"Northstar Village:

THE SETTING: This lovely private and quiet escape is completely surrounded by 12,000-14,000 foot peaks at the headwaters of Blue River as it tumbles toward Breckenridge 6 miles or 20 minutes away. Parking in Breck is never free, but there are kiosks all over and it usually no more than just a couple bucks. Gondola parking is surprisingly thrifty! Monday thru Thursday- $5 Friday thru Sunday plus Peak Days- $12 If you're out the door by 8-9am, there are usually still spots left.

This is the place for your group if you want an especially dramatic setting, with 3 bedrooms clustered together and the bunk room in a completely separate wing of the house with no shared walls. The bunk room has a commercial-grade shuffleboard game next to the french doors and private balcony, and a great seating area with a huge flat-screen TV. Great for kids or teens and their cousins/buddies!

Bedroom Configuration:

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed - sleeps 2 - Master Bedroom TV

Bedroom 2: Queen Bed - sleeps 2

Bedroom 3: Queen bed - sleeps 2

Bedroom 4 (Bunk Room): 2 Bunk Beds (twin over twin) - sleeps 4 - TV in the sitting room

THE HOME: This home is with just the right amount of cozy, tasteful furnishings. The owners thankfully withheld the "mountain kitsch" decor, perhaps since chances are good that you'll see the real thing in your yard at some point during your stay! Moose, bear, deer, and fox are frequent visitors.

The large, private hot tub is at the end of the massive porch that wraps around the front and side of the main house with a propane heater, gas grill, and smoker. With private, tranquil views of the dense, heavenly-scented forest, guests are free to use the infra-red propane heater to enable non-tubbers to comfortably chat with the hot-tubbers.

The road to the house is reliably plowed, as is the nearly flat driveway. But the road up to the house absolutely requires 4-wheel drive when there's any chance of snow - September - May!

We stayed at this home for our annual friends' trip and it was excellent - clean and orderly, modern, and very comfortable. The only downside was that the wifi was not working (maybe because it was cloudy and the satellite signal wasn't strong?) - not entirely sure but, nevertheless, a wonderful home to stay at. Would be a perfect 5/5 if there were no internet issues.

This home was exactly what we hoped for. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed to cook multiple meals. There was 7 of us in our group and we had pleanty of room to all gather together in the main room. Each room was spacious and well heated. The heated garage was also nice. This home is very beautiful. We stayed during the new year holiday and the house was festive and we enjoyed the Christmas lights on the trees outside. The home was easy to find and not far from Breckenridge. We enjoyed this home and hope to return.

Carla and Elizabeth helped us during the whole prosses of booking to checking in and answering the questions we had. I was hesitant in booking a home through VRBO that the home was managed by a company but both ladies were avaliable when we had questions and during our trip. I would book again through iTrip.

We had a great time in Breckenridge staying at Northstar Village. The place is as pictured only better. The main floor has the kitchen, living and dining area. It's open concept and everyone can hang as you cook, eat and chill. The 3 bedrooms are up one flight of stairs and the shuffleboard and bunk beds are up another set up of stairs on the opposite side of the house. I do a lot of house rentals and this one is by far the most stocked house I have ever been in... we had everything we needed. We cooked several meals at home. We even had our groceries delivered since we got in late. (though City Market groceries is a farily close drive if you have time and prefer to shop your own). There was plenty of hot water and every bed had 4 comfy pillows and plenty of blankets. The hot tub is up to date in and in great working order. The outside environment is breathtaking. So many beautiful flowers and wildlife. We took a walk around the area during the golden hour and encountered a fox mom with her pups... she got them all in and kept popping out of the fox hole to make sure her babies were ok. The property manager/owner was so helpful on all questions we had. Very prompt response before and during our stay. The elevation is a little higher than Breck, so drink lots of water before you come to prepare. There is an oxygen bar in Breck if you need it, though we didn't. Our experience was amazing and I can see myself coming back. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us and giving a beautiful place to stay.

We loved these accommodations for our 1st visit to Breckenridge. Everything we needed we found in the home. The kids loved the double bunk beds on the opposite side of the house, and for the adults it was a plus in the evening for rest. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you need to create meals if you don't want to dine out, just pickup the groceries of course. Only thing you'll miss is WiFi. Siri said the house was 11,000 ft altitude so I think it probably was spotty because of the location. We stayed a night in Denver before driving up and that helped us all with adjusting to the altitude. Aside from that Motrin and water, we made it thru with just a few headache complaints. The house is beautiful. Thank you for making it so welcoming!

The description of this place doesn’t do it justice. This place has sooo much more to offer. The amenities were spot on, hair dryer in both upstairs bathroom, garage is fully stocked with different things you can do outdoors, the board games, even tools like screwdrivers! (We forgot ours for our snowboard bindings) etc... the kitchen was very surprisingly stocked. Out of all the homes I’ve ever rented in Breck, this one was by far the best stocked. There were trash bags, dish soap, seasoning, sauces, plates, forks, detergant, everything! We couldn’t stop talking about how generous this place was. The drive wasn’t bad at all to breck (20 min) , to keystone (35 min), or to Vail (1hr). It was a great experience and I hope to come back in the coming year! Thank you for having us! The only thing I would recommend having there is snow scrapers for cars, since we rented our cars they didn’t come with them, and there was a huge huge snowfall on the third day we were there, but we improvised and made it through. :-)

This is a beautiful and spacious mountain home. It is welcoming with modern furnishings and a fireplace. The kitchen area is stunning. The home offers space to have personal quiet time, but also offers an open area for everyone to gather together. It has an outstanding wrap-around deck with a hot tub. There are surrounding mountain peak views. The location is secluded and quiet among the trees. Roads provide easy access. Breckenridge is close-by to enjoy the activities.
