This wonderfully comfortable coast cottage offers charming coast vibes in a convenient location just four blocks from the ocean in the heart of historic Nelscott. There have been numerous updates across this two floor retreat and being dog friendly makes it a fantastic option for those with pets. The deck and hot tub is a great place to enjoy sunsets and relax after a day of fun and exploration.

Serving as the social heart of the home, the main living area features a natural gas fireplace surrounded by two sofas and a cozy armchair. Relax and watch a movie on the flat-screen with theater-like surround sound. Just off the living area, a sitting room with large picture windows provides a sunny spot to unwind, while a detached bonus living space on the second floor offers a TV with stereo speakers. The modern kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and sleek granite countertops. Serve up delicious creations at the dining table for six.

This home sleeps eight guests in three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom is outfitted with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin daybed. A guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination is shared between the two. A half bathroom is conveniently located between the kitchen and dining area.

The nearby beach, with its tide pools and beautiful sand, is a quick seven-minute walk from your front door. Stay close to home, or get out and explore the surrounding area. Your central location puts everything Lincoln City has to offer within easy reach.

PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. *

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1  Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
2  All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. 
3  No glitter or confetti is to be used or dispersed on the property. Failure to comply will result in extra cleaning fees of at least $300.00 at a minimum.
4  The maximum number of occupants shall not exceed the advertised number stated on the listing.
5  Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
6  If Pets are allowed on Property a $100 per pet fee is required. Let us know if you will be bringing pets so we can send a $100 request per pet. Please pick up after your pets. If feces are left behind an extra charge of $50 applied clean up. If it is marked as "No pets" this policy must be observed and pets are not allowed on premises.
7  Smoking is not allowed in the unit. $500 fine if evidence of smoking is found in the unit.
8  Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
9  Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state the rental vacation rental property resides in, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of the state or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits.
10  There shall be no noise that can be heard outside the home between the hours of 10pm - 7am. If noise is an issue, you will get a written warning text message to the number that booked the reservation and/or a phone call. If noise does not stop, you will be fined up to $300 or possibly evicted immediately.
11  Any items left that a guest leaves and wishes to be returned and shipped will incur a $30 fee plus shipping. 
12. Commercial use of the property, including filming, is prohibited unless approved with a signed location release form. Any unauthorized filming for commercial use will result in immediate eviction and possible legal action.

SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES
Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the listings advertised guests, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

Violations of our noise rules or maximum number of guests agreed to at the time of booking will result in possible fines or immediate eviction with all loss of all rents.  Depending on severity if there is a noise situation we may call and issue a warning or proceed with a $300 fine. If we cannot reach the guest that booked the property someone will show up to at a minimum issue a $300 fine and/or evict the entire group immediately. Any delay will result in us involving the authorities and trespassing every person on the property as well as the loss of all rents. Additional fines or damages may be assessed after removal. 

HOLD HARMLESS
iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
 
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The undersigned Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.

This is a great house with plenty of room and lots of amenities- walking distance to a park and the beach. We especially loved the outbuilding with tv and the hot tub. The company was very attentive to any questions and easy to work with.

Had a wonderful time Hot tub was nice n hot but deck is slippery.. warn guests or maybe put down grip or something to prevent falls Left my fur coat hoping I can get it returned ??? My fault Doggies had a great time too Our bed was super comfortable in master had a relaxing time Thank you

We booked the trip for three generations to have time together away from the distractions of life. While we enjoyed our time together, the house was not up to expected standards. With a check in time of 4 pm, I texted before 6pm that the two back bedrooms were not warming up. I was told that someone could be out the next morning to take a look at the issue! When I explained that the next morning was not an acceptable solution, I was then given instructions on how to possibly reset the heaters - when I explained that I don't travel with a screw driver when on vacation and didn't want responsibility for resetting a heater, the representative finally agreed to have someone come out. The issue was corrected that evening but it shouldn't be that hard. In addition, the home is lacking general maintenance - loose handrails around the back deck making it treacherous for our oldest generation; mold and dirt in the bathrooms, excessive dirt in the bedrooms (where you plug in electronics behind a nightstand) and holes in the carpet (entrance to and within in the master bedroom).

Everything was wonderful! Itrip was very responsive when we needed additional sheets for the extra bedroom. The house is well stocked and we loved all the toys and books for our granddaughter. The hot tub was super relaxing after a day of walking and exploring the beach.

We had a wonderful visit to the “Starfish Cottage”. The home was very well appointed, clean, and a great space for our family. A nice little community with many fun amenities, walking path to the beach, and a great playground. We really enjoyed having a hot tub! Overall, this was a really great stay!! The host company was VERY responsive and easy to work with. A welcome bottle of wine was an especially nice touch after a long drive!
