Beautiful Aspen Mountain Condo, this contemporary two bedroom condominium is the perfect spot for a great winter or summer getaway. The complex offers great views, a location that is close to downtown with a heated pool, nestled on Aspen Mountain. This newly renovated condo has a wonderful combination of mountain comfort and contemporary elegance. Being one of a handful of on mountain condo properties on Aspen Mountain, this premier condo is a hidden gem. Hiking on Aspen Mtn. is right out the door and just a quick 5 blocks away you will find Aspen's numerous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. However, as the property is tucked up against the mountain it is a quiet and peaceful retreat. Take advantage of the on-call free Downtowner Shuttle to get you anywhere you need to go in the Aspen Core! This property is ski-in ski-out to the Shadow Mountain Lift.

The open concept living room and kitchen, with its high vaulted ceilings, and wall to wall windows, affords beautiful views of Aspen. The condo is located on the 3rd floor, without elevator access, but the views are worth the stairs! The dining area offers plenty of space to enjoy dinner with family or friends while enjoying the views outside of the seasons all year round. Any time of year this condo is a great choice when coming to visit the Aspen Snowmass area. It is ideal for a small family or a few friends traveling together. After a hot cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast, stroll just a few feet to the mountain to start your hike in the summer or to the snow to ride the Shadow Mountain Lift (Lift 1-A) up to start your day. At the end of your day, or for a quick lunch stop, you can store your skis right outside the front door and the entry has plenty of space for boots and coats. The seasonal outdoor heated pool is so comforting after a long day experiencing all that Aspen Snowmass has to offer.

Complimentary parking for one vehicle in on-site lot. Additional vehicles will need to be parked off-site. **Property is located on the 3rd floor and does not have elevator access** We can provide luggage assistance as needed with contact in advance of your arrival to schedule this.

  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected
  • The maximum number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises are grounds for eviction.
  • Check-in time is after 4pm, may be as late as 5 or 6pm in peak winter and summer season.  Check-out time is 10am.
  • No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit with the exception of fire contained within a wood burning fireplace. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental activation of smoke detector alarm.
  • There is no daily maid service.  Additional maid service can be arranged for a fee. Please contact us in advance for pricing.
  • "No pets or emotional support animals" policy must be observed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent or damage deposit.
  • Smoking (cigarette and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the unit and on any outdoor patio or balcony. Your damage deposit will be forfeited or you will be charged a $1000 fee if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered under the insurance.  You will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.  This is also grounds for eviction.
  • Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25). We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
  • Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
  • iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Tenant hereby acknowledges that if the premises they have reserved includes a community pool and hot tub or private hot tub and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool, hot tub and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings,Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the community pool, hot tub and patio areas.
  • Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
  • Any violation of posted rules at property that incur a fine will be the responsibility of the tenant. Examples include access outside of pool and hot tub hours, improper disposal of trash, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.  
  • By signing this agreement you agree that your rental is transient in nature and does not provide you with tenant rights.  Transient accommodations or “short term rentals” are also subject to applicable Colorado Sales, county and city taxes which are added as a part of your total payment. Should the laws change regarding applicable taxes, we will adjust your booking accordingly.  We are required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes.

The ITrip people were great. Communication was awesome. They also allowed us to store our luggage at their office before check in and after check out. That solved a big issue as we had several hours before we could check in and after checkout. I highly recommend them.

Condo was flawless and is NICER than the photos show... would give it 5 1/2 or six stars if that was an option. iTrip service was exceptional... immediate response to text questions. We are planning to return to Aspen, and we will absolutely want to stay at this condo.

We truly enjoyed our extended stay at Shadow Mountain #13. The condo had everything we could possibly want and more. ITrip was so incredibly nice from start to finish. We had an area wide gas outage during our stay and they went above and beyond to keep us updated and keep us warm! Shadow Mountain is a great ski in, ski out (Lift 1A) complex. Not for those with agility/mobility issues- there are a lot of stairs inside and outside the condo. The pool is heated year round. It’s a quiet unit. Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, and so welcoming. I was skeptical about iTrip.net simply because of the .net. Their staff (Kim, Kim and Janet) & maintenance are top notch!! It’s one of the best companies. I would compare it to Inspirato with the exception of iTrip not having a concierge and there is no membership fee. We are picky people who like to be catered to, and they meet and exceed our needs. On the rare occasion we called them, response time was immediate. I can’t say enough good things about them, or this property. It was maintained beautifully. Everything is within walking distance to this condo. It’s two blocks (uphill and over) from the St. Regis. We will definitely use iTrip again in the future. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Lovely apartment will nice finishes and comfortable beds. A bit on the small side if more than 2 people. The upstairs living room/kitchen area gets a bit hot in the summer...recommend a better aircon unit. Downstairs bedrooms stay nice and cool.

