The Seawind condo at the beach was perfect for a vacation and family get together. The 3 bedrooms, kitchen, deck and having a washer/dryer were handy. Being on the beach was great and close to other places to walk was an added feature.

We had 2 families with teens (16 & 13) and small kids (7, 4, & 2). The unit was great. It was well-maintained and as advertised. The view was great from the balcony - the kids ate out there multiple time and I ate breakfast on it daily. The unit had plenty of tv's for everyone to watch what they wanted, even on DVD!! The washer/dryer were awesome and allowed us to pack less! There were plastic plates & cups for the little kids, which was great. The biggest downside to the condo (as others indicated) are the elevators. We often had to wait through multiple elevators before being able to get on one. As a result, people tend to be rude and cut in front of you if you aren't aggressive. If the unit weren't on the 9th floor and transporting beach stuff, groceries, etc. I would have walked the stairs a lot to avoid the elevators. Getting all of our stuff in initially was a complete beating!! The property was extremely well-maintained. We saw multiple members of the very friendly and courteous staff every day cleaning the rinsing areas, the grills, the elevator lobby, etc. The beach was a bit crowded for my personal preference, but it was the peak of summer and it wasn't so crowded that you couldn't find a spot. I chose to go down early and put our umbrellas and chairs out to get a choice spot! We loved the keypad system rather than keys so that all of us could come/go without having to bother with passing a key back and forth. Wifi was a bit slow. I don't think you could work from the condo, but we could access social media, Google, etc. The property has a workout facility, although we didn't use it since dragging everything to and from the beach was enough of a workout! They also had a kiddie pool and an indoor/outdoor pool, which the kids really enjoyed. There was also a hot tub, which we didn't use but saw lots of others that did! The condo does need to add a dustpan to the equipment though as we liked to keep the sand swept up! Overall, a good choice!!

So glad you enjoyed your stay and the unit meet all your needs and expectations! The view is certainly great from the balcony and it is spacious for enjoying family time together. Glad to hear the unit had all of the comforts of home. I am sure the elevators work over time during the high season. Waiting can be the normal for this time of year. The complex is an excellent facility. The management team work diligently to provide a pleasing environment for the guest. I don’t believe that anyone has ever commented on the Wifi so we will look into that matter. Thank you so much for keeping the sand swept up, as you know being at the beach it is hard to get around that issue. I can make sure a dustpan is included. Again glad you were pleased with the choice you made.

Unit 905 is amazing; every detail well thought out; cute warm and cozy. The owners theme of the crab decor was bravo! Now heights do bother me; but the view is wonderful and let's face it that why you are there. The unit says its 2 bedroom but really it's 3 the third room has a bunk beds with a full on the bottom, twin on the top. Only set back is I love to cook and they have one of those glass worthless cutting boards, no real chef knife and a large frying pan. These are items I typically take; but forgot this time. Overall a delightful charming unit with wonderful touches of a well thought out theme.

Myself, mother and my two kids (ages 10 and 3) had a great family vacation at Seawind! From the spectacular view, close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, etc. it was the perfect location. The bedrooms were very spacious and the updated kitchen offered everything you would possibly need for cooking (with the exception of spices). I was concerned about finding a rental that would be easy for my mother to navigate due to depth perception issues. But the elevator, luggage carts and the boardwalk that ran straight into the beach, all provided easy access for her with little concern about tripping and falling. I know other reviews have mentioned the delay in getting an elevator however, we did not find it to be an inconvenience. You have to take into consideration that the building has 18 stories or so of vacationers, just like yourselves, all coming and going from the beach and shopping at any given time. We would definitely stay here again!
