Welcome to the 5 Points Bungalow. This home built in 1893, is in the 5 Points neighborhood one of the oldest in Denver. Cultures blend in historic Five Points, one of Denver's oldest and most diverse neighborhoods. The district was known as the "Harlem of the West" because it was a frequent stop for jazz greats including Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis, who played clubs like the Rossonian and the Rainbow Room. The neighborhood was also mentioned repeatedly in Jack Kerouac's "On the Road."
Today, historic Five Points' creativity and vibrancy live on in a fascinating fusion of old and new. Visitors can stop in at innovative coffeehouses and craft breweries, visit museums telling stories from the past, experience live music from all genres at independent music venues or eat at beloved soul food and barbecue institutions.
You will love the Five Points Jazz Festival, where every May, the neighborhood celebrates the area's musical heritage with more than 100 performers, great food and family-friendly activities.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! You really do not need a car here. The 5 Points is one of the most walkable neighborhood in Denver. Walk score: 94 and a Bike score of 96.
Renting a bike from Denver B-cycle is super easy - there are three stations located a half mile or less away. Simply ride the bike when you need it and check it back into any B-cycle station when you don't.
This home provides its guest with a gourmet kitchen, 2 bedrooms and one bath, off street parking for 2 cars, ample street parking and a large back yard with a patio.
You will love sitting in the back yard sipping your morning coffee, while to map out your day of exploring the city.
