Relax and reflect on days gone by in stylistic Midcentury Retreat just outside the center of the Old City of St. Augustine. Located in the historic Lincolnville district, this 1950 Frank Lloyd Wright style house is thoughtfully restored and tucked away on a quiet and vintage residential street. The large yard, beautiful trees and front porch invite you to come in and stay awhile. Beautifully finished paneling, vaulted ceilings and open floor plan flow through the house along with old fixture and furniture styles. Wide glass doors across the back of the house framed with red curtains look out onto a spacious deck, fire-pit patio and a green backdrop of trees. You will enjoy cooking up meals in the bright kitchen which looks out through French windows to the front porch and yard. Bedrooms are split and the one large, retro bathroom is shared. Several great eateries are located within a 5-10 minute walk including Preserved Restaurant, Blue Hen Cafe, Crave Food Truck and the Ice Factory, as well as attraction tours such as The Distillery, San Sebastian Winery and Peterbrook Chocolatiers. Walk to the center of the downtown walking district with museums and shops in 15 minutes!
A separate one-bedroom suite, "Sparrow's Nest," is available under a different listing and attached to the side of Midcentury Retreat. Inquire for more details.
