Winterwood Retreat is a tranquil Steamboat vacation rental location. This roomy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 1,604 sq. ft. townhome overlooks Burgess Creek and is ideally situated across the street from National Forest and the Creekside biking and hiking trail. The 3 level townhome has been remodeled with tile flooring, slate surround fireplace, quartz bathrooms and new carpeting throughout.

Enter on the middle level into a mudroom with a bench and storage for your gear. You are lead into the open, fully stocked kitchen featuring gorgeous granite counters, stainless steel appliances, refinished cabinets and counter seating (3 bar stools). Right off the kitchen is a spacious dining and living room offering ample, comfortable seating. Kick back on the brand new sofas (including a sleeper sofa) and watch the big screen TV or warm up by the brand NEW gas fireplace. Open the living room sliding doors and walk out to the covered deck overlooking Burgess creek and enjoy a coffee, cocktail or a meal in the serene surroundings. There is also a BBQ grill on the covered deck for year-round use. The main level has a full bathroom, including a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The Master suite sits on the top floor with vaulted ceilings, an attached bonus bedroom and a beautifully updated full bathroom, making it a perfect family set up. It offers a comfy king bed and a twin bed and trundle bed in the adjoining bedroom.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a bunk bed with two XL twin beds. It's on its own floor and right next to the in-home sauna!. There is a full bathroom on this level too.

Seclusion and privacy yet so close to the summer and winter recreation, along with the updated interiors makes Winterwood the perfect mountain retreat.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected

Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.

There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.

"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.

No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.

Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.

Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)

Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.

iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.

Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.

Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.

Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

We had a great time staying at this condo at Winterwood Retreat. The home had a good amount of space, 3 showers, and the sauna was fantastic. We also appreciated there were enough chairs for our whole group to sit around the table and eat together (something which can be hard to find in other stays). Thanks for hosting us!

We had a small group drive up from Denver to stay at the condo in Steamboat. We had a great time. The condo was stocked with what we needed for meals, everyone had a bed, and the common areas offered plenty of seating for everyone. The fire place was cozy and the patio/grill were a nice addition that you don't often get. The personal sauna was also a nice touch!

What a great place! Check-in and Check-out were super easy. The shuttle communication/communication with iTrip was super easy, all you have to do is text. They're quite accommodating with the shuttle service. The sauna was such a great perk to the place.

There was zero empathy from iTrip staff that what is to them a job was for us a disappointment in our family vacation. Broken appliances and no proactive attempts to resolve the issue translated to extra hours of work for my wife and I. The staff couldn’t even be bothered to provide a dish rack or sink plug. To make matters worse no attempt to remove the sludge water from the dishwasher were made and that drive a stench to appoint out housing. #Terrible

This was an amazing place to stay! It has everything that you could ever think of needing while you are on vacation. To our family, it was just like being at HOME! The check in process was nice and smooth. The communication with the owners (even before arrival) and even the rental company was fast and exceptional. I have to also mention that I was contacted the next day after arriving by Kai who was most helpful. This contact was to make sure that the check in process went smoothly and to see if there was anything that we needed during our stay. There was a small issue of us not knowing how to turn on the fireplace but after letting Kai know this, it was resolved in no time. So, thank you again Kai for taking the time out to help us figure that out. Your attentiveness, professionalism, patience and courteousness were greatly appreciated! The property location was great and the drive up to the property was scenic both during the day and night!!! We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the location was a lot closer to the mountain that we expected. It was also a plus for us to learn that the property is in somewhat of a secluded and quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There were also areas around the property for us to just play in the freshly fallen snow which in our eyes were perfect! The amount of room/ space for a family of 4 was more than we expected. The kitchen had more appliances, pots/pans, utensils than we could have ever imagined. My kids were even surprised with the "crockpot" that was available. Of course they mentioned that the only thing it didn't have was an "air fryer" but that's just because they were looking for something that the kitchen did not have. This place had more than enough of extra blankets, sheets, pillows, and towels for our family. Which was something that we definitely appreciated. Oh, and I cannot forget to mention that there was an abundance of paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher soap, sponges, and even toilet paper!! I definitely want to thank this place for having their "Magic Bag" vacuum pump available for use. This is because I accidentally forgot to bring ours with us so I was a bit worried on how I would re-seal our bags for our trip back home. So, thank you again for having this tool available for me use and re-seal our own bags for our trip back home. The only SLIGHLTY negative thing that we had to say about this place was that the two curtains in the living room did not completely cover the entire back sliding door. However, this was easily "fixed" by using a bed sheet to help cover this opening. This is DEFINITELY a place that every single member of our family agreed upon that we would love to stay here again while in Steamboat! Thank you again for having us and for also having everything we could have needed during our stay !

