Pool Heating: In climates where average daily high air temperatures aren't sufficient to maintain the pool water at a swimmable temperature, a pool heater is required for comfortable swimming. In NE Florida we have days where we do not reach air temps that will allow the pool heaters to work properly. Because heat pumps transfer heat instead of generating it with combustion, they're most effective in climate zones where the average daily air temperatures during pool season are greater than 50 degrees F. During the winter months, it will be almost impossible to keep the pool temperature comfortable enough to swim as we have days where the temperature dips down into the 30-degree range. Please temper expectations based on the climate and avg weather temps for this region before booking.

POOL HEATING - Pool Heater Charges:

The pool heater is available only during the cold season. Oct 1 - April 30th.

The pool heater charge is $100 per week to be set at 80F (the standard is 78 or 80F with hotels for outdoor pools) starting at 10 AM and ending at 4 PM.


IMPORTANT & REQUIRED: Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital trust platform that enables Hosts, Operators, and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rental space.

Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.



- Primary Renter must be 25 or older

- We hope you have lots of laughter and fun times during your vacation! However, NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS, DJs or BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. Keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm. Please be respectful of the

neighbors at all time. No loud music/Quiet Hours 10PM-8AM

- No smoking/vaping. If any evidence of smoking/vaping is found there will be a $245 additional cleaning charge.

- No Pets.

- Maximum Occupancy - 7 Guests

- Pool does not heat when the outdoor temp is 60 degrees F or lower unless guest adds the option of pool heating (additional fee)

- No Garage Use

- Do NOT attempt to use or arm the security system. You could be charged a false alarm fee due to a police response.

These are all separate causes for eviction with no refund and may damage our ability to offer the home to future guests exposing you to liability.


Please note regarding the Canal:

We do not think it would be wise for you or your party to swim in the canal. There is no lifeguard on duty at any time. If you choose to swim in the canal, you are swimming at your own risk, and you agree to hold the homeowner, and property management company harmless from any injury you may incur.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, please be aware that cancellations must occur at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. If cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to arrival date all monies will be refunded with the exception of a $100.00 administrative fee.
No barbeque grills of any kind are permitted on balconies or in the unit. No open flames of any kind are permitted. Candle burning is NOT permitted on balconies or in the unit. Do not dismantle smoke detectors as they are there for your protection. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental, activation of the smoke detector alarm. No fireworks are permitted on premises.
Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted according to Florida Statute 508.141 with forfeiture of all monies.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of the reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.
No compensation will be given for the temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, internet, or telephone service. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on premises. Your damage deposit will be forfeited and you will incur an additional charge of $500 for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking or vaping is found.

This property does NOT allow any pets due to homeowner allergies. If any evidence of a pet is found, you will incure an additional $200 charge for extra cleaning and steaming.
Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises under the following circumstances: in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed-upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters, or contractors. The owner will provide the renter with at least 24-hour notice of the Owner's intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of 7, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interfere with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

iTrip nor the Owner is not responsible and is not in control of any actions of other adjacent property owners. No refunds will be given for adjacent construction noise or inconvenience. 
iTrip, VCJ Property Management or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage, or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does the owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss, or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, internet, electricity, or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. Tenant and all other occupants willingly occupy these premises.  In exchange for being allowed to occupy the premises, Tenant, on behalf of himself, his heirs, assigns, and descendants, agrees to the fullest extent permitted by law, to release and forever discharge  iTrip, VCJ Property Management or the Owner from any and all injuries, costs, damages, loss, death, or other claim or injury suffered of any nature whatsoever arising out of Tenant’s own negligence or gross negligence; the negligence or gross negligence of  the Owner, iTrip, VCJ Property Management or any of its employees, managers, principals, owners, representatives, agents, authorities, leaders, or other person affiliated with it in any way; and the negligence or gross negligence of any other occupant in connection with the stay whether that be prior to, during, or immediately after the stay. By agreeing to these terms, and in exchange for being allowed to stay on the premises, you further agree that you will indemnify iTrip and the Owner and hold iTrip, VCJ Property Management or the Owner harmless for any and all injuries, costs, damages, loss, or other claims made by all other occupants other than yourself arising out of or in any way caused by your actions undertaken in the course of your stay on the premises. Tenant understands that he/she does not have to stay on the premises and that without agreeing to these terms whereby he/she chooses voluntarily to waive any liability of iTrip and the Owner under the above terms, he/she will not be allowed to stay on the premises. The use of the premises is at Tenant's own risk.

