Our family of seven has been coming to this house five years running. While it's not as spectacular in appearance or amenities as other nearby homes, its prime location (less than a block to the beach), accommodation of dogs, and plentiful parking is a huge plus for our four-car, two-dog family. This year we stayed for two weeks instead of our usual one week visit, and we'll probably be back next year, too. Jeremy is very responsive, the house is comfortable, and you just can't beat the location if you have to bring your dog on vacation with you!

Our family of 8 and 1 dog loved the house and the location was ideal. We could easily walk to the boardwalk which my Grandaughters loved. We also found the house well equipped and very clean. The easy walk to the beach was terrific. The manager from the rental company ,Jeremy, was responsive and very helpful . Great Customer service! Would love to return!

We had a very nice week here with family. Town is bustling with many choices, and about a :15 walk away. The beach was very nice, pretty close, about ten minutes. Must pay for parking in town, but we rarely took the car. Home was fine, with a well-stocked kitchen, and good air conditioning during a very hot July week. A top floor porch to look around, and an outdoor shower and foot-hose. Would stay here again; the July 4 fireworks were just great with our close seat. Beach got crowded/busy, but could still find a spot.

All in all we really loved this house. It was spacious enough to accommodate our large family and really well equipped. The beach and town were a short walk. Our only problem was that on the first day we noticed that the dishwasher was not working. We contacted our iTrip contact Jeremy (who was awesome) to report the problem. He contacted the owner who was supposed to get back to us to triage the issue. He never called us and we never had a working dishwasher. That's not cool considering the number of people we had in the home. We were finally notified on our last day of vacation that a repair service was coming. I was really disappointed. For what we paid, I expected at least better communication from the owner. This would be a 5 star rating if it weren't for this issue.

We just had a great week at Bethany and found the house had everything we needed. From the photos, things look a bit dated but the interior was nicer than expected. Plenty of room for the 2 families on the trip, and the single floor layout worked well to keep an eye on the littlest ones. My only complaints are the soft beds (by the end of the week our backs were killing us) and the lack of room darkening blinds in the bedrooms.

The house worked out quite nicely. I was glad we had the extra parking in the back, the kitchen was very well supplied, and the LR/DR/sunroom was spacious enough for the whole bunch. It was just a short walk to the shops on Garfield Parkway, and everyone was happy with how close we were to the beach, especially those with little ones. We never could figure out how to get the 2 bunk rooms comfortable enough at night without freezing the end bedroom. The spiral staircase should probably be replaced, and several of the wooden posts on the stairway handrail were loose. The only other thing - it seemed like whenever the water was turned on or a toilet flushed, the lights flickered. That was kind of weird. We were lucky to find such a nice place that was close to the beach, allowed the dog, and had enough bedrooms and baths for my whole family. Even the approaching Hurricane Jose didn't dampen our fun.

We were a family group of 3 generations, age range 23-83. We also had our 2 family dogs with us. This home was great for us. The grandparents did fine on the stairs to the home. Everyone loved being so close to the beach and town. We walked everywhere. There was plenty of parking. Inside the home we had lots of room to spread out and feel comfortable- we were not on top of each other. The kitchen, dining and living area is open and spacious. There is everything you need and then some for any and all cooking you might want to do. We opened the windows and enjoyed the ocean breeze and the cool evenings. It was great to be able to bring our family dogs- they are mature and settled and just enjoy being with the family. We hope to have another family reunion at the beach and would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location, space, the fact that it had 5 bedrooms & lots of beds. It was the most well supplied kitchen of any rental I have ever had. Lots of space to park several cars too! I also loved that I could take my dog with me! Not happy that the house had not been cleaned, 1 toilet wasn't working, wifi didn't work all week, and TV in sun room only worked the first 1.5 days.

Loved the entire week especially the crows nest. Had coffee in the morning and some late night cocktails up there. Very spacious and loved the multiple bathrooms. Only complaint was the matresses were very soft. Other than that wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for sharing your home. Mike Carey

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was perfect. It was close enough to to the beach and boardwalk to walk, and far enough for peace and quiet. We had our extended family all there to celebrate my in-laws 50 the wedding anniversary! Plenty of space, beds, and bathrooms! The outside showers are great! My only complaint was that the air conditioning couldn't keep up. We did call Jeremy and he had someone come out the next day. Also, there was a storm that knocked out the TV. The TV never got fixed, and someone did come for the AC, it needed to be charged. Things happen, but one of the perks of this place was the DISH TV. My father in law is 77 and likes to watch TV when it's too hot to stay outside. Also, I felt the rate was fair for the location and accommodations, but if I'm paying $4000/week, it would be nice if the AC is checked before I get there. Other than that, we enjoyed this house very much. We spent time outside grilling and enjoying the covered area under the deck. We had coffee every morning on the roof top. It was a wonderful vacation.

