Traveling with more family or friends? This waterfront retreat occupies one side of a duplex, with its own private entrance, separate driveway, garage, and comfortable interior living space. The adjoining residence is also available as a separate vacation rental — a wonderful option for family or friends who want to vacation together while enjoying their own accommodations. Both residences must be reserved separately and are subject to availability.

Comfortable Coastal Living:

The bright, open living area features comfortable seating, coastal-inspired touches, and a large Smart TV for relaxing after a day of Florida adventures. Sliding glass doors open to the screened porch and bring the outdoors into view, creating a connection between the living space and the waterfront backyard.

The updated kitchen makes vacation meals easy, with stainless steel appliances, generous counters, cookware, dinnerware, small appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker for your morning brew. Whether you're preparing fresh local seafood, enjoying takeout from a nearby restaurant, or sharing breakfast before the beach, you'll have the conveniences of home close at hand.

An adjacent dining area provides seating for two, perfect for sharing meals or planning the day's adventures.

When the day's adventures are over, retreat to one of two comfortable bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished for a restful night's sleep with beds made for your arrival with provided bedding, Smart TVs, ceiling fans and ample storage.

One of the highlights of Captain's Cabin is the screened porch - this inviting outdoor space offers dining for four, additional seating, a ceiling fan, and a BBQ grill. It's a wonderful place to enjoy Florida's beautiful weather without ever leaving home.

Beyond the porch, the shared backyard leads to the waterfront, where you can watch boats passing along the canal, enjoy a little fishing, or simply appreciate the peaceful surroundings.

Love spending time on the water? The property's Gulf-access canal opens the door to exploring Southwest Florida's scenic waterways. Complimentary shared watercraft include three kayaks, one canoe, and one stand-up paddleboard, available to guests of both residences on a first-come, first-served basis.

Paddle through quiet waterways, take in the surrounding mangroves, and keep an eye out for the native birds and wildlife that make this area so special.

For boating enthusiasts, Captain's Cabin also offers a designated seawall tie-up suitable for boats approximately 18–22 feet long. Rent a boat locally and enjoy the freedom to discover the waterways at your own pace.

Please Note:

This rental occupies one side of a duplex with 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 guests; the adjoining residence may be occupied during your stay.

The backyard, picnic table, dock and complimentary watercraft are shared between both residences. Watercraft are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each unit has its own designated seawall tie-up, accommodating boats approximately 18–22 feet long. There is no boat trailer parking on the property. Guests arranging local boat rentals should verify vessel size, tidal conditions, and navigational requirements.

No smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property, including indoor and outdoor areas.

Guests must provide logins for subscription-based channels on Smart TVs.

The purchase of propane, if needed, is the responsibility of the guest.

No pets permitted.

No parties, large gatherings, or excessive noise. Please respect the neighbors and adjoining guests.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Southwest Florida's subtropical environment is home to insects, geckos, and other native wildlife. Despite routine professional pest control, occasional sightings may occur. Their presence does not indicate that the property is unclean or untreated and is not grounds for a refund.