Guests acknowledge they shall not leave the bbq grill unattended while in use to include heating the grill up. Any damage to the grill due to it being left unattended will result in a replacement charge of $300. Guests acknowledge they are responsible for cleaning the grill after each use. Failure to clean the grill will result in a $25 charge.
Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, internet connection, and stereos.
Parking at or on the premises is limited to three cars. No boats, jet skis, trailers, or RVs. If there are more than the allowed cars or there are unauthorized vehicles of any kind at or on the Premises, the Owner and/or the Owner’s Agent may tow or have the extra cars and/or unauthorized vehicles towed without notice at the Tenant’s sole expense.
Neither Manager or Owner will be responsible for Guest(s) personal property left behind or lost during the stay. If we are able to find an item left behind we are willing to ship it to the registered guest upon request. Shipping charges will be charged to the guest along with a $25 administrative fee. Items unclaimed will be held for a maximum of 14 calendar days at which time the Manager reserves the right to dispose of or may elect to donate the item(s) to a local charity.

To prevent theft of or damage to furnishings or your personal property, you agree to close and lock doors and windows when you are not present at the Property and upon check-out. Should you not be able to secure the Property, you should contact the Manager immediately.

Many different pests live and thrive in this part of Florida. This Property has been professionally treated by a commercial pest control company with precise and complete preventative treatments in an effort to keep all the pests and bugs outside. Should you experience a pest control issue, please contact Manager so that the Owner’s pest control company may attempt to eradicate the problem. Manager does not accept liability for unfortunate and seasonal visits of any wildlife including but not limited to rodents, insects, and sea life, and no refund or credit will be given related to such unforeseen events.
Linens & towels are provided. Excessive Stains, Damage or loss of the Linens will result in a $50 Charge.  An initial supply of paper products is provided. There is a $50 fee to restage the house if furniture is moved around and not returned to its original place.

  • Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests.
  • Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes!
  • In case of any accidental damage, we’ll look into the issue internally to decide if and how much the deduction or repair cost will be.

It was a lovely stay , although it did rain almost the whole time we were down. Uncontrollably situation with the rain. I would suggest putting tvs in the bedrooms. Other then that the home is beautiful and functional. Would I book again. Absolutely 👍

We have been traveling to southern Florida for many years and have stayed in many properties. On the recommendation of a colleague who knows the area and told us about this gem of a property, we tried Northeast Florida for our vacation. Sandfiddler was easily the best of all our vacation rental experiences, it’s like a private resort. The hosts were professional and accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met. They have thought of everything a guest would want, from snacks and coffee for our early arrival, to boogie boards and books for the beach and even a margarita machine! The house is exquisite - just as described, incredibly clean, perfect location, stunningly decorated in a beautiful and comfortable coastal style, and amenities to spare with a sparkling heated pool and serene waterfront. The place is a paradise and was ideal for our family to have a relaxing vacation. We kayaked and explored the canals, made it to the gorgeous nearby beaches, and the dock was perfect for tying up our jetskis and to sit and relax while we watched the sun go down. The Palm Coast area was new to us and is wonderful for biking, walking, coffee, and meals. Make sure to find your way to Swillerbee’s for coffee and donuts in the morning and the Ice Plant for cocktails and dinner one evening. Sandfiddler turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay and highly recommended when exploring St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, and the area! We loved it here and will definitely return!

It is spacious enough for the whole family and the best part is relaxing in the pool while having a view of the canal. I have to agree, Palm Coast is a great area to take vacation. You can horseback ride on the beach, swim with the dolphins, ride a bike or hike on over 125 miles of trails, rent a kayak and explore the waterways around the area or even take some surfing lessons. The house was perfect for our visit for a family Thanksgiving. It was within walking distance to our relatives. The house was very clean. It was well stocked with kitchen equipment. The only thing I would have liked was the ability to heat the pool, since the weather was still warm (60-70).

Thank you for the review. We are glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving at our Florence Court Pool Home. We are so sorry the pool was cold. We would have been more than happy to turn on the pool heater. There is typically a fee associated with this as it is an added cost to the electric bill. It takes a lot to heat the pool up especially when the air temperature was cold prior to your stay, dipping into the low 40's at night. Again, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay!
