305 - Madeira Bay Resort

Although the recent hurricanes impacted the Madeira Beach area where the condo is located, bars and restaurants were open approx 50/50. We had a great time all week, and were happy to support Florida. The condo was lovely as usual, it was our 3rd time staying there. There are books and games if you are hanging out, and we really enjoyed the deck. We saw egrets, ospreys, parakeets, and flying fish. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Also the iTrip Travel people were very responsive to our needs, and even gave us an extra activity ticket boat ride due to the fact that the pool/hottub were not repaired yet. The weather was beautiful all week. I encourage you to go support Florida and to use iTrip Company.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maderia Bay Resort. It was a very short walk across the street to the beach. The pool was clean and was not crowded at all. The condo was clean and starter supplies were available upon arrival.

I could give the condo 305, 5 stars, comfortable and well equipped. Comfortably furnished. I would have to give Madiera Bay Resort only 3 stars. Other than the pool area there is no place to sit outside. The pool area is stark with no plantings. No BBQ grill. A ladder into the intercoastal would be nice fir kayakers.

Short stay that went well; the condo was more than roomy with a very good view. Chirping smoke alarm in Resort was annoying but bearable. Good place to stay and great location.

We really had a great time during our 10 day stay in Florida. We've been here before, so we're sort of getting to know the various Marina inhabitants !! Any issues we had were promptly handled by the iTrip Team, going so far as to send us an item we forgot, whoops ! The condo is very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed the new deck furniture this year, as well as the new showerhead !! The condo is decked out with puzzles, books, games, plenty of blankets, pillows, everything you would need if you want to cook (however we were lazy). Beach across the street, and LOTS of eateries and music you can just walk to. We were lazy and hardly took out the car. There is also a free Beach trolley if you want to go farther, and you don't mind waiting for it. We will come again !

The Itrip team were efficient and extremely helpful as always. The condo was clean, quiet and spacious with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday! As a bonus we saw dolphins in the marina which we have seen before but this time saw a manatee! Will be back soon, Thank you so much again for an amazing, relaxing time away!

Easy booking on line. Although the condo was a little outdated, it was extremely clean when we arrived!

perfect vacation pad again this year, clean quiet and close to restaurants and the beach!

It was the perfect size for our family of four. We had everything we needed provided by the owners and all we had to do was walk across the street and we were at the beach. Very well priced.

We have stayed at the Madeira Bay Resort for the past five years. Unit 305 is very nice, with a great view of the coastal waters. Sara at the front desk is beyond helpful, a real sweetheart. You are right across the street from the gulf and next door to John’s Pass, with free outdoor music everyday. The Mad Beach Fish House is next to the condo also, with great fish and shrimp. We had some issues connecting internet and cable; Management ha been very responsive to get us up and running. Love the location overlooking the canal. Its quiet and just across the street from the beach.

I spent a 6 days vacation here in December 2018. It is a fully furnished condo with nice modern furniture. The unit has professional house keeping and is fresh and clean. It over looks the marina with this feeling of tranquility. The living room has new sofas. It also has TV and DVD player for evening enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is always nice to have hot morning coffee when you wake up. The unit has built in washer and dryer which is great for a long vacation. You can travel light but never run out of clothes. Covered parking is on the ground floor which makes in and out, loading and unloading very convenient. The beach is only a hundred yard away. In fact, there are miles of beaches from John's Pass to Clearwater. You can choose any one you like. John's Pass is an interesting place. It has all the shops, restaurants and even a deep sea fishing Marina. I went out for deep sea fishing for a day and got some nice catch. There is a nice restaurant next to the Marina, which can cook you catch for a very reasonable charge, if you do not want to cook your own in the condo. There are plenty of good restaurant in the neighborhood. For example, Lisa's Cafe next door and Sweet Brewnette are good for breakfast. If you like me love scallop, Dockside Dave's Seafood Shack (it really is a shack!) is the place to go. Their jumbo scallop is cooked just right. Not over, not under, and not over seasoned. The big portion, 8 jumbo scallop, will make you very satisfied. For grocery and supplies, a Walmart super center is about 3 miles away. It should be mentioned that Tarpon Spring is about an hour away, which has the historic sponge docks and great greek dood.

This condo is just two blocks from the (white sand!) beach. It was so nice getting up and going straight to the ocean for a run, walk, or some reading. (Unfortunately it was too cold to go swimming.) There were plenty of beach towels and chairs, as well as an umbrella and cooler, to make my visits memorable. Inside the condo is modern, well-kept furniture, and the kitchen is stocked with all types of equipment, pots and pans, etc. One of my favorite aspects of the unit was the balcony facing the canal and boats. It was nice to have a coffee and check out the activity below. Within walking distance is John's Pass Village, a collection of storefronts and restaurants to pass a leisurely afternoon or evening. On a Saturday night, I saw a great band finishing up a set, though not much else was happening. I didn't realize it at first, but there are lots of water-based tourist vendors, so it's quite easy to get on a boat for a few hours. Parking is plentiful and free, and the condo is located about 25 minutes from downtown St. Petersburg and about 35 minutes from the airport. One final note: there is a gym was some basic equipment, as well as a pool. Highly recommend!
