Beautiful lakefront home on Collard lake located on the north end of Florence Oregon near Mercer lake. As soon as you enter this beautiful home You'll notice the large great room with 12' ceilings and large windows that overlook Collard lake. The living room features a large TV, comfortable seating, and a cozy fireplace. Just off the living room is a well stocked kitchen and a grand master suite. The two additional bedrooms are situated on the opposite side of the house for a little separation and privacy. Step out of the glass back door and onto the beautiful upper deck with a gas grill, patio seating and amazing views. For a little extra family bonding time or game night you will absolutely love the huge game room located on the lower level and only accessible from an exterior door. The game room features an air hockey table, foosball table, poker table, comfortable seating and coming soon a media area. There are plenty of board games and puzzles for endless family memories. Off the rear of the game room walk out onto the lower deck with more great views and a walkway down to the lake. For a little extra relaxation try out the hot tub located in the converted garage. The entire family will love this Oregon Coast home.
Collard Lake:
Collard lake is a small lake for fishing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. No motorized vessels permitted.
Nearby Mercer Lake:
Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1 mile further east on Mercer Lake rd., watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option is about 1 mile West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water.
Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well..
With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish.
What’s nearby
This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road. The charming Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force the crabs out to the ocean.
