Great location with a few items to be addressed

First of all, the location is fantastic with a great view of the intercoastal. We saw dolphins, manatees, sting rays, and lots of birds. The boats provided great entertainment for sitting on the balcony and the afternoon is shaded so you can be outside and not overheat in the sun. We stayed in Palms 409. Communication with the rental company was great. The unit was clean, the primary bed was comfortable, and the space was large enough for our needs. The pool is large and heated, but there are less than ten lounges/chairs and could use some umbrellas for shade. There were some beach chairs left in the closet, but I would consider bringing your own or renting since they were not the greatest quality left behind. As other mentioned, the washer/dryer desperately needs replaced. Items don't dry in less than two dry cycles, and some settings on the washing machine don't work (like the colors cycle). The ceiling fan in the living room doesn't change direction when trying to switch the airflow direction, the electrical outlet on the balcony does not work so we couldn't place a fan out there on those extra hot days sitting outside, and the living room furniture is on it's last leg and very uncomfortable and outdated. We had an issue midway through our stay where our door code no longer worked, but luckily there were 2 different ones sent to us via email and an alternative one worked. Lastly, as much as they say no smoking, several different units had people smoking on their balconies and at the pool. There were times we couldn't be outside because it was overran with people smoking cigarettes, vaping, and pot all throughout the day and evening and the smell was unbearable. There is no enforcement of the no smoking policy so keep that in mind as it did dampen our vacation somewhat. Overall, location and parking were excellent, but the unit and the other building guests were not ideal.

Hello, First of all, the property has made a lot of nice improvements. There are a few things that would make the experience even better. the curtains on the door wall are old and very outdated. The rust on the entry door is still a very bad impression. It was like that last year, and I was assured it would be corrected and was not corrected. The elevator broke down three times during our visit, and we needed to use the stairs. My wife has a bad back and it was a real challenge for her. The pool furniture quantity is not enough, and the furniture is old and needs to be updated. We are looking forward to out visit next year. The Palms #409 Tom Walker

We stayed 6 nights and had a lovely time! The condo was laid out fantastically and had everything we needed for our week. Cannot have asked for a better location. A short walk to the beach. The balcony is a phenomenal place for watching dolphins play! Contact with the host was great! Would recommend!

Too many fees, but great view and clean

Beds were very stiff, and fans in the bathrooms were obnoxiously loud. Still giving a 5 for great view and cleanliness. I trip has way to many fees, after talking to numerous other visitors, I will do more research before I use them again. Still wish I had my original room 408. Treasure Island came back from those hurricanes stronger than ever. Love the people there.

Great vacation!

We had a wonderful time over Labor Day wknd, staying two nights at the Palms of Treasure Island. We were on the 4th floor and had a magnificent view of the intercoastal waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. The pool is very large and can accommodate a lot of people, giving you privacy, even with other people in the water. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach (and taking walks) and local restaurants. We highly recommend this accommodation and the owners. Everyone was incredibly easy to work with.

This is our second time staying in this unit. Love the top floor and the view. Inside the condo is nice. Nice open floor plan. Comfortable beds. Love the balcony and watching dolphins and boats. Only complaint is the pool didn’t seem to get cleaned often. Needed vacuuming and weeds growing in pavers. Guests need to be better at picking up after themselves as no one is paid to do it it seemed. Would rent again with hopes of improved pool maintenance.

Don’t let the interior hallways mislead you (very drab and dark), unit 409 is bright, well-maintained with comfortable furniture and beds, great layout, has everything you need to host your family or friends for a beach getaway - plus fantastic view of the Bay and PERFECT LOCATION! I parked my car when I arrived and didn’t use it again until it was time to depart seven days later. Pool and hot tub downstairs, beach access across the street, and Publix grocery store, Walgreens, and so many restaurants within 15 minute walking distance. And the St. Pete trolley stop is right in front of Publix making it so easy to go further without dealing with walking in the hot day sun, driving, and parking. Don’t hesitate - reserve one of the condos at the Palms of Treasure Island before someone else takes the dates you want to visit Treasure Island. Then again don’t because I plan to go back as soon as I can and plan to reserve this condo.

