Located in Gulf Shores, Island Tower #1202 is a beautifully decorated, spacious three bedroom that has everything you need to get into a relaxed mood: a view of the beach and the Gulf from the 12th floor, a deep breezy balcony that fronts on the beach and two bedrooms (including master) with glass wall/sliding doors to the balcony. Each spacious bedroom has its own bathroom, the master has a large shower stall separate from the jet-tub. All rooms have ceiling fans, too!

When you first walk in, you'll remark how big the living spaces are! The fully appointed kitchen is open and spacious and is only separated from the living/dining area by a big granite bar with seating for four. The living room has a cozy sofa and loveseat that face the water. There are televisions and DVD players in every bedroom and the living room, which also has a stereo system.

The building has only 3 units on each floor so that you're not sharing everyone else's party. For play outside of the unit, there is a fenced playground with slides, etc., and two pools, (one horizon pool on the beach, the other is inside upstairs). The fitness room, complete with machines and weights, looks out onto the beach, too. Restaurants, groceries, a water park and spas are all within a 5 minute drive.

Wireless internet access. Maximum of two cars.

Julie who helped us with a scheduling problem was great. She pushed our in time up 2 hours a great help!!! The condo was great no issues. We had all we needed for comfort. Things that would be helpful, on the "make sure you bring" list add hair dryer!!! Would have been great to know, had to buy one. Kitchen fine , could have used some kind of large bowl, none. And for upper neighbors maybe some one could suggest some chair foot pads, when they drag the chairs across the tile...Wow its load!!! All in all it was great, I'll be back. Just those couple suggestions. Truly thanks to Julie for helping us out!!! If there were some kind of out reach program for left over food or sun products. Also please please a recycling system!!! Painful to throw things away.thx

The view was absolutely amazing; although I was pleased with the room, but I have a few complaints. The closet in the master bedroom smelled of strong cat urine. I bought Febreeze and sprayed the carpet, but I could not get rid of the cat odor. Also, the dishwasher would not drain. When we left, there was water standing in the bottom. On Tuesday, they called and asked us if they could show the condo, as the owner is selling it. I could not believe that they would ask such a question, considering we paid to rent the condo. On Wednesday, a plumber showed up at the door and asked to check something on the ice maker. I would not recommend renting a condo that is for sale. When someone is paying to stay in a room, they do not want constant disruptions. Sincerely, Joanie Graham

This was by far one of the best condos my family has stayed in. We usually travel to Gulf Shores the first of May for my daughters track meet and out of the four years we have come this one was the best. There was more than enough space for my family, my sisters family and my mother in the tree bedroom condo. We had the team over for a barbeque a and everything we needed was already in the condo, except a wine key.

The location, balcony and beach for this unit really made the stay, however the unit could have been cleaner with better linens. I forwarded this information to the management company, so hopefully they will address these issues. The master bathroom is huge, but one thing we really disliked is that the toilet in the master is completely exposed when the door is open. (I don't mean just not enclosed, but fully exposed with not even a partial wall to hide it,) Also, if you like to use multiple towels, bring a few extras. Two of the bedrooms have enough floor space for a twin air mattress if needed. Many things are walkable from this location. There are tons of carts to help you unload your vehicle, and parking two vehicles was never a problem. The wait for elevators could take a while although there were only 3 units on each floor. When we go to on vacation, the beach quality is important to us. This beach is huge, clean, and you can walk for miles. Chair and umbrella rentals are available right in front of the unit.

Thank you for your recent stay with us! The unit is certainly the perfect location! It is centrally located to some of the local island favorites. Housekeeping will be notified in terms of the cleanliness. The linens are typically the same thread count that is always used; however it could be time to evaluate for replacement. Sorry for the lay out of the bathroom as that is not something that I can change. The bath towels are in accordance with how many the unit will sleep. That is the convenience of the washer and dryer being in the unit. Wait times for the elevators can be a bit troublesome, especially if it is a busy time of the year. One thing for sure is the beaches are beautiful, pretty and white. The local municipalities take great pride in keeping our area clean and updated. We appreciate your input and value our guest!
