a king-size bed with resort-quality linens and its own floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening directly to the balcony — the bay view is the first thing you see when you wake up.

Airbnb Cleaning Fee Question

Important note to Airbnb travel guests about the cleaning/housekeeping fee:

This is a combination of the actual cleaning/housekeeping fee, modest booking fee, and state & local taxes, and not the cleaning fee exclusively.

Our cleaning/housekeeping fees vary based on size of property, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, pool patio homes, garages, etc. They typically range between $125-$325 based on the aforementioned.

The booking fee is $89.

Airbnb does not currently allow hosts to itemize these fees on their site which is why we'd like to explain what otherwise appears to be an excessive cleaning fee expense.

There was an issue with the unit prior to my arrival, but Itrip kept me informed and they were able to resolve the issue before I arrived. Their communication and assistance was outstanding. The condo was clean and exactly as described, really enjoyed the view from the balcony. I made Itrip aware that the railing on the balcony was not attached to the wall in one spot and they were notifying building maintenance due to it being a safety concern. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the mattress as it was extremely hard and uncomfortable.

We stayed 9 days and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The unit faces east, so we enjoyed sunrises overlooking the water every morning. During the hottest part of the day, the balcony had shade, so it was pleasant out there all day long. There's a nicely equipped workout room in the building and practically no competition for the equipment, so it was like having our very own gym. The pool is pretty, although we didn't use it much - there are some surprisingly strong gusts of wind around the building. The Fort Myers Beach area is still struggling to recover from hurricanes, so we mostly headed south for dining, entertainment & shopping. On Bonita Beach Road, we had a pleasant dinner one night at The Fish House. There's also a Fernandez the Bull in the Publix parking lot on Bonita Beach Road & Hwy 41. A talented young guitarist/singer made our dinner there even more enjoyable. And Naples is just a short drive, so we visited some of our favorite places there during our stay. We also cooked in the unit a few times. The kitchen is small, but reasonably well equipped. Watch your speed on the road near the building! There's a construction crew working on replacing the bridge and every day we saw at least one or two speeders pulled over in that area.

Stayed 4 nights last year in unit 802 and loved it so much we did a week this year. This condo is perfect for my wife and I. Everything about it was perfect. From the beautiful sunrises, the way the condo is setup, the pool and having Flippers on the Bay restaurant right next to the property is awesome. Could not say enough about it. Already making plans to come back next year.

First time staying in this condo. Parking is free and. readily available. The pool area is clean and very inviting. The elevators had a long. wait some days , as only one has been working. since Christmas we were told. All the people we met were very friendly. The condo was nice and clean, beach towels, chairs, coolers and umbrella were provided. The shower is in the tub with a very high step to get in, making it awkward along with a window in the shower that faced the bedroom with blinds. T.he patio was the best thing and we even saw dolphins in. the bay. It's a good are in between Bonita Springs and Fort Myers.

Spent a week on business at Lovers Key Resort #802 - I could not recommend a better experience ! The communication from the moment I booked all the way to checkout- , was incredible- emails with thorough specific directions and easy access came all throughout my stay. There was an internet outage and it was quickly resolved with a quick text and resolution within a day . Spectacular views from a large balcony , watched dolphins playing from the deck every day. The pool was huge and very clean with plenty of chairs . Flippers restaurant in the same parking lot was super with many delicious choices - this will be my go to stay when in this area !!

The place is amazing. The view from the balcony is unforgettable!! In the beginning the balcony was little scary for the high but it's beautiful. The couch for a third person is not very comfortable but the bed is perfect. The air AC is noisy.. tolerable but noisy for that quite place. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Very easy access and secure. I loved it!!

Stayed here 4 days. My wife and I were completely satisfied with our stay. The condo was beautiful from the decor to the location. It had everything we could have wanted. We are already planning on returning next year to this same condo if possible. Would definitely recommend the overall place.

The condo is above all a great value! My wife and I came in for a long weekend to go fishing. This unit worked well for us. Good location. Very clean and well appointed, with a great view of Estero Bay. It is away from the congestion of Ft Myers Beach. The only improvement we would suggest is to replace the blinds so we can fully enjoy the views. Would come back again

I normally don’t write reviews, but I do read them.me and my wife rented unit 802 in lover’s key resort for one week in April 2021. The view was unbelievably beautiful. The unit itself could use some upgrading but my only complain is the beach chairs and the umbrella were a joke. If you are a child they would be ok they were so low we couldn’t use them. With the money they get for a week, they could definitely afford to buy a decent set. The kitchen, no room to even make toast.