This property is great if all you are looking for is the very basics "no frills". It is close to beach (reasonable walk) but you really can't see or hear it; it provides enough bathrooms for a large group and outdoor showers are great. Lots of parking on property for guests. Major issue is if you have very hot days during your stay AC does not keep up with the heat. Also watch out for poison ivy growing around back of house!

We had a great time for our week at the beach. The only issues were the washer being broken and not replaced till Wednesday of the week, only 2 blankets for the 10 beds ( we knew to bring linens, but didn't expect to need blankets as well), and there was a brick holding up one end of one of the beds that we constantly hit our feet on. Despite all this we were able to have a nice time , very nice to be so close to the beach .

The house absolutely met our needs. Plenty of space for a multi-family visit and terrific access to the beach and plenty of parking for our vehicles. The A/C and appliances all worked great and the house was well equipped for meal prep and relaxation. We felt the price was appropriate - a bit cheaper than more modern houses, but a very nice stay all-around.

For our family of 7 plus two small dogs, this house met all of our needs. The kitchen is a little quirky (not a drawer to be found), but perfectly serviceable. The location is fantastic. In our previous 15 years of summering in Bethany Beach, we have stayed on the western side of the highway. It was fantastic being able to walk into town and to the beach. On beach days, we saved a lot of money by being able to walk back to the house for lunch or to go to the bathroom. Not having to worry about beach parking, or about arranging transportation to and from the beach, made for a much more relaxing time together. The 4-person limit on wireless access was occasionally a problem, since there were so many of us. We inexplicably lost all wireless access on Friday, but we were away from the house for most of the day, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Jeremy, the rental agent, is very responsive and helpful. We hope to rent this house again!

117 4th avenue in Bethany is wonderfully accommodating for a large gathering of adults and kids. The common area has plenty of space for dining and relaxing. Minor issues besides leaky disposal and condition under the sink (rusting cans, crud, wet wooden bottom): -WiFi didn't extend to rooms in the back -Dryer lint trap is VERY difficult to manipulate -- it's distorted from attempts to remove and replace it -The clothes line poles appear to be ready to topple over and the growth under the lines make them almost inaccessible

We had a wonderful time sharing the house with our sister's families. We were happy to take our dog. There was a dog park nearby. The neighborhood was very friendly. The house location was perfect. We also went to Ocean City and Rohobith. It was bigger than we thought and had room for 6 cars. It needs some minor wear and tear repairs, mostly the deck railing. However, everything was in working order.

Enjoyed the house, especially the 2 outdoor showers and rooftop deck. There is plenty of room for 4-5 cars. We had a great time -- the house was great being so close to the beach. The house has a large entertaining area. Each of the master bedrooms have a private bathroom. All of the rooms were spread out, so you couldn't necessarily hear the room next to you. All were a good size.

Easy to access the home and leave the home in the first and last day. Instructions were easy to follow and made the whole process easy. The house had adequate rooms to allow the whole family togetherness and privacy at the same time. The layout of the house was excellent and no one was getting each others way. Having four bathrooms was a blessing along with the 6 showers with the large family. Being 1/2 block from the beach made it easy to get to the beach, plus it was only a short walk to town center. The house added to the pleasure of being at the beach.

For the most part we were satisfied with our rental mainly because of the location, the abundance of bathrooms and space for our group of eleven. Only one road to cross to the beach, which was very light in traffic, probably because it was the last week of august. There was plenty of space for the teenagers to have their own space while the adults could relax in peace. Plus we were two blocks to the boardwalk and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We had three main issues. First, the house is very outdated, two of the bathrooms, the kitchen and carpets specifically could use updating. The rooftop deck was nice but it was a bit scary getting up there and you could not lean on the railings as they were very loose. Lastly, the house seemed either very moldy or not very well cleaned after some pets had stayed because we were all suffering from allergies during our stay. There was a considerable amount of hair on the couch in the sun room which we had to cover with a blanket so we could sit. I would have rated a three if it wasn't for the location and amount of space. If the house was updated we would gladly return.

The house was conveniently located only one block from the beach and about 6 blocks to town center. We loved the single floor layout of the living spaces conveniently adjacent to the 5 bedrooms. the kitchen was very well equipped with an open space design between the kitchen, dinning and living room areas, that made our time together very enjoyable. Everything worked fine except for the dryer, which had to be run twice to get some things dry. Everyone agreed that the Furniture was comfortable for the most part except for the mattresses, which were not all that comfortable to sleep on. All in all, a good value for the price!
