Layout and The Home

Three exterior steps lead inside. The entry-level king suite includes an en-suite bath, walk-in closet, workspace, and private patio and hot tub access, with no interior stairs. Upstairs, the second king suite has an en-suite bath, workspace, and water and mountain views. The queen and twin rooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath, and a main-level powder room serves the living spaces.

The great room features double-height ceilings, a gas fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the reservoir and Wasatch Range. Front bedrooms face the Deer Valley slopes, while the king suites look toward the Jordanelle and mountains.

The gourmet kitchen includes a Viking gas range, built-in refrigerator, espresso machine, quartz countertops, and everything needed for meals at home.

Nine seats between the dining table and island keep everyone together for meals and conversation.

The living room opens to a back patio with lounge seating, Jordanelle and mountain views, and a private eight-person hot tub for relaxing after skiing or outdoor adventures.

Location and Access

Mayflower Lakeside sits directly below Deer Valley East Village, the newest base area at Deer Valley Resort, four minutes off U.S. 40. The base has the East Village Gondola and adds the Hail Peak Express quad for the 2026-27 season. In winter, the complimentary on-demand Mountain Mover shuttle runs guests from their door directly to the DVEV base, so nobody moves a car on a powder morning. Historic Main Street Park City is 15 minutes by car. Salt Lake City International Airport is 40 minutes via Highway 40. A vehicle is recommended anytime in the spring and fall, or if you plan to enjoy Park City and the surrounding amenities outside of the DVEV base in the winter. The two car garage and two driveway parking spaces at this rental make this seamless.

Is Chalet J ski-in/ski-out?

No. The base at Deer Valley East Village is a two-minute drive, or a ride on the Mountain Mover in winter. The trade-off is more space and a private hot tub at a rate below comparable slopeside inventory.

Is this home good for family reunions, families, and grandparents?

Yes. The queen and twin rooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath upstairs, giving kids their own end of the house. The upstairs king master suite allows parents luxurious respite, while the main-level king suite keeps grandparents off the interior stairs. A local rental service can deliver cribs, highchairs, and gates before arrival.

Do I need a car?

A vehicle is recommended, especially in the spring/summer/fall. The Mountain Mover covers winter lift access with door-to-slopes drop-off, but dining, groceries, and summer plans are easiest by car.
