The public beach access is just .5 miles from the condo, just about a 10 minute walk or a few minutes drive. There you will find our beautiful Gulf, where you can sun, play, swim, enjoy sunrise runs along the beach, and dazzling sunsets at night. Just south off the island is the bridge to the acclaimed Lovers' Key State Beach Recreational Park Preserve...Ranked in the top 10 Florida Beaches by the Travel Channel. Perfect nature hiking, and canoe and kayak rentals! Beach chairs, an umbrella, and drink cooler, supplied with the house.

When you aren't at the beach, you are within a short distance of local bars and restaurants, many of which feature daily live music. Also close by is shopping and boat/water sport rentals. Within a few minutes drive you can also visit the popular Times Square and the iconic Pier, which is the cultural heart of Fort Myers Beach, or head south off the island to Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs, and Naples. In addition to the vast array of restaurants to suit everyone's taste, the island has a full Publix grocery store, for your convenience.

Take the Island's Beach Trolley street side to wherever you wish to explore on the island, including family amusements, movie cinema, day or sunset cruises, fishing charters and casino ships, numerous restaurants, happy hours and entertainment venues. Don't forget the day ferry excursions to Key West, and travels to the Everglades!

Our cleaning/housekeeping fees vary based on size of property, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, pool patio homes, garages, etc. They typically range between $125-$325 based on the aforementioned.

The booking fee is $89. 
 
Airbnb does not currently allow hosts to itemize these fees on their site which is why we'd like to explain what otherwise appears to be an excessive cleaning fee expense.

Wonderful vacation in SW Florida

This unit was perfect for our needs. We wanted to explore SW Florida and it allowed us to go both north and south to explore Naples, Marco Island, Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers, etc. Also being a 10 minute walk to Ft. Myers beach made it great for those days where we didn't want to travel (or pay parking to visit another beach - it adds up!) but wanted to enjoy a day at the beach. The complex is very quiet which made it nice to return from a busy day and chillax! The process to get access and to leave was very simple and direct. The key code on the front door was very convenient requiring no keys to enter or exit. The place was clean and comfortable. I deducted one star because the listing shows a king bed in master bedroom when its only a queen (disappointing) and the mattress in master bedroom, although firm, was not very padded. The mattress in the secondary bedroom was much better - we ended up moving to that room to sleep. Other than that, it was great. Parking is awesome and convenient. We didn't use the pool, preferring the beach, but it looked very nice and not busy.

We had an excellent stay. The condo was a good size for 4 people. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The location was great and the grounds and pool were beautiful. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the host was very quick to respond. He had a call into the appliance repair immediately and delivered a mini fridge for us while we waited. They also reimbursed us for any groceries that had to be thrown away. Sometimes these issues come up but it’s the response of the host that makes the difference. We would definitely return.