Exceeded our expectations

This was an amazing condo right on the mountain. You can literally ski to the front door of the condo. The building itself seems to be older but the condo has recently been renovated. All of the furnishings are very modern and cosy. It is ideal for 2-4 people to stay. If you stay here, you should defenitly ski Aspen. The other mountains are a bit far, but this condo is perfect for an Aspen skier. The walk up the hill can be a bit difficult if you are carrying something or out of shape. Everything is quite tight in the condo, not a lot of space to open bags or spread out clothes in the bedrooms but it is very space efficient. The living room and kitchen are also fully stocked with board games, etc. The service of iTrip was also amazing. They were very helpful to us and gave lots of useful tips for Aspen.

The condo is exactly as pictured in the photos. Great view. Clean. We booked it for its ski in / ski out location, and the upgraded/ more modern finishes. Kim was kind enough to help me set up last minute transportation to the airport! One minor note , it up 3 flights of stairs, which was tough with our large suitcases, and I wasn’t able to find an elevator. Besides that, it was fantastic, and we will be back!

I have been to Shadow mountain several times. It is the best location in Aspen. This unit is updated and perfect for small group or faimily. Highly recommend. There are multiple step to get to the unit so I would not recommend for anyone with difficulty walking. Overall - Fantastic

People can use the funicular if they want to bypass some of the stairs but there is still a flight before reaching this. We think the view when you enter the condo is worth the stairs though! Hi, we had an excellent time in the unit: The good: fully stocked kitchen to make large dinner, extremely comfortable queen bed in room 1 - it felt like it was memory foam, steam shower in downstairs bathroom!, ski and ski out for ajax, great tv/sonos sound system, lot of extra blankets and towels, sparkling clean, good communication with landlord The just ok: we knew this going into the reservation but it is a decent walk uphill to the condo complex and then a few more flights of stairs but you dont get ski in and ski out any other way! i liked the tramway which does help transport luggage so you arent hiking up 3 flights a stairs yourself. finally i wish i had known the pool was open year round as when we walked by it was covered but apparently this was an automatic cover that we could have rolled back :) our fault really. i would definitely stay again!

Everyone that I encountered at ITRIP Aspen was wonderful to work with. Before arriving, I called Kim for restaurant recommendation due to it being Christmas, I knew I had to make reservations. She was extremely helpful on the phone and sent me a list within a few hours. Patrick was also extremely helpful with the check-in/check-out process. Upon arrival and departure, he picked up our bags and stored them which allowed us to work around town and enjoy ourselves without carrying bags. . Anytime we called with questions or concerns they helped us immediately. They are very accessible. Super friendly too.... Excellent company to work with!!

No communication re: pool being closed and roof maintenance. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the coffee maker had used grounds. Listing stated there was a keurig, but there wasnt. With only two tiny windows that opened, temperature upstairs was at least 80 every day - it was stifling. Tablet with information didnt work, charging station was also not functional. Couch needs to be cleaned or slipcovered - its quite dirty. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans etc.

Outstanding accommodations. The condo was extremely comfortable and appointed with everything that was needed. The location was great. Easy ski in ski out to Ajax and good parking for car to travel to other mountains. Easy walk to all of downtown Aspen. Would rent again and recommend without reservation.

There was no air conditioning, the washing machine didnt work and there where a lot of stairs to get to the unit. The unit was beautiful but those items made it less than 5 star.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We did have problems with the washing machine that came up during your stay and we replaced that machine as quickly as possible. There are quite a few stairs to get to Shadow Mountain 13 and do want to make sure guests know that. There is a lift at the right end of the building that shortens the walk. This condo has everything you need if you are looking to cook while you are here. Beds and bedding are very comfortable. Very convenient to city center, restaurant and spa. The only negative was all of the steps. If you can’t walk up or down stairs, this is not the place for you.
