Our beaches have reopened and visitors can't wait to get back to the island they've chosen for years and years for their vacation!

Brand new to the vacation rental market, this adorable apartment on the southern end of Estero Island is one of two units in a newly updated beach house duplex just off Estero Boulevard. (Both units are available to rent, please contact us if you are interested in renting both units, or search listing VRBO #9857861ha for more information.) This listing is for the unit on the LEFT, which sleeps up to 8 guests; the unit on the right sleeps up to 8.

Exterior stairs lead you up to the 2nd level, where the apartment is located. Inside you'll find almost 1,500 square feet of living space. The open living and dining room are decorated in a bright, whimsical style - leaving no doubt you're on island time. The updated furnishings are family friendly and the living room features a large Vizio Smart TV with streaming channels (guests must provide their own logins.)

Lovely updated kitchen features full size refridgerator/freezer, oven, dishwasher and microwave. All cookware, dinnerware and many kitchen tools and small electrical appliances are included.

Two bedrooms on the main level include a primary suite with king bed and an ensuite bathroom with combination bathtub/shower

2nd guest bedroom has a queen bed

Shared guest bathroom has a combination bathtub/shower

Stairs lead up to the lofted space where there is an open 3rd guest sleeping area with 2 twin beds

All bedrooms contain new memory foam mattresses, Insignia Smart TV's with streaming channels and overhead ceiling fans - including the loft

Beautiful, fully screened balcony runs behind the home; the balcony is shared between the two units, but each space is visually divided with a partial privacy divider screen. Comfortable outdoor seating, dining table and overhead fans create a delightful space to enjoy.

Bed linens, bath, beach and kitchen towels are provided

Free unlimited Wifi is included throughout the home

Electronic door locks allow you to come and go without keys to keep track of

2 under-the-building parking spots, per unit

Underneath the home, behind the parking area, you'll find a fully screened recreation space that is shared between the two units. Each side has it's own dining table and each side has the exclusive use of 4 complimentary bicycles to cruise around the island with. The rest of the items are shared between the two units, on a first come, first serve basis. These items include:

Zero gravity lounge chairs

Ping pong table

Assorted outdoor games

The property is located on a quiet residential street on the Bay side of the island. The private setting backs up to a boardwalk that meanders through a beautiful stand of Mangroves to a dock/captains walk on a canal that feeds off of the Estero Bay which leads directly out to the Gulf. From the dock you can try your hand at fishing (you must provide your own fishing gear).

Public beach access #13 is just a quarter mile walk from the property. There you will find the Gulf, where you can sun, play, swim, enjoy sunrise runs along the beach, and dazzling sunsets at night. Several beach resorts are currently offering day passes so you can spend a day or two enjoying their pools and other beachfront amenities.

Many on-island restaurants/bars have re-opened, food trucks are popping up, and the island's Publix grocery store is now open again. Although we recover a little more each and everyday, following Hurricane Ian some of the Island's services and amenities are currently limited, for the most up-to date information, please refer to https://www.visitfortmyers.com/beach-conditions & https://www.fortmyersbeach.org/whos-open-for-business/ for more information.

When you aren't enjoying the beach, you can drive south off the island to Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island; north off the island you'll find the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Island; you'll also want to visit revitalized downtown Fort Myers - a great spot for dining and nightlife. Fort Myers is also home to multiple public golf courses and the Spring Training facilities of the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox. Nearby Coconut Point and the Miromar Outlets are great shopping and dining destinations; and we can't leave out the tony Waterside shops and 5th Avenue in Naples - fun whether you shop, eat or just look! Take a day to trip to the Florida Everglades for some alligator spotting on an exhilarating airboat ride. Southwest Florida truly does have a little something for everything!

This property is approximately 25 miles from RSW International Airport.

Our cleaning/housekeeping fees vary based on size of property, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, pool patio homes, garages, etc. They typically range between $125-$325 based on the aforementioned.

The booking fee is $89. 
 
Airbnb does not currently allow hosts to itemize these fees on their site which is why we'd like to explain what otherwise appears to be an excessive cleaning fee expense.
