Located in the quiet River Wild neighborhood of Mt Bachelor Village Resort, this fantastic 3 bedroom home is an ideal destination for visitors to Central Oregon. Close to all things Bend, and on the fast track to Mt Bachelor, guests will be treated to the perfect combination of location, comfort, and relaxation.

This Mt Bachelor Resort home is located 2 blocks off the entrance to the resort on a quiet loop of forested lots. Mt Bachelor is a simple and quick 15-minute drive the chairlift. On the way are SnoParks that feature some slick sledding for the kids.

The home offers extraordinary comfort for 6 in large bedrooms with great bedding.

You can hop on the trail located mere yards away from the front door and be on the river’s edge in 5 minutes. Take the trail all the way to the Old Mill District in a postcard setting of tall pines, the flowing Deschutes, and soaring bald eagles

If it's golf or biking, you're looking for, you couldn't find a better destination. Renowned Tetherow Golf Resort is a short jaunt down S Century Dr. 18 breathtaking holes designed by David McLay Kidd. Widgi Creek is just 2 miles further down S Century Dr. Ask any biker about Phil's trail and you'll find out you are near one of the premier trail experiences in C Oregon. Bikers of any mettle will find something on the trail to thrill them.

Spend the warm summer afternoon at the community pool, just around the corner. Of course, you can always drop your floatie into the river at the launch, located 5 minutes away.

Grocery store and restaurants are a straight shot 5 minute drive down the road.

Go ahead and exhaust yourself taking in everything this outdoor mecca has to offer. Return to an uber-refreshing home with tall ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight, and all the creature comforts needed to recharge for the next day.

You are 5 minutes away from all of the Bend attractions and hot spots – downtown, Old Mill district, restaurants, breweries, shopping, Schwab Amphitheater, river access.

Access to Hwy 97 is easy. From here, you can take a trek south to Sunriver, museums, Newberry Monument and Lava Lands. Or head north to Smith Rock Park to get your rock climbing fix.

No need to get carried away packing. Full sized washer and dryer are yours to use.

Wi-fi is especially important these days, and you all the bandwidth you will need here.

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

NO PETS allowed at this property.

Maximum Occupancy: 6 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib. Occupancy limits are in effect 24 hours/day.

Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.

SECURITY: Ring Doorbell camera in use at main entrance.

Guests must adhere to Bend Good Neighbor Guidelines. Copy is in the binder.

Frequently Asked Questions

HAZARDOUS PRACTICES
No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking.

FAMILY RENTAL ONLY
Reservations made for teenagers or young single requires an accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. At least one member of the party needs to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted according to Oregon law with forfeiture of all monies.

FALSIFIED RESERVATION
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.

HOUSEKEEPING
No daily maid service.  Additional cleaning fees will be due in the event that cleaning involves the removal of excessive debris, excessive spillage or staining of carpets, or uncleaned cooking grease and stains.

We reserve the right to charge guests for not complying with house cleaning rules.  Specifically, we reserve the right to charge guests if all dishes have not been cleaned either in the dishwasher or by hand, if all trash is not bagged and cinched, and if all perishable food has not been disposed.  

UTILITIES
No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, or internet. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. 

SECURITY CAMERAS
If security cameras for outdoor visual monitoring are present at the property, the listing will disclose this fact.  Tenant accepts the monitoring of the outside and agrees to not tamper with the security system.
 
NONSMOKING UNIT
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the property AND on premises. Any evidence of smoking will result in $150 fine, plus the cost of smoke remediation.

DOGS
If you are staying in a dog-friendly property and are planning to bring your dog, you must notify us.  No more than one dog is allowed unless prior arrangements have been made.  A dog fee is required, and it varies depending on the property.  You must confirm your dog is flea and tick free, and is up to date on all vaccinations.  Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or bedding.  Please notify us of any accidents that occur in the home.  Please clean up outdoors.

If you are staying in a No Pet property, we reserve the right to take any or all of the following actions if a pet or Emotional Support Animal is brought onto the property,  a) charge a pet fee, b) charge extra for cleaning or picking up behind the pet, c) charge a fee for neighbor complaints, d) charge a refundable damage deposit, e) ask tenant to vacate the premises with no refund of any fees or damage deposits paid.
 

SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES
All occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, people using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

BICYCLES
iTrip or the Owner are in no way responsible for bodily harm or injuries that may occur while using the bicycles provided by the property. The Guest agrees to use the bicycles at your own risk. You are responsible for wearing helmets, and for securing the bikes. The Guest is responsible for the bicycles should they be lost or stolen when not on the vacation home premises.

MAINTENANCE
Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to the us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and sound equipment.

LINENS/TOWELS/SUPPLIES
The owners furnish linens and towels. Lost or damaged linens may be deducted from your deposit. An initial supply of products is provided. Extra items needed are the responsibility of the Tenant. Limited cleaning supplies may be provided. We recommend that you bring any special items that you may need.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We had a wonderful experience staying four nights at The Big Eddy. The house is centrally located between downtown Bend and the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. The location is perfect for a day trip to Elk Lake or dinner at the Old Mill District. There's also an amazing river trail located within walking distance of the house. The house itself is well outfitted with a fully stocked kitchen, board games, smart TV, comfortable furniture etc. We were impressed by the easy check-in/check-out process and cleanliness upon arrival. The Big Eddy is a fantastic option for those looking to enjoy what Bend has to offer.

Beautiful Comfy home

It was our first time visiting Bend and this home gave us an excellent experience of how Bend is like. The house itself is very well-maintained and well-equipped - we have stayed at numerous Airbnb and Virbo homes and this one was one of the most impressive ones. The house's clean, comfy, homely. Situating in a safe neighborhood and among the pine trees, the porch is a perfect place to enjoy morning tea/coffee and happy hour. It's very close to the gorgeous River Trail and we did the loop a few times during our stay. We had an incredible time here and this home is highly recommended!
