Relax in this spacious, peaceful, ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condo sleeping up to seven in gorgeous Bear Trap Dunes, Ocean View, Delaware. 128E October Glory is a 2 minute drive to the Pavilion amenities including the pool, golf courses, tennis the restaurants and the bar. Bethany Beach is just 3.5 miles away and takes ten to twenty minutes by car during the summer. The master bedroom features a king bed and attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has one full size (double) bed, and one twin with a full bathroom just outside the room. The couch in the living room pulls out to a queen bed.
*Please bring your own linens and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. Linens and towels can be rented locally and delivered. We recommend Gale Force Rentals.
TVs are smart TVs with internet only. Please bring your Netflix, Hulu etc. passwords.
The kitchen is well stocked and updated with everything you will need to cook for up to seven people including a K-Cup and Drip coffee maker. The back screened in porch, living and dining areas are exceptionally spacious with plenty of room for the family or friends to spread out and enjoy their time together. There are no parking fees. Barbecuing is not permitted or available.
The amenities in Bear Trap (different than the free activities below) include 27 holes of championship golf course, restaurant and bar, multiple pools, four hard true and one hard surface tennis courts and multi sport courts, and playground. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor with plenty of umbrellas and lounges, kiddie pools, exercise classes, hot tubs and two saunas. The outdoor facility is beautifully landscaped, clean, immaculately maintained with lifeguards always on station at both. Both are very long with one lane always open for lap swimming. There is also a reading room, weight room and cardio exercise room. Staff are courteous and diligent.
The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges a per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee (currently $55 per person per week in season) varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests must purchase amenity passes at the Bear Trap Pavilion and be prepared to show a copy of their lease. At this time there is no shuttle to the beach. Parking in Bethany Beach does require payment. Please search the internet for details about "Bethany Beach parking".
Please note: The October Glory pool in front of the house is technically not available to renters. But the main pools at the Pavilion are.
Free Activities! Included with your booking are 8 different daily activities within 45 minutes of the home. You receive one free pass to every activity, per home, per day. Passes do not accumulate. Except for the golf, these free activities are not the same as the amenities at Bear Trap such as the pools, gym etc. **The golf IS part of the free package (one free round per day, per home). Instructions for taking advantage of the free activities are sent once your booking balance is fully paid.

- Guests must be 25 or older to book any property.
- Linens and Towels: We do NOT supply linens or towels. There are pillows and blankets. All mattresses have pads. Bring extra pool towels please. To rent linens and towels we recommend Gale Force Rentals in Oceanview.
- Check In / Check Out: 4p / 11a between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Noon/Noon during the off season. Please try not to arrive early or stay late without written consent from management. The cleaners have priority. But please do not go inside while the cleaners are there. If you have a problem with the cleaning, contact me immediately and I will address it.
- No smoking in the home please. If you smoke outside the home, please be sure to pick up after yourselves to avoid extra cleaning charges. Evidence of smoking anything inside the house or on the patio will incur extra cleaning fees.
- Wifi & Passwords: Passwords will be at the home or in your check in instructions. Sometimes you can find the PW on the router.
- Kitchens & Baths: Kitchens are well stocked with all necessaries to cook for the advertised occupancy - but few spices or paper goods. Please bring napkins, paper towels and toilet paper as well as any spices or oils you may wish to use for cooking. Starters will be there.
- Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
- Cleaning Supplies: Some cleaning supplies will be there for you to keep up on daily cleaning.
- Coffee Makers: Drip & Kuerig
- Washers and Dryers: All homes have them. Usually there is detergent around but we encourage you to bring your own.
- Cancellation: Most policies are pretty strict. We encourage the purchase of travel insurance, which is available from us or other vendors. Please consult your lease.
- Parking: There is ample parking for two vehicles.
- Chairs and Umbrellas: This home does not supply beach chairs or umbrellas.
- BBQ: No barbecuing is allowed on the property due to HOA rules.
- When you check out, please return anything you moved to its original position including all interior and exterior furniture, pillows, games, etc. Please check that windows are closed and that the AC is set to 72.
