Bahama Bay Resort is a conveniently located, affordably priced gated community that is just a few miles to the gates of Disney. The Resort Complex offers a Clubhouse and sundries shop, two bars and a variety of outdoor heated pools and Jacuzzis. If you're feeling energetic, there are sports facilities, or you can just enjoy wandering through the luxurious landscaped surroundings. There is 24 hour gated security for your complete peace of mind. Bahama Bay offers a family-friendly atmosphere and recreational activities to suit all ages.

This home has relaxing views off the screened in lanai overlooking the pool and palm trees. You will enjoy the large Master Suite with queen size bed, wall mounted flat panel TV and a private bathroom. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed with a flat panel TV and the third bedroom has two twin beds, also with a wall mounted new flat panel TV and a tasteful Mickey Mouse theme. .

The fully stocked kitchen also has a breakfast area with 2 bar stools. The dining area is conveniently located next to the kitchen and close to the nicely appointed living area with a new 42 inch, flat panel TV and DVD player, Free high speed wireless internet. There is also a high chair and Pak n Play.

This great and comfortable condo is within walking distance to the main club house and overlooks one of the four resort pools. Take a stroll to the Tradewinds restaurant and bar and the other three resort pools, the sun deck, sand volleyball area and pier fishing area.

After a day at the parks, you will definitely enjoy coming back to the peace and quiet of the screened and covered Lanai which overlooks the pool.

Bahama Bay is conveniently located near Disney, Golf, shopping and restaurants and a short drive to Universal Studios, Sea World and water parks.

We had a fantastic time staying here for our holiday. The apartment was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The pool and the facilities were great and even Tropical Storm Colin and the couple of 'damp' days couldn't damper our mood. If only Florida wasn't just a bit too far from Ireland, we would definitely return soon. If anyone is looking for a recommendation for a place to stay, we definitely suggest here. The condo is just as pictured and described. It is clean, well taken care of and sufficiently stocked. Plenty of room for a family to relax and have their own space. The area is very quiet and nice. So far we have enjoyed both pools and hot tubs. We plan to attend the restaurants super bowl dinner. We wish the management would have informed us of building roof repairs upon check in. Cathryn R. My family and I enjoyed our time in the Orlando area for over a week. The place we stayed was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. We had access to 3 pools and hot tubs. Also had a sand volleyball court and walking trails. We used it all. My family of 6 stayed here for Thanksgiving week. The property is clean and well maintained. This is a third floor unit with no elevator. Those stairs are the final "feel the burn " after long park days. There is a 24 hr guard and coming in and out was a breeze. Overall this place was exactly what we needed and we will likely return. ? Frequently Asked Questions

Upon arrival to the home, you should find the temperature set at 78 degrees (F).

If you find that your AC unit is not working properly, please make sure ALL doors and windows are closed. AC units will stop running when doors or windows are open.

Should the unit not return to normal cycling after doors and windows have been checked, or should you find the temperature too hot or cold for your preference, please phone our office during normal business hours, so we may assist you in a timely manner.

Please note that some of the larger homes have two AC units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Keeping those thermostats set on the same temperature will help to maintain a comfortable level throughout the home. 

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY SERVICE SHOULD ONLY BE CALLED IF THE TEMPERATURE IS OVER 80 DEGREES (F) OR BELOW 70 DEGREES (F) AND DOES NOT CHANGE AFTER ONE HOUR. 
Easy! Just phone our office at your earliest convenience to inquire whether your vacation home is available for an extension. If available, the rates are as follows: Up to 3:00 p.m. $75.00 / 3:00 p.m. or later – Full Night’s Rate
The home has been inspected prior to your arrival to note incidental damages however feel free to call our office during business hours to report issues you may find. Please note that regular maintenance items may take up to 24 hours to resolve
Ensure the power to the TV and cable box (if present) is on. TVs should generally be set on Channel 3 and the Cable remote is used to change the channel and adjust the volume. For TVs with only one remote present, that remote will perform all functions necessary. 

If you cannot see any channels or the screen says NO INPUT, the television is on the wrong INPUT. Locate the TV remote with the same name as the TV brand (i.e. Sony, Insignia, etc.), press the “INPUT” button until a picture comes on the screen or select “HDMI1”.

If there is a cable box, make sure that box is ON. For changing channels, please use the CABLE remote (i.e. Brighthouse Networks, Comcast, Summit, Verizon, etc.). 
 
Yes, you may schedule daily or mid-stay cleans by calling our office. Prices vary depending on the service requested and size of the home. 
If your home is equipped with a security alarm, it is to be used upon each departure from the home.

Please be sure to understand how the alarm system operates prior to setting it when leaving the home.  

Fees are assessed by the local Sheriff’s department for false alarm calls. 
CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M.

Late checkouts can be requested (and may or may not be granted) by calling our office.

Check Out Procedures
  • Check all drawers, cabinets, closets and under the beds for any belongings.  We do not have a lost and found and neither the management company nor the property owner are responsible for any items left in the home.
  • Remove all trash from the home, place bagged rubbish in the provided bench, bin or dumpster.  Please contact our office if there is more garbage than what can be placed in the bin.  We will make arrangements for collection or provide you with an alternative disposal area. Excessive trash will cause an additional $50.00 disposal fee to be charged to your credit card. 
  • Make sure all dishes are placed in the dishwasher along with dishwasher detergent and the washing cycle has been started prior to your departure.
  • If time permits, our housekeeping team appreciates a load of towels be placed in the washing machine and started prior to your departure.  
  • Fold down the comforters of each bed that has been used.  Please do not remove any linens from the beds as an inventory of each item must be done by our cleaning staff.
  • Take a moment to report any damages.  We understand that accidents happen, but failure to report damages could result in your being charged for repair or replacement. 
  • Ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked. 
  • Turn off all lights, appliances and faucets. 
  • Place return all thermostats to 78 degrees during the summer and 68 degrees during winter.
  • If your villa is equipped with an alarm system, please set the alarm with the provided code and lock the front door upon your final departure.

