This recently updated Bluffs Villa is located in the heart of South Beach at the tip of Sea Pines Plantation. 1697 The Bluffs, a 2BR / 2BA villa, is the perfect location for couples or families that want to have fun on Hilton Head. Whether you choose to spend a day at the beach - a 3 minute walk, or at the pool - a 2 minute walk or an excursion trip from the Marina - a 3 minute walk, or lunch, drinks, dinner at The Salty Dog Cafe - a 2 minute walk, you can park your car for the duration of your stay!

This 3rd level villa has been renovated with new flooring, furniture, paint, & bathrooms. The family room is set up for total relaxation with a sectional sleeper sofa and opens to a covered deck that allows for a peaceful morning or evening with family or friends. The comfortable dining area is perfect for the home cooked meals, or a great place to play games and enjoy your company.

The large master bedroom has a king size bed and an on-suite master bath with a walk in shower. The second bedroom is set up with two twin beds. The second bathroom is off of the main hallway and has a single vanity and shower over tub.

The sectional sofa in the family room opens to a Queen Size sleeper for the additional guests in this villa that sleeps six.

This clean and well taken care of villa has a stackable washer and dryer and a completely stocked kitchen with every thing you'd expect from a well appointed vacation rental.

The Bluffs Villa complex is not equipped with elevators and accessed by stairs only.

This South Beach location is one of the most sought after locations on Hilton Head - One stay in this villa and you will understand why guests love the Bluffs.

All of Low Country Coastal Rental Properties have both a drip and Keurig coffee maker. Each property will have kitchen towels, dish clothes or sponge, hot pads and starter supply of soaps, detergents, paper products and trash bags intended to only last a few days. Each bedroom and bathroom will have sheets & towels already on the beds, individual size soaps and shampoo and a hairdryer for your use.

House Rules:

No Smoking / No Pets - No Exceptions.

Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the home at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age. Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood. No parties, events or smoking of any kind.

IMPORTANT SEA PINES INFORMATION

Sea Pines is a private gated community with very specific rules and regulations. A few of the restrictions are listed below but please access seapinesliving . com to read and download the complete listing.

Motorcyles, Motorhomes, Recreational Vehicles, Trailers, Golf Carts, are not permitted in Sea Pines. Any nonconforming vehicle will be turned away by Sea Pines security.

No Weddings or events can be held on rental property premises.

BEACH PARKING for Sea Pines Beach Club. (Most guests access the beach directly across the street from Bluffs VIllas)

Due to limited parking availability at the Sea Pines Beach Club, the complimentary Sea Pines Trolley is available to take rental guests between designated stops and the Sea Pines Beach Club continuously during the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Between early March and Labor Day, rental guests will not be able to park at the Sea Pines Beach Club or Plantation Club overflow lot. More details can be found at seapinestrolley . com, and we will include information in the welcome packet provided with your reservation.

Sea Pines offers private beaches to all guests. By being private neither the town nor state can mandate closing to the public. This is especially important during times, as experienced with Covid-19, where the town closed public access beaches. Sea Pines remains open.

The property was clean, very well-kept, and suited us perfectly. We appreciated the amenities and the location, which was central to our school's tennis activities as well as the other social and recreational activities in Sea Pines. We also appreciated the beach gear/chairs that were included. Everything worked and operated as needed and we would definitely return to this rental. The only thing we might comment on for improvement is the mattress in the master - very soft and would love to see a more firm mattress, but that's a matter of preference and not a flaw with the unit. Thank you.

This is a great place to stay. Clean and it has anything you need. Loved how close to the beach it is and how it is not crowded at all. The communication with the property company was great and if i had any questions, they answered promptly. Would definitely love to stay at this property again.

Location allows easy access to all needs and activities from the beach to all things Slaty Dog. The unit is well appointed and comfortable and very well maintained. The unit layout allows for privacy as well as space for group activity. Highly recommend!