We feel compelled to address a few of your concerns, because as you say, potential guests read reviews and we would hope they compare your opinon versus the majority of the other most recent reviews to see that this condo far exceeds your 3 star rating. The majority of units in this complex are manged by the onsite management team (which is great!) and we happen to know that despite their guests having to pay a daily resort fee (ours DO NOT) they do not require or ask their owners to provide beach equipment for their guests. We highly suggest to our owners that they do - it is complimentary, free to use and purchased at the descretion of the owner. Because the units are not huge, many prefer the smaller scale sand chairs that are lighter to carry and take up much less storage space. Regarding the kitchen - it is clearly shown in the professional photography we use to accurately portray our units so that potential guests have a clear view of what they are renting. We believe the size of the kitchen is in no way misrepresented in the same photos you saw when you chose this unit. It is unfortunate that some of the complimentary extras provided you, as well as a cleary depicted kitchen, caused you to feel this property only deserved a 3 star review. We wish you the best in your future travels.

After a bumpy start we had a terrific stay at Lovers Key resort. Fantastic location across the street from state park with unbelievable views across Estero Bay. Couldn’t get key codes into unit to work at first, then walked into unit that hadn’t been made up yet. Local property management team was responsive and quickly got us taken care of. Manager even drove out linens and towels over that night. Except for that would have been 5 stars.

Great resort. A nice walk to the beach, and close to water activities too. A nice sort of quiet place, but close enough to Ft. Myers beach nightspots if you need a bit more excitement.

This beautiful condo is in an excellent location (across from Lovers Key State Park) with the most amazing water views from every window! We enjoyed relaxing and watching the dolphins playing in the water, fish jumping while pelicans dove for their dinner. What a show, compliments of mother nature!!! We also enjoyed watching the boats and jet skis each day. Did I tell you about the tropical pool? It is what you would expect in a five-star resort! Tranquil sounds from the water-fall are guaranteed to have you relaxed in no time. This condo is much nicer than the pictures show. It is well equipped, nicely decorated and has a beautiful new, comfy couch that was a great spot to stretch out on for an afternoon nap or to read a book! The bed was super comfortable and was like sleeping on a cloud. Perfection! We were thrilled with iTrip management and its staff. I can't say enough about their attention to detail and making sure that our stay was perfect! Bravo and Thank you!!! We already have booked next year's stay at this unit! Looking forward to another fantastic vacation!

usually love lover's key. this time was disappointing specifically due to room features. the price was essentially same as direct from resort, but the following were issues. the bed in master bedroom had a very uncomfortable mattress. It had only a cheap criss cross metal lattice versus a box spring. the mattress was cheap. the pull out sofa bed had a significantly soiled mattress. the sofa needs to be pitched, it has fraying in the material and smells musty. the bathroom had black mold on the shower curtain. the room itself is good. everything else good. nice view onto bay. Please put in a decent bed with mattress that matches the quality of the rest of this resort!!!!

Dear Andreas - we regret to hear you did not find this nice condo up to your standard. The king bed is a pillowtop mattress platform bed and the queen mattress on the pullout is a standard pullout sleeper mattress with a mattress pad. We were unaware of the stains on the underside of the mattress on the pullout sleeper, but appreciate you bringing it to our attention so the owner can address it. The beds are the same as the resort as those were in there provided by the resort. The sofa itself is in good condition; the underside of one of the pillows does have a couple of pulls in the fabric, but nothing that’s seen or interferes with the function of the sofa. As for the bathroom shower liner, although there is some mildew - which housekeeping has been asked to handle and pay attention to - there is no black mold on it or anything else. This condo and the rest of lovers key is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful southwest Florida nature & views. We’re happy to hear to enjoyed those experiences.

I gave 5 stars here for many reasons. First it's the value for the accommodation with scenery. Second the itrip team were on their game and left the condo perfectly prepared for our arrival ( neat and tidy). Why yes I will go on and tell you more, your welcome. My wife and I wake up every morning to the sun rise and coffee on the balcony over looking the bay. The balcony was a great hang out for a glass of wine after our days exploring Ft Myers Beach shops too. The layout of the condo was inviting with wonderful views of the bay, full kitchen a comfortable safa and bed, also cable tv and internet when we wanted down time. The layout of the resort was perfect, from the breakfast cafe, too the pool with heat tub, also the amazing views all around. My 14 year wedding anniversary was made beautiful thanks to my choice vacationing here. Thank you Brett, and the Itrip team.