Had a great time. The few maintenance issues were fixed quickly. The kitchen needs to be better stocked with cooking pans, sheets, and utensils. Dishwasher needs to be cleaned and garbage disposal has horrible noise when running. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Treasure Island. Convenient location next door to a grocery store and a short walk across the street to the beach. While staying at the unit we had a couple of minor issues which management addressed right away. We were very pleased with the booking process, ease of check in, and ease of contacting the host. No surprises from what we originally saw on line. The morning sunrise from the balcony is a great way to start the day and we appreciated the shade in the evening.

We walked into the condo and the view was breathtaking. Our expectations were exceeded! We saw dolphins and so many sea birds from the balcony! Our favorite time was watching the sunrise over the water while drinking our morning coffee. The condo was perfect for our family of 6 with plenty of room. Walking across the street to the beach was very convenient and we love being next to Publix for supplies. Working with Itrip was super easy. They were so helpful throughout the entire experience. This is our 6th year of staying at The Palms in Treasure Island. The location is what keeps us coming back. Grocery store & Walgreens easy to walk to along with many good bars/restaurants. Need to update furniture. When we arrived couldn’t find many dishes in the cupboard. Found the dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Could not find a plug for the kitchen sink. Asked twice for one& never received it. Needed additional silverware & a dustpan which they delivered that day. For what they charge things could be updated.

Great Trip Staying at The Palms

My husband and I were down this April and had a great trip staying at the palms of treasure Island. The condo had been updated and looked beautiful with new floors and gorgeous hand paintings and there are many amenities included with your stay at the palms. The customer service is really unbelievable. I've never stayed anywhere where you get almost instant great service! Pool is lovely and was fairly warm this year. I would recommend the palms and itrip to any of my friends and family and have done so. We found a lot of great local restaurants including shrimpys, Foxys, Pipos for great Cuban cuisine, & always a trip to the waffle house. This is our third time staying at the palms but certainly far from our last. I love it here and I love dealing with itrip.

Palms of Treasure Island #409 was a nice place although lacking in some items especially the kitchen....some suggestions would be Tupperware type containers to take snacks to the beach or pool, salt and pepper shakers, some saran wrap etc. The condo had a fabulous view of the bay and pool area. Nice balcony! Overall clean and comfortable. The sliding door was so hard to open and shut..should be looked at. We really enjoyed the week as the area was not crowded at all...

The price was right but king size bed springs were broke it sunk in. Maintenance put a foam support over bed a little better but still sunk down mattress needs replaced it was not in the 7 days we stayed.?

Treasure Island is the perfect location for a get away. The condo accommodations are comfortable and there is plenty of room for two couples or just more space if it’s the two of you. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, shopping at John’s Pass is just up the road, and fishing from shore was a success (two small hammerhead sharks and a pompano)!

The location, convenience and view were terrific. The layout and size of the unit itself was good. The pool and hot tub were great. I was disappointed that the furniture in my unit was outdated and uncomfortable. The beds needed new mattresses and the couches in the living room were just not comfortable to sit on. I also wished that I was able to lower the thermostat to 68 degrees. A preset thermostat for cooling of 72 degrees made it a little challenging to sleep at night.

This condo was great ! Close to the ocean and has its own pool and hot tub . Rooms were plenty big and the balcony view was gorgeous in the mornings and we had dolphins swim by every morning and evening. Publixs was right next door which helped tremendously! They supply beach chairs , towels, even gas and charcoal grills. The kitchen itself has everything you need.It was great to be able to do our laundry up before we left. It also had a dishwasher which was wonderful as we had 5 adults and 1 child . There was plenty of room for all of us !! Love this place !

My husband and I could not be happier with our stay. From the beautiful sunrises over the bay to the breathtaking sunsets across the street at the beach it was beautiful!! The condo was perfect for us. We were able to have our family visit and enjoy the spacious balcony and view. If I could make one recommendation, it would be more towel racks in the bathroom and hooks on the doors for the bath towels. Other than that, perfect stay. We look forward to staying in this same unit again and again!!

The unit is well appointed and the view is just amazing. We enjoyed watching the Dolphins and manatees and shore birds night and day. The balcony is the best feature of the unit so big and spacious. The beach was a short walk and also a Publix which helped with getting any food or supplies. The only thing I wished unit had was ceiling fans in the bedrooms it was quite warm at night in the rooms without them, you could tell the unit once had them and they had been removed. Also the Dryer did not dry clothing very well-had to be very very small loads. The PALMS itself needs hallway power washing monthly-hallway floors were quite dirty. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would return to this unit again.
