Welcome to Ruby's Lakehouse - a charming retreat nestled beside Douglas Lake, where breathtaking mountain views promise spectacular sunrises and sunsets. This delightful 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers a cozy escape that feels worlds away while still being conveniently located. Just a 30-45 minute drive will take you to the vibrant attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, perfect for days filled with adventure, outdoor exploration, shopping, or dining at a variety of local restaurants.

This property features its own private boat ramp and a dock for those peaceful afternoons spent by the water. Enjoy year-round access to the lakeside, with a floating dock available from April through October.

These activities are at no additional cost or obligation. You will receive information from Xplorie and you can contact them to set up your tickets. You can make reservations for your tickets with Xplorie up to 48 hours prior to your arrival.

You will receive one ticket per each attraction or show available. Additional guests will pay full price. Unused admissions expire daily and do not apply to monthly reservations and some activities are seasonal.

We were at Ruby’s Lake House this was our second time there and it won’t be our last , me my wife and some family were together, it is such a pretty place. If there was a down side it would be the floating boat dock , the two sides were missing hopefully it was just a repair and not permanent. The booking agency was so kind and courteous . Plan to definitely book again in the near future . Don

This cabin was located on a beautiful road just outside of town allowing for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The entry way through the laundry room is a little misleading from the pictures but the cabin itself did not disappoint! Everything was clean and stocked well. We even got to watch the tv which is hard to find in the mountains. It has a perfect little balcony to drink your coffee on in the mornings. Made for a great girls trip!

This was our second time at Ruby’s Lake House and hope to come back. Check in and out was incredibly easy. Itrip management is very easy to deal with..all issues were quickly addressed….not that there were any real issues! The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

My family loved this lakeside cabin! Very clean and we loved the rustic cabin feel. My wife and I had coffee every morning on the dock..so peaceful. We were dropping our daughter off at UT which is under an hour and an easy drive. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ruby's lakehouse. The location was perfect for us, being able to put our boat in at the house instead of having to go to the marina was so convenient. The house was great. There is only 2 things I would change the master shower is way to small and had no water pressure so I shared the one downstairs with the rest of the family, the bathroom is spacious enough for a bigger shower. The other is the Lakeview, when sitting on the deck outside the living area the gorgeous view is blocked by all the trees. Oh and maybe some more towels and washcloths for those of us who stay a full week. On a positive note the home does have everything you need for your stay it's spacious, location to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg is perfect your not in the hustle and bustle. I definitely would recommend Ruby's lakehouse. Douglas lake is huge and we stayed during the week of July 4th and it was never congested like most lakes are. Love it!!! Sarah

The cabin was great. We had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the scenery and listening to the birds. We also did many other activities in the pigeon Forge Gatlinburg area. All in all it was a wonderful trip!

Loved the cabin and property! A few minor things to contend with….cobwebs in the stairways and deck, poison ivy in the yard, but nothing that we couldn’t deal with. The management company answered all questions very quickly….there was no propane and the dishwasher leaked and they offered help right away. It would have been nice to have ceiling fans but we brought our own fans so it really wasn’t a problem. Definitely coming back and definitely using Itrip again!

The view was beautiful, the cabin was nice, but unfortunately we seen a bug in the kitchen and one of the comforters had a huge disgusting stain that looked like blood. We went and purchased our own bedding for our stay and did not eat out of the kitchen.

Thank you for being a valued guest. Records indicate our staff did not receive a request for a service call during your visit. Our team would have been happy to respond quickly to resolve concerns. Our staff does not have any records from previous guests of concerns regarding pests , but the property has been serviced by Orkin, and is on a regular treatment schedule. The housekeeping staff has not located the reported stain, but all bedding has been re- laundered and disinfected. This spacious, beautiful lakeside property maintains a high ranking, and provides a large green space and gorgeous lakeside views.

We loved the beautiful lake view, the family friendly fire pit area and the amenities available. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and more spacious than the photos indicate. The drive to the nearest grocery store only took a few minutes. We were pleasantly surprised at how convenient this cabin is to all of the touristy stuff, yet it is so quiet and peaceful at night. I think the only sounds we heard were owls hooting and an occasional bullfrog. I would recommend this updated, clean and cozy cabin to anyone looking for a great place to get away.

Such a peaceful spot on Lake Douglas. The views of the lake were awesome from the porch right down to the waters edge and on the dock. Once we actually went inside for the evening (after stargazing and checking out Mars, Jupiter and 4 moons, Saturn and rings through a telescope brought along) we got great sleep in very comfortable rooms. The kitchen had all we needed to cook up breakfast each day and our finale steak dinner (the gas grill was great). All three of us agreed that we had to do this again. Thank you Ruby’s Lakehouse!

We had a great Girl's Weekend. It was a nice house. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Gatlinburg area. It is definitely a secluded area. If you are looking for a quite place to relax; this would be the place for you. Make sure you have reached this location before night fall. Getting to this location after dark can be dangerous. The locals are not merciful to tourist when driving.