My wife and I thought that everything was as advertised. Everything worked. Great Internet and TV. Everything was clean - which is very important to us. It was right next to the Salty Dog shops and the beach. We really enjoyed the elevated Adirondack chairs with attached table in between on the balcony. We would stay again!

We recently spent a week at 1697 The Bluffs. It was terrific. We had everything we needed. The property was just perfect for us. From our balcony we could see the beach through the beautiful live oak tree. It was a short walk to the beach, and we saw pods of dolphins! The Salty Dog was our favorite place to go for a relaxing time and a drink in the evening. It was a pleasure dealing with Peter Moersen at Low Country Coastal Rentals. He was prompt in responding to my questions. Not only do I highly recommend it, but we also hope to come back.

We had the best time during our stay at the Bluffs Villas! The condo was wonderfully maintained and cozy. The location couldn’t have been more perfect - we were able to walk over to South Beach marina to rent bikes, boat, and access the pool. I can’t recommend this rental enough!

We had a great experience. The place was spacious and comfortable and the overall rental/arrival process was well organized. Also worth noting it was peaceful and quiet during our entire stay. There is beach access just across the street, which was ideal for us, and you can easily hop on the bike path.

Although my kids have stayed in Air BnBs before (I'm using the term generically), for my wife and myself this was our first experience. The unit we booked in Hilton Head was exactly as described. A lovely master bedroom, a second bedroom, a good sized living room/dining room with a table for 6, 2 couches and an easy chair. There was also a a small, but well equipped kitchen, which also had a washer dryer unit. We were 5 adults, and felt very comfortable. The unit is located a 3 minute walk to the beach on the sound; and with another 10 minute walk, one can arrive to the Atlantic-facing beach. The property management company, Low Country Rentals, was a pleasure to deal with. Peter was very responsive to emails and phone calls. (To clarify, we only had questions for Peter; there were no issues to solve.)

This was our first stay in Hilton Head and we will be back! Our condo had everything we needed including boogie boards, beach chairs, comfortable beds, TV’s in every room, fully stocked kitchen and close to the beach. We saw dolphins every day and amazing wild life. We recommend renting bikes to bike on the beach or get to Tower Beach for sunrise. So close to Salty Dog Cafe, shopping and ice cream. Please know this condo is not handicapped accessible.

The condo was exactly as described. Very clean, great updates to the inside, incredibly easy to coordinate our stay and get into the condo, and the location is unbeatable! It's a 2 minute walk to the Salty Dog and the rest of the South Beach Marina, and the beach is 2 minutes away with beach path being directly across the street! I would definitely stay here again.

The renovation that was done on this condo was very nice. It has nice finishes. The king size bed was very comfortable. The sofa was comfortable. The unit had everything we needed. Very short walk to shops around The Salty Dog. We would stay there again.

Beach toys/gear, well-equipped kitchen for simple cooking, and two separate bathrooms make this a great place to stay for a family of four. Walk to quick shop, ice cream, and restaurants, Golf and yummy C'set Bon Bakery (outdoor shaded bench for dining) are a 10 minute drive. Both great for social distancing. Private beach for only residents makes social distancing easy. Recommend grabbing groceries coming in because big retailers are all 20+ minutes away. Kroger, Whole Foods and Target all have curbside pickup.

This villa was absolutely perfect. This was our first time to Hilton Head and we did not know what to expect. The location of the villa is perfect just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the pool. The villa is beautifully updated and super clean! I literally don't have any complaints! Even the neighbors were super nice! The owner was very good about getting back to me and was very kind. We hope to come back every year!

We were here in the second week of August. Excellent location very well kept condo. All basic amenities were provided by the host. It is indeed 3-4 minutes walk to the water. We traveled with kids and they loved every bit of it. You could go for water sports to Harbor Town which is less than 15 minutes drive, fishing boats within Sea Pine, literally 5-7 minutes walk to Salty Dog Marina. Entire Resort by itself is an amazing experience. Nice evening vibe within 5 minutes .

