Welcome to Heavenly Hangout, a newer-built cabin in the Cobbly Nob community, just 13 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. With stunning Smoky Mountain views, tasteful furnishings, and modern amenities, this hidden gem is the perfect family retreat or group getaway. My family with 4 kids had the best time, we even got enough snow to play in a n a few mornings! The cabin was great, location beautiful, it’s a good 20 min from everything yet we enjoyed that! We would definitely stay again!

My family and I loved staying in this cabin! There were 6 total and plenty of room for all of us! The kids loved the pool table and arcade while the adults chilled in front of the tv or outside on the deck. Every morning I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while reading and enjoying the beautiful view! I would recommend bringing some of these items: Blankets (there was only 1 and it got a little cold at night) Basic kitchen supplies (no spices/oils/coffee- but there were tons of filters) Games/books/cards The drive up the mountain to the cabin was steep, but my minivan had no problems! Also, we saw bears and deer along the way, which was incredible! We had such a great time in Gatlinburg doing the touristy things but also spending some days in the cabin! I would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to come back again!

We enjoyed our stay!! This cabin was super cute! We saw deer off the deck and a bear and her cubs just down the road not far from cabin. We had fun playing pool and video games. Nice little cabin!

Our recent trip to Heavenly Hangout was amazing. The sunsets from this cabin are breathtaking. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful. From the tastefully decorated rooms and comfortable beds. The drive to get access to these beautiful views and the cabin kept my heart in my throat it is a very steep winding road with several hairpin turns. We have an all wheel drive SUV and had no issues but if we had brought our F250 it would have been hard to navigate the hairpin turns. The is a little ways out of town (15 miles outside of Gatlinburg) but it was quiet and so peaceful.

We are so excited to come back to Gatlinburg and spend more time in the cabin because we are planning to do more things here but the time passed so quickly and when we check we forget to celebrate my daughters 16 birthday and we left the ice cream cake here. This place is amazing! Clean organized. Everything we needed was there. Bear came right to the house along with deer and other wildlife. The drive to the house is a little scary at first. But once you get used to it, it’s fine. Pull out sofa was hard and no one could sleep on it. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone!

We absolutely loved our cabin in the mountains! Everything we needed was there for a great family vacation. Clean, inviting and the best views! We utilized a free adult pass at Dollywood too and that was a great added perk! 10/10 all around!

Overall experience was good there were a few things that were disappointing. The views were amazing and the bear sightings were great. However the cleaning company could have done a better job cleaning the outside area for example the grill looked like an animal was living in it, the swing on the patio had bird droppings all over it so it couldn’t be used. There was no Wi-Fi in the house from the first day we got there. Guy came out twice to fix it and still didn’t work. Pool table sticks were missing rubber tips and there was no caulk. Had to do some leg work to get the pool pass finally got it on day 4.

What an amazing trip! Although it was hard driving through the sharp uphill turns on our arrival late at night, we got the hang of it. To be safe, chose to return each night from then on before sunset — and what beautiful sunsets they were. My daughter and I loved our scenic morning jog with great uphill and downhill challenges. My sons and wife sharpened their pool skills and also enjoyed the retro video games. We cooked in every night. Great outdoor grill for steaks and burgers, and inside we used the crockpot to make a delicious slow cooked roast. The absolute highlight was the wildlife. We were amazed to see deer casually strolling by each day, but we were beyond excited to be visited by 2 beautiful bears one evening just before sunset. They peacefully passed right in front of the cabin and continued on their way. We can’t wait to return!

We had a great time during our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (kids 14, 12, 10) and the house was very nice. We cooked three dinners there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed several games at the pool table and on the arcade machine, which was really nice during the couple days with rainy weather. We enjoyed the views from the back deck, especially at sunset. We would definitely stay there again as it is only about 20 min from Gatlinburg which is perfect for us as we prefer to be away from the crowds. Thank you for the great place to stay!

We came from Michigan, 1st family vacation out of state. My daughter loved the cabin, the views and seeing a Mama bear ? and 3 cubs. Definitely would stay again only issue we had was with door code wasn't right. Luckily we got one as soon as i called. And the security alarm was fun trying to figure out how to use. Should have a essy follow step by step.

Beautiful cabin with a lovely view. Enjoyed seeing the black bear almost daily. The drive was the only downside to the cabin. It’s steep and treacherous, especially at night. If you are planning daily outings to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge they are 30-45 minutes away. Some destinations are longer such as Cades Cove. Cabin was clean and decorated nicely, beds are super super soft though.

This was our third time at this cabin, we absolutely love it! Everything was very clean as always!! We can't say enough how much we enjoy everything about this place. Everything was perfect. Very clean, beautiful views, lots of animal activity. Bear almost every day on the porch!! The cabin is perfectly located on top of the mountain and no road noise or anything but still close enough to everything you want to do. Just be aware of your surroundings, the bears literally try to open the front door so be sure it is locked at all times!!! Wonderful time and perfect cabin!! Will definitely be coming back to this cabin.

Our stay started off on the wrong foot when we arrived at 5:00 p.m. - an hour past the authorized check in time of 4:00 p.m. - and the 4-digit key code we were told to use did not work. We called the number and the woman said she would have to call back. She called back and gave us a new code to use. There were a few other minor maintenance issues (slow drain, bedroom door not latching, etc.) that, while annoying, was not worth calling to repair. I did leave a list of maintenance items in the unit at checkout. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new and very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck watching the black bear that showed up late each afternoon. Also the views were stunning. If not for the issues noted would be a 5-star review.
