About

Welcome to King's Queen, where the only thing better than the wine is the view.

Perched above its own vineyard in the heart of Oregon Wine Country, King's Queen is the kind of place where "just one glass" somehow turns into watching the sunset with friends around the fire pit. Whether you're here to explore award-winning wineries, celebrate a special occasion, or simply escape the everyday, this beautiful retreat offers the perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and unforgettable scenery.

The panoramic vineyard and valley views steal the show from nearly every room in the house. Start your mornings with coffee overlooking the vines, spend your afternoons wine tasting just minutes away, and finish the day soaking in the private hot tub as the sun disappears behind the rolling hills. (Trust us—it's a tough job, but someone has to do it.)

Inside, King's Queen combines timeless character with thoughtful modern comforts. New furnishings mingle with carefully curated vintage pieces, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels both refined and wonderfully relaxed. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the home with natural light and make the vineyard feel like part of the living room.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen was made for gathering. Whether you're preparing a leisurely brunch before heading out to the tasting rooms or putting together an elaborate charcuterie spread to pair with your latest wine discoveries, you'll have everything you need. A spacious dining table invites everyone to linger over meals, stories, and maybe one more bottle.

After a day exploring the Willamette Valley, curl up by the fireplace with your favorite vintage, stream a movie on the Smart TV, or simply settle into one of the cozy chairs and enjoy the ever-changing landscape outside.

The primary suite is a peaceful retreat featuring a luxurious king bed, premium linens, and an inviting reading nook. The spa-inspired ensuite bathroom includes a beautifully tiled walk-in shower along with plush towels and thoughtful amenities to help you unwind.

Two additional guest bedrooms provide flexible accommodations for family and friends. One features a comfortable queen bed, while the other can be configured as either two twin beds or one king, making it ideal for couples or groups traveling together.

Outside is where King's Queen truly shines.

Stretching out before you are rolling vineyards, distant hills, and some of the most beautiful sunsets in Oregon. Spend the evening soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars, gather around the wood-burning fire pit with a glass of Pinot Noir in hand, or simply relax on the patio and watch the light change across the valley. If you're bringing your four-legged friends, they'll have plenty of room to explore while you settle into vacation mode.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, planning a romantic getaway, enjoying a girls' wine weekend, or reconnecting with family, King's Queen is more than a place to stay—it's where some of your favorite wine country memories are waiting to be uncorked.

Cheers!

Beauty in Wine Country
5/5 stars
A beautiful property nestled among hills and vineyards of the Chehalem Mountains. It has the best stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental. The patio is lovely for meals, relaxing around a fire, and enjoying the sunset. Bird watching was outstanding. Two small hawks live in the tree right outside the house and there is a bald eagle that hung out across the street. The hot tub takes about 4 hours to heat up to 100 degrees, so plan accordingly. Conveniently located near some of the best wineries in the area- there is even one next door, but you have to book in advance to taste at the property (Flanuer Winery). We visited their tasting room in nearby Carlton, which is one of the coolest tasting rooms I've ever visited- it's in a refurbished grain elevator.

This is the PERFECT place for a girls' getaway. The property is clean, well-stocked, and the views are breathtaking in every direction. There's so much to do and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of adventure was a bonus. Just what we all needed.

Grandmas Trip
5/5 stars
We had a very pleasant stay. Very beautiful and quiet location. The one level house was very nice for my grandmother. The kitchen was nicely stocked so we could make breakfasts and dinner after buying groceries. I recommend bringing a sleep mask because 2 of the 3 bedrooms did have light blocking shades.

Willamette Valley Wine Tour
5/5 stars
We enjoy wine, so every year we pick a different wine region to taste the area wines. This year we picked the Willamette Valley. The property was in the country so it was very quiet. It was also centered in the area of the wineries we wanted to try. We were told at one of our wine tasting that there is approximately 700 wineries in the area. The house was very nice with a large Kitchen area. The view from the house was outstanding! It reminded us of the views we had seen in Italy.

Whats not to love?
5/5 stars
We booked this house for an anniversary trip after doing some research. We wanted to have a nice view and a hot tub to enjoy wine country and we couldn't have been more pleased! The windows, the design, comfort of furniture, and kitchen amenities were all spot on. (FYI, grab foil and ziplocks if you think you’ll need them..otherwise, they have everything you could need to cook a great meal). The bed was comfy, the pillows were great, there were great blankets provided and even a box fan, which I use regularly for white noise. The house was easy to find, we were able to do grocery pickup (grabbed some wood for the firepit) at Fred Meyer in town to stock up a bit for our trip. The winery up the hill was great, and overall exactly what you want in a house away from home. Would 10/10 recommend.

Great & Peaceful Stay
5/5 stars
The house was comfortable, well appointed and secluded. The rooms were a bit small - but sufficient for our party of 4 adults. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding area was gorgeous - we loved being set among the vineyards! The pictures were an accurate representation of the property. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful Views
5/5 stars
Had a WONDERFUL stay in August to escape the heat in Texas. We enjoyed the large kitchen, cooking and eating while viewing vineyards and mountains in the distance. Aug is blackberry season - bushes were every where! We would recommend this property to anyone interested in being a little outside of town, overlooking a vineyard while still close to wineries and interested in cooking one or two meals to enjoy the views.