The Wi-Fi Network Name and Password may be found in your Welcome Letter. 
Please place bagged trash inside the bin provided. For communities with trash collection, your collection day is noted in your Welcome Letter.

For valet bench trash collection, please ensure all trash is bagged prior to placing in the bench.

For some communities with condos and town homes, you must place your bagged trash in the area dumpsters.  

During busy seasons and Holiday seasons, 4:00 p.m. Check In is not guaranteed. Early Check Ins or Late Check Outs cannot be granted.
 
Trash should be placed in closed Trash Bags before being put in the Trash Bin, DO NOT put household trash in Recycle Bin.  Trash found in or around the home after check out will result in an additional charge
 
Home cooling - please keep the thermostat between 72 and 78 degrees.  If the unit freezes due to low temp settings you will be charged a repair cost.  If service calls are requested and nothing is found wrong you will be charged
POOL RULES - Use AT YOUR OWN RISK. No Lifeguard is on site, no unsupervised children, no swimming alone, no diving, no running, NO GLASS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA.  
Neither Premier Resort Properties nor the owner of this home shall be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or death that may occur from the use of this pool or home.  Tampering with pool equipment will result in an additional fee charged to re set or repair equipment. 
POOL HEATER INFORMATION –
Minimum (3) consecutive nights, 18-24 hours to heat, won't turn on if below 55 F, will only heat 10-15 degrees above ambient 
DAMAGES –  FAILURE TO REPORT DAMAGES CAN AND WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO YOU  
ALL OF OUR UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING AND WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN THE HOME.

A minimum charge of $500.00 will be incurred for smoking and or unauthorized pets in the home.
PROPERTY INVENTORY
If we find any items missing or broken after your checkout, you will incur a replacement charge.
PLUMBING - 
Unclogging toilets or sinks will be charged at $150 or more.  Any after hour non-emergency calls will be charged at the going rate.
Check Out time is promptly at 10:00 A.M. on your Departure Date.
Late checkout fees will be assessed  
If home is left in poor condition and requires additional cleaning over the standard clean you will be charged an additional cleaning fee
Missing keys or fobs will be charged to you

My family of 6 stayed here for Thanksgiving week. The property is clean and well maintained. This is a third floor unit with no elevator. Although the location should be changed on Google maps.. when we first arrived we were taken into the back part of this community which seems to be divided (we were told someone else bought that part and was developing) and there is no way through but back out and around to get to the actual property. Overall this place was exactly what we needed and we will likely return. ?

The resort is beautiful. The condo has a few issues. I discovered 3 tears in the vinyl sofa. I’m leery about sitting on it! The owners have left instructions that that AC cannot be turned down below 73 or the cooling unit will freeze. Potential renters should be aware in the summer months. There are ceiling fans which help cool the unit. Overall the unit is satisfactory. I have been to this resort 2 other times and have enjoyed my stays. I would not recommend staying in this particular unit.

We recommend the low setting at 72 f but you can lower the thermostat to your comfort setting. Since the property has been nicely updated we think you would love to stay with us again. Thank you.

We had a very nice stay at the resort. The accommodations were clean and well cared for. While the decor was up to date, there were a couple of drawbacks. It is located on the third floor and that provides a bit of an obstacle carrying luggage and groceries upstairs. The televisions in the bedrooms are very small and the toilet paper and paper towels are extremely thin. Yet, the place is quiet and serene and the location is very convenient. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay near Orlando, this is a good choice!

Mixed thoughts

Upon arrival of the condo I was disappointed in the appearance of the carpet. There are many stains throughout the condo. There were no washcloths and a sheet on the wall stating inventory said there should be 12. The master bathtub/shower did not drain properly, so the water would build up during a shower and slowly drain after. The towels are old and scratchy and some of the beach towels had stains. We like the resort amenities such as billiards, swimming pools and shuffle board. The location is wonderful, you can drive to the ocean or beach or both.

We had our maintenance team check the drain which did have a slight restriction which we have addressed. We found all wash cloths in the cabinet, sorry you didn't find them however it would have been good if you would have contacted us during your stay so that we could address any questions and concerns that you might have had. We found the unit to be bright and nicely decorated. The key code entry is very convenient. The fireworks at Disney are very enjoyable as viewed from the third floor balcony. The unit was nicely supplied with linens and dinnerware. Our few minor issues were addressed quickly. We would have come again if the unit was available for our dates. No bugs around. We recommend this unit without reservation.

All Good Until...

We really enjoyed our trip to Bahama Bay and would have continued to stay there on our future visits to champions gate and the David leadbetter golf academy. However, the outrageous attempt to charge a cleaning fee of $105 to pick up 3 dirty towels off the floor sounds to me like larceny, on top of the standard $105 cleaning fee. As this was our first trip, do you folks have a pattern of this unfair and deceptive conduct that should be further investigated?

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the home was left in poor condition after you checked out and linens were damaged. You did not comply with the conditions of the rental agreement, welcome letter or welcome book in the property. The home is to be left in the same condition you found it upon check in which did not happen so it took significant effort to return it to a rentable condition. Thank you.