My wife and I spent four nights in Townhome #2. Check in was smooth and the property was exactly as advertised, No unwelcome surprises. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the location to the trails we hiked was perfect. If we visit Steamboat Springs again, we will contact iTrip and rent this same townhouse again.

Best part of the townhouse was its location, but even though it is within walking distance of the thunderhead lift, it is not a convenient walk in ski boots. The home itself was excellent, minus the cookware being in disrepair, but that should be an easy fix. Comfortable beds, great layout and plenty of room for two families. Would rent this unit again upon a return to steamboat.

Our trip was fantastic! Everything was provided that we needed, and more. I love how it was all labeled as well! And when we had problems with the fireplace, someone was there within 30 minutes trying to fix it. Great hospitality!

Great secluded place with beautiful scenery, and a creek running right behind the condo. We loved the back porch! About a 10 minute drive to downtown. iTrip staff was extremely helpful and responsive with any issues we had. Our only complaint (and this would not be an issue for everyone) was that we were traveling with our almost 2 year old toddler, and the place wasn’t exactly child proof. We brought our own safety gates for the stairs, but the balusters on the railing separating the stairs between the main floor and basement were spaced farther apart than what is considered safe by today’s standards (there was at least 6” between rails I would guess). Our toddler could have easily fit between the balusters and fallen downstairs. We used spare sheets to tie across the railing to keep that from happening, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The railings on the balcony were the same way. The property is also located up a fairly steep drive, so if you are planning on biking from the property, it would a pretty intense climb back up. We ended up driving our bikes into town to access some flatter bike trails. Other than that, though, we enjoyed the place and had a great time! Even got to see a bear walk right past our front door!

Lovely unit. Quiet, don’t hear any noise from adjoining unit. Very spacious with lofted ceilings. Three stories, so plenty of room to spread out. A nice patio that faces trees and the Burgess Creek which you can hear Bubbling in the background. Hiking trail head right across the street. Large parking lot with plenty of spots.

Great place! We were so thankful for everything provided by iTrips. There was dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, lots and lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There is plenty of room with lots of beds, two pull out couches, a bunk bed, another bed, a king bed, and a trundle bed. We had an amazing time in our home and are looking forward to booking with iTrips again.

The condo was very comfortable and had excellent access via buses to the slopes that run every half hour. One of the baseboard heaters seemed to be working overtime and I trust the management company will address this.

We (couple: husband and wife) stayed 3 nights in this great townhome. Quiet and comfortable says it all. Kitchen well stocked with needed items, all appliances worked great. Sofa's were perfect with good wifi. what more could you want. Baths were clean and modern, towels were soft and like home. Loved the outdoor grill (worked great). Only used upstairs master bedroom with king bed.Big room with all toilet items stocked well...even body lotion. Will be back as soon as possible and will rent this Townhome again.

What a beautiful private home away from home. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun! Enough room for more than one family and definitely kid friendly. The kitchen is well equipped ... we enjoyed having pizza and game night as a family. Lots of puzzles and games to play. There is plenty to explore around the property and close to town for shopping and dining out. We came during off season - and had the perfect setting to unwind and refresh. We have had an excellent experience. The condo was just as advertised. We use VRBO often to book vacation accommodations and this unit was the cleanest of all. The kitchen was well equipped as well. With 7 people in our party, the unit fit all our needs. We will be back!
