"The Adventure in Evergreen" is a spacious, mountain home offering panoramic views of iconic, majestic Colorado mountains. The home is located on a scenic drive that goes to Echo Lake and Mr. Evans Scenic Byway. This is a pretty quiet neighborhood, with only 4 houses on the street.

You will love our fully-equipped kitchen! Plenty of space to prepare a meal from simple to gourmet. There is a BBQ grill on the back deck and a fifth bedroom with a full bath and kitchenette!

Relax upstairs in front of pellet stove fireplace or downstairs in front of the pellet stove - perfect for chilly evenings together. The down stairs has a bar, as well as, a ping pong table. Great for family tournaments. Don't forget about the third level that has a wide screen television and lot's of space to watch the game.

You must try the hot tub located on the lower patio of the house. This hot tub offers the same views as the living room and upper deck

Don’t want to be inside? Perfect! There is an upper balcony & lower patio, offering optimal outdoor living spaces. Hiking & cycling (road & mountain) – are incredible & easily accessible. Bring your hiking boots & bike(s)! It is a wonderful place to take a walk in the morning or at dusk, when you are most likely to run into our most populous neighbors - the elk, deer, & the occasional red fox. They're beautiful, majestic & look harmless. But it's not advisable to try to pet or feed them.

__

Charming, historic “downtown” Evergreen is a quick drive from the house. Settled in 1859, it retains much of its old west charm. Dining options are a plenty as well as wonderful & unique shopping, music, galleries, & nightlife.

__

Just down the road is the picturesque Elk Meadow Park, aptly named b/c if you're there early in the morning or at dusk, you'll likely see elk leisurely grazing. Go for a beautiful hike through the park, or up the mountain to Bergen Peak, a moderately challenging climb.

__

Evergreen Lake is nearby & offers a day's worth of activities, in any season. In winter, there's skating, ice fishing, & cross-country skiing. If you visit over New Year's, celebrate by roasting marshmallows by firelight, gazing at ice thrones, & watching the falling ice star & fantastic firework display at midnight. In summer, enjoy fishing, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing & more... Rent boats, kayaks, or paddle boards at the lake (or paddle boards at Big R). There's also a music festival, w/ free music on Wed. nights.

__

Depending on when you visit, we've got the Bluegrass Festival, Jazz Festival, Music at Myers Ranch Concerts, Rodeo & Parade held on Fathers' Day weekend, and NOW - THREE wonderful craft breweries, right in Evergreen - Evergreen Brewery, Lariat Lodge, & El Rancho!

__

Mount Evans is a short drive away – visible from the house! Hike a 14-er (or drive up North America's highest paved road!), rock climb, ice climb, or just enjoy the alpine beauty.

__

Red Rocks Amphitheater is 20-mins away down "the canyon road". Besides being a great concert venue, it's gorgeous, & ideal for hiking.

Fantastic home

The home was well appointed and had everything you need: toiletries, dish soap, etc. The views are beautiful, the furnishings were nice, the beds were very comfortable. The host was very accommodating. Thank you!

Great Trip
5/5 stars
We had a group a 3 couples (6 adults) traveling to see a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater and wanted to stay somewhere with a mountain feel. This place did not disappoint!! Great views of the valley and tons of local hiking. We chose to hike Chef Mountain which boasted amazing 360 degree views of the mountains. (2-3 hr hike) We visited close by Idaho Springs great local shopping and BlackHawk for casino time. This cabin was a short fun drive to any where you needed to go. If you are seeing a concert in Morrison or just want a great cabin centrally located I highly recommend staying here.

Cabin in the mountains
5/5 stars
The cabin was awesome the location was perfect, my family was very happy with the cabin and with how clean it was.. I have to say Bryan does a good job overseeing the house an responding if there is a problem which there wasn’t.. I rate this property 5 star an will definitely be going back next year… only problem we had with the CABIN is we didn’t stay long enough…lol but thanks Bryan will see u next year buddy ???

Stunning Views!
4/5 stars
The location was idyllic. The views were absolutely incredible! The space was perfect for our large group of 8. We say deer and elk during our stay on our walks up the mountain. For future renters, the only items I would want to know is there were a few issues with cleanliness and the amenities are rock bottom. If you are thinking of bringing it, but not sure if you will need it - you will. They don't even supply enough TP for your stay (which I have never encountered before at a short-term rental or hotel stay - and we vacation frequently). I do have to say it did not detract from our trip as we had a phenomenal vacation in this beautiful location! I do recommend!

We loved our stay in this house. We rented it for a family wedding at Evergreen Lake. This home has the ‘Wow’ factor as soon as you walk in with its amazing views. The family room areas on each level are large and comfortable. Access to wedding weekend activities were easy to get to in 10-15 minutes, as well as other sight seeing adventures. Be ready to see amazing wildlife along the roadside as you leave this house in to town, there are large elk and deer that enjoy grazing in the area, so have your cameras ready! Bryan was very helpful throughout the whole process and very quick to respond. We highly recommend this house and can’t wait to come back!!

Amazing Getaway
5/5 stars
Absolutely amazing views, comfortable environment, well stocked, and a truly relaxing get away. The property owner was communicative and the listing was accurate. This is the perfect house for a multi-family retreat and only 15 minutes from town. The house has everything you need & more. WiFi worked great and we were able to stream on multiple devices. Can't wait to go back someday.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway Home
5/5 stars
We rented this home to enjoy family time as we celebrated our grandson's high school graduation. The home is beautiful. The kitchen is well-appointed. We had four generations in this home including my parents who are in their 80s. They loved the bedroom on the main level and felt like they were living in luxury. We enjoyed the full length patio every morning while enjoying our coffee, allowing us to see wildlife and the amazing beauty around us. Bryan is extremely responsive and accommodating and responded within minutes when we had questions. My only recommendations are 1) arrive fully hydrated and keep drinking significant amounts of water. This is a high altitude home so hydration is key. 2) If you need to explore the area using google maps, download the maps prior to leaving the house as once you get out of the home range, you will have no cell or wifi service. I highly recommend the home and its surrounding beauty.

Above and beyond customer service
5/5 stars
We REALLY enjoyed our stay in Evergreen! Not only because of the amazing cabin and location, but also because of the outstanding customer service. Bryan was very helpful and prompt with responses to our inquiries. On the last day of our stay, 20 inches of snow dumped on us and we were concerned about our ability to get out of the long and windy driveway in time to catch our flight. Bryan himself came out and helped shoveled a path for us to drive through. We will definitely be utilizing iTrip Vacations for our next Colorado adventure.
