Welcome to Santos Family Farm Retreat, an upscale one-bedroom apartment nestled on a working organic farm in the heart of Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton wine country. Surrounded by 80 rolling acres and panoramic views of the picturesque Chehalem Valley, this charming escape offers the perfect setting for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway for couples looking to relax and reconnect with nature.

The retreat is perched above the farm with newly renovated interiors and breathtaking vistas of lush vineyards, pastoral farmland, and forested hills. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space featuring modern comforts, rustic charm, and all the amenities you need for a cozy stay.

As guests of Santos Family Farm, you’re invited to experience life on a certified organic farm, where we grow a vibrant mix of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, and raise happy animals with care. You're welcome to join us for a walk through the growing fields where you might meet our dwarf goats, flocks of chickens and ducks, and our friendly livestock guardian dogs, Sampson and Delilah. You may even spot a cow or two grazing in the distance.

Expect a truly authentic countryside experience—from the occasional call of coyotes at night to the cheerful crowing of a rooster in the morning. You’ll catch glimpses of daily farm life, from early morning harvests to loading up for the local farmer’s market.

Whether you're sipping wine on the porch while taking in the valley views or strolling through the farm at sunset, the Santos Family Farm Retreat promises a tranquil and memorable stay immersed in the best of Oregon wine country living.

Special Information:

The apartment occupies ~900 square feet on the entire upper floor of our farm store building.

The working farm area is away from the apartment property.

The store hours are limited to Friday through Sunday from 11 – 5.

Other things to note

Cell service varies by carrier.

You may use the internet as support for calling.

The security camera is on the storefront which is on the opposite side of the building from the apartment entrance.

Due to the property being in a working farm, seasonal elder bugs may be apparent. They do not bite or cause harm, but may gather in large groups depending on the time of year.

This was our 2nd year here to spend our anniversary. This place is perfect in every way-quiet, great views from every window, congenial hosts, close to many wineries, towns and shops. We hope to return next year for our 43rd anniversary.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Santos Family Farm Retreat. The place is perfectly situated in the Willamette Valley wine country. The accommodations were spacious and beautiful with a bedroom, living room and full kitchen. The windows are large allowing viewing of sunsets and sunrises and clear skies full of stars. Joe Santos was a super nice person and very accommodating with recommendations and general farm knowledge. This is a working organic farm with a multitude of vegetables, goats, chickens and ducks. The produce looks amazing. This is a top-notch establishment and would have like to have extended our stay by a few days. We will be back on our next venture to Oregon.

Staying at the farm was a lovely experience for us. The space is very roomy and comfortable with lots of light; also immaculately clean. They kindly left us a bottle of local Pinot, which was so nice since we didn’t have as much time as we wanted to go to the wineries. We loved roaming around and looking at everything they were growing and seeing the goats and chickens. Our only disappointment was that the farm store wasn’t open when we were there, but we did run into the owner who kindly gave us some eggs so we could have a nice breakfast before we left. We were about a half hour from McMinnville but the location was great since there are wineries all over the place. We especially enjoyed time at Solena winery nearby.

Santos Family Farm was a beautiful apartment on lovely grounds. We really enjoyed how well-equipped it was. We appreciated the grill and all the spices available in the cupboard. The bed and towels were wonderful. The location was beautiful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

The Santos Family Farm was outstanding in every way. Everything worked and nothing was broken. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location and view were great. The outside gazebo is perfect to sit and enjoy the day. This is a working farm. There are chickens, goats and cattle to entertain without being intrusive. A five star in every way.

Our stay at Santos Family Farm Retreat was fabulous. If you like being in the country and the great outdoors, and don't mind navigating a few country roads, this is definitely the place to be. Even though it rained off and on this weekend, it still gave it a cozy feel. The one bedroom apartment made us feel like we were in a home away from home on our trip. We were able to make our own home cooked meals in a clean kitchen, it had everything we needed to be able to cook what we purchased from the grocery store, instead of having to go to restaurants every night. They generously provided a plentiful supply of towels and blankets for our stay. Next time we're in, the area will definitely look them up again. Thank you for making everything so comfortable. P.S. I personally love the goats!!!

A quiet, peaceful spot with wonderful windows that overlook the valley. A few minutes drive away from dozens of wineries, and everything you could want by the way of home and kitchen amenities. We hope to return!

My friend and I took a girls trip to Willamette Valley for the wine and were blown away by the beauty of the area. Our stay at Santos Family Farms was incredible. The place was well stocked with everything needed and was immaculately cleaned. We definitely enjoyed our stay there.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay. A huge space with plenty of amenities on hand. Bed was comfy and the place was updated well. Grounds are well kept and clean! Perfect location for hub to wineries. Loved it! Keep up the great work santos farm!

This was an amazing apartment. The sunrise views from the picture windows are worth the price alone. The apartment is very spacious, with a fully stocked kitchen. It was such a scenic place, a few minutes away from some excellent wineries (like Willa Kinzie). Highly recommend

After 6 days on the northern and central Oregon coast the Santos Family Farm was a great ender. Beautiful views, quiet, clean and well furnished. Great basing point for discovering the many options for wine tasting. Would revisit in a heartbeat.

This has been one of the best places we have stayed!!!! The floorplan/layout is beautiful!! All the large windows allow you to capture the beauty of the outside! It is a working farm and it was nice to see everything? I got to meet one the Great Pyrenees, Deliah which made my week!! I looked forward to seeing her and I am assuming she did too as she would gallop to me!! We got to meet the owners who were as nice as can be! The top floor, where we stayed, is all updated with all updated items! We cooked a couple times and it was perfect! We sat outside on the little balcony overlooking the farm and flowers, with the amazing weather we had... we couldn't have wished for anything better! We hope to go back and get the same place!!! They have their own little private parking with a charger for electric vehicles if you need one. The closet space!!! I WISH I had that closet space in my own house! And again, the windows were huge! Stay here!

It was perfect! Not sure it gets any better! Everything beautiful neat clean! Sat out everyday amongst the flowers watching yellow finches sip from the water feature! If you are looking for peace and quiet this is it! Plenty to see and do in all directions esp if you love wine and Lavender!

We just had a lovely stay at the Santos Farm. The home has a gorgeous view of the rolling hills of wine country. Easy access to wineries. The home is new and modern, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Our young kids enjoyed the games. It was a much more comfortable place to stay as a family than a hotel.

Loved our 4-night stay at the farm. Great space with new amenities. Would have enjoyed the deck more if the rain had let up. Enjoyed the goats, cows, and 2 Great Pyrenees. Joe was a wonderful host.
