Located in the Sandstone area overlooking Vail Mountain, this 3 level, 6 bedroom home has all the comforts needed for a large group or family gathering. Three master bedrooms, all with king beds and ensuite bathrooms, two queen guest rooms, one guest room with two twin beds, plus a large family den that includes twin bunk beds.

The property is a short 2.2 mile drive to Vail Village and Mountain, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, hiking, biking, walking through Betty Ford gardens or attend the free summer concert series at the Ford Amphitheater.

In-residence is a fully equipped professional kitchen with top of the line appliances: Wolf 8 burner gas stove, Subzero refrigerator and freezer drawers, 2 stacked Thermador ovens and 2 dishwashers on each side of the sunken farm sink. The dining area seats 10-12 comfortably with views of Vail Mountain and accesses the small deck for outdoor grilling. Relax in the comfortable living room with plenty of seating, gas fireplace, flat screen tv, game table for 2 or step outside on the deck, savor the views and gather around the fire pit. If you’d like a bit of quiet time, retreat to the private den just around the corner, which also has a gas fireplace, quiet reading space and a desk if you need a place to work or study during your stay. After a dip in the hot tub, gather downstairs in the oversized family room with flat screen tv, twin bunk beds, full bathroom and mini beverage refrigerator. The laundry is located on the top level, this expansive rental home has 9 beds that sleep 14 people comfortably. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided in the home for your comfort.

Extremely well designed and decorated mountain home, straight out of a magazine. There is such a feeling of abundance at this house, such a smart layout conducive to meaningful interaction, but also so much space and endless little details and places to go. Every room is an eyeful of design and thoughtful decoration, each its own environment to get lost in. Accessibility is great to Vail Village and grocery stores. We will definitely book this house again, absolute gem.

This house was a fantastic fit! Has amazing patios with mountain views, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, close to Vail Village, Grocery Stores, etc. There were even hiking trails just down the road from us that we utilized several times! Beds were comfortable and house was spacious for 3 families with kids from age 9-18!! Would definitely book the Sandstone house again! Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at 1148 Sandstone with a group from work. The house is extremely quiet and we felt right at home! We were even able to park 5 cars in the driveway. It worked great!

1148 Sandstone is a beautiful, spacious, warm and welcoming rental home. We were a party of 11 composed of three families and there was plenty of nice common space, as well as separate bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone very comfortably. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances to serve a house full of guests (and their guests!). It is helpful to have your own car, as the home is across the highway from Lionshead and Vail Villages. There is a Vail transport free shuttle bus stop located down the road from the home (not right out your door or right across the street though), and with ski boots and skis or other gear, the uphill walk home from the bus stop can be tiring at the end of the day. We opted to drive and park in the Vail or Lionshead parking lot each day. The home also has powerful and spacious jacuzzi that is another wonderful treat at the end of a day of skiing. The property managers Kris and Maureen were very helpful both before and during our stay. Bottom line, this is truly a beautiful family home where you can relax before or after your winter or summer activities in the Vail area, and you will be tempted just to skip your skiing or hiking just to spend the day enjoying the comfortable home and relaxing on the deck with beautiful views of the mountains in front of you!

The panoramic views from the living room were amazing. The place is exactly as the pictures shown on the website. The layout was perfect for large groups with three living areas. The bedrooms were well laid out and the kitchen was amazing with the two dish washers. The location was within 15 minute walk to Lionshead and on some days we took the bus back from town (bus stop is literally at the end of the street). What helped us most with the kids was the daily towel service!! The iTrip people were very helpful when we needed extra keys, arranging a full clean-up service etc. We definitely will be renting this place again when we come back in 2019!!

We had a great time at Sandstone 1148. The kitchen is well equipped with high standard appliances, ( only lacking a microwave oven) and there were plenty of seating areas where the family could gather and enjoy the awesome scenery, including a cozy terrace that overlooks the mountain in front of Lionshead and Cascade. The bathrooms are remodelled and clean. Rooms are confortable though some of the mattresses could be replaced. The maintenance team was diligent and courteous. Itrip service was outstanding. They were profesional and kind, and were eager to solve every request we had. We would definitely recommend this house for a large family or a special occasion with friends.

This mountain home is a delightfully decorated vacation retreat. There is so much room for a large family or multi-family group. The house was recently entirely renovated and has the charm of an older home but all of the luxuries of a well done new construction. Conveniently located for hiking or skiing in vail or beaver creek and a short trip to edwards.