We had a wonderful trip! The only issue we really had was the sheets staying on the king size bed. The fitted sheet was too small. We got a replacement sheet but it was the exact same size and didn’t work either. The router went out once and that was an easy fix but it also caused the air to turn off for a few hours. Other than that everything was great! Thanks again!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Nice condo. My only suggestion would be that kitchen might be little better equipped. Bit as I said, overall we thoroughly enjoyed. And Peter was excellent!!

We’ve visited Hilton Head many times over the years and this is by far the best location we have stayed. We were able to walk to the beach where it is quite and secluded. If you want a busy beach you can take the trolley to The beach club. We walked to ice cream, dinner and breakfast easily. The townhome is nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. While the kitchen isn’t updated like the baths, this was a none issue for us as we did dinners out- would be fine to cook in but it is small therefore plan accordingly. Sea Pines is a beautiful plantation in Hilton Head- this location is hard to beat!

Our stay at the Bluffs was wonderful. The condo was clean and in a great location to the beach. They have a printed version of the online information packet that they email to you. It was very helpful in finding places to eat and activities to go do. Set in the beautiful Sea Pines area of HHI, we enjoyed our morning walks around this beautiful community. This is definitely a place that could easily become a second home.

This condo was a great fit for our three weeks on HiltonHead. The cleanliness, the location and the size couldn’t have been any better. The only small issue we had was the WiFI kept going out and my husband was working from the condo the whole time we were there. I am sure it had to do with the complex not the unit.

Very clean! Great location - walking distance to Salty Dog, music, pool, bike rental, tennis courts. Easy bike ride to multiple beach access paths. We brought 3 boys, 11, 14, 15. Plenty of space for a few days. We appreciated the white sheets and towels, hardwood/tile floors, simple checkout procedures, washer/dryer. Updated bathrooms, also clean! Quiet location on top floor. We will definitely be back and would love to rent again!

We had such a great time in this condo. It was very nice and CLEAN, which is always important!! Plenty of room for everyone and the beds and couch were very comfy. We were steps away from the beach and amazing sunsets and Salty Dog was just around the corner. We've come to the island plenty of times but this stay was really nice to feel somewhat tucked away in the back of Sea Pines. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for something off the beaten path!!

Located a short walk or bike ride to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops, water sports, etc. It was clean and comfortable with everything needed for our weeks stay. My wife and I rented the Bluff Villa and it was very well appointed and very clean. This villa is very convenient to South Beach area and the public beach. The only concern was being on the third floor without an elevator. This was not an issue since they were half floors. Also Peter was very responsive!!!

The villa was just what we needed. It was very clean and perfectly located. Close to Salty Dog, shopping, tennis, and beach. When we had a problem with the TV's Peter was quickly there. He was very personable and gave great recommendations for dining also. We would love to come again!

Our family of 4 loved our villa at the Bluffs. It was very roomy for all of us and was clean, well-decorated, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. We had family also staying at the Bluffs on the 1st floor of another building. It was nice, but not nearly as bright as our 3rd floor apartment. We especially loved the very short walk to the marina, pool and the beach. This made going back and forth very easy with our 5 year-old. It also helped to rent a wagon to haul beach chairs and a cooler. Definitely take advantage of the beautiful bike trails at Sea Pines and enjoy the pizza and ice cream at the marina. There's no doubt that we will visit again, and thank you to Peter M for all the help!

Would have given it 5 stars, however it's on the top floor and there is no elevator and that was not disclosed to us. Being in our 70's it was difficult to do the stairs everyday and especially difficult when bring in and out luggage, etc. Need to disclose that to future renters.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Nicely decorated. Immaculate. Had everything we needed! Right across a lightly traveled road from the beach and walking distance from The Salty dog and a few shops. Highly recommend that you park your car and rent bikes during your stay. Beautiful bike paths can take you anywhere!
