My wife and I are not strangers to vacation rentals. As such, I always know to expect less than what the pictures and the description lead me to believe. The pictures will always show a secluded, private cabin, which is never true, and phrases like "Sleeps 10" really means 4 unless you start stacking children. Perhaps it's because my expectations were low, or maybe it's just that good, but this place blew away my every expectation. First of all, while there are 2 cabins adjacent to this one, there is definitely plenty of privacy, particularly in sensitive areas such as the pool. The large windows and door in the pool room offer great views, but at the same time you would have to be standing on an adjacent hillside with a telescope to see in. The one thing that could have been better is the window coverings in the rest of the cabin. The kitchen, and 2 of the main floor balcony doors are completely uncovered. This wasn't that big of a deal, but one of the uncovered windows, and one of the uncovered doors directly faced the neighboring cabins. Fortunately, there were only 2 nights out of our entire stay that one of the 2 adjacent cabins were occupied. This cabin also busted another one of my expectations: space. There is plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised. The 2 queen bedrooms are huge. Plenty of room to walk around the bed and then some. Also, both of these rooms are equipped with nicely appointed bathrooms and whirlpool tubs, and each having their own TV and satellite receiver. Outside of that, there are 2 nooks on the same floor, one with a couch, TV, and Wii console, the other with some books and a convertible sofa. The King bedroom is also well appointed, with slightly less space than the other two, but still perfectly comfortable. It too has a well appointed bathroom en suite. One of the biggest bonuses that we found is that there is a washer and dryer! I haven't seen this in any of the descriptions that I've read of this property, but this definitely made the stay a lot more comfortable for us. The pool and the hot tub were fantastic, as was the view from the hot tub. Going up to the eagles nest and watching the sunrise from the hot tub, drinking a cup of coffee was one of my favorite things to do. The pool was probably the #1 attraction for us. We have 3 children under 3 years old, so this was the best way to keep almost everyone entertained. I've read that other reviewers have said that the pool is not heated, however, I wouldn't have noticed. The temperature was perfectly comfortable for our entire stay. Another family favorite was the theater room. The room was well equipped for family movie night, and it also had a dish receiver (if you could figure out the correct combination of the 6+ remote controls). It was a great place to turn on a cartoon and let the kids play for a bit. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed and had nearly everything we needed. The only things we had to pick up were some coffee filters, stretch wrap, and ziploc bags (which we left behind for the next visitors to use). We were surprised to find some not so common amenities, such as a slow cooker and blender. The rest of the cabin had some nice appointments as well, such as TONS of extra blankets and pillows, a vacuum, an ironing board, and we even found a baby gate! This was perfect! This is the point in the review in which I would normally rate the experience we had with the staff, however, I cannot. I did not have a single interaction with the staff for our entire stay. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing. My wife did call once before we arrived to ask a few questions, and I did find out after we got home that the property manager sent me a welcome email, but I chose to have my email turned off for the entire trip. We had plenty of contact information if we needed it, and I have every reason to believe that they would have been attentive to our needs, but we didn't need it. It was downright refreshing not to be bothered. The only negative thing I have to say about this rental, is that it could use some attention to some of the details, such as the window coverings. There were also some cracked or chipped tiles in the kitchen that we tried to avoid. Also, I was a bit put off by the fact that I was offered a Starbucks gift card to give them a 5 star review on another website (I chose not to review them on the other website for this reason). People like me depend on these reviews being honest to make sure their vacations are well spent. All in all though, these things were very minor, and did not distract from the relaxing stay that we all enjoyed. Ultimately, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who can afford to rent a cabin in the mountains. This will be remembered by my family as one of the most fun and relaxing vacations we've ever had.

We had an amazing stay in the cabin! It was perfect for our family, plenty of room to spread out. The pool was a perfect size! I am so glad we stayed here! The only negative thing was the cleanliness! There was huge cobwebs in several rooms and very dusty! Other than that it was amazing and we would love to stay there again!

A/C Did Not Work. The Satellite Did Not Work. The Hot Tub Ran Over And Leaked Water To All Floors. Ice Maker Was Broke Did Not Work. Pool Was Not Clean At All Balls Of Hair All Over. Big Insect And Ant Infestation. No Cleaning Had Been Done For A while. Some Of The In Cabin Reviews Had Been Removed Or Ripped Out. More Things Wrong Things Wrong to Keep Listing. Texted With Someone Claiming They Were Speaking For The Owners (Cowardly) And Did Nothing For 3 Days To Address The Problems. Owner Did Not Or Haven’t Contacted Us Even Though They Were Supposedly Informed What The Issues Were. VERY UNHAPPY AND UNSATISFIED WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND OWNERS. We Were Asked The First Night If We Wanted To Leave For A Refund, However, We Had Already Unpacked And Bought Groceries. I Hope No One Rents This Cabin And If You Do You Are Going To Be SORRY. It’s A Shame Because the Cabin and the View Is Great, Just Horrible Customer Service Especially from the Owners. We are very sorry that this guest did not enjoy their stay at our cabin. We would like to say that even from the beginning of the reservation process to the end of the guest visit, our team was very responsive and accommodating. When booking this reservation the guest was given a complimentary military discount, we communicated with the guest on multiple occasions before arrival, when the guest arrived at the property and notified us of his concerns we immediately responded. 1.) AC was repaired the night of guest arrival 2.) Ice was delivered to the guest the following morning. 3.) Dish / Satellite worked on all but 2x TV's and was corrected within 36 hrs of guest arrival. 4.) Over 80 text messages were received from the guest and responded to. Over half within first 3 hrs of arrival. 5.) Hot Tub was overfilled with water and or had too many people in it - causing overflow 6.) Guest demanded Dish / Satellite TV repaired as well as Ice delivered within 1 hr or he stated that he planned to stay the whole week for free. 7.) Guest was given the opportunity to leave the first night and receive a full refund, but declined. 8.) Pool was cleaned prior to arrival, inspection was preformed the following day at guest request. One small hair clump was provided to us and noted. In regards to an owner responding to guest, it is not protocol for us to have the owner call a guest. As a property management company we handle all maintenance, cleaning, guest concerns and bookings for the owner. We encourage all future travelers to look at the many reviews for our cabin, and search across all social media and marketing sites. This cabin receives wonderful reviews and is an amazing vacation retreat, offering many amenities. Our team respectfully disagrees with guest assessment of our responsiveness and the cabin itself. Please note that this cabin is advertised accurately with the exact photos and description of what our travelers should expect when staying. This cabin lives up to its name. We planned our stay as a stopover on our way back to Ohio from Florida. The kids absolutely loved the cabin. We've stayed in pool cabins at the Black Bear Ridge Resort in the past, but found this cabin to be an upgrade from those. The owners were extremely easy to work with, and kept me informed throughout the reservation process. The cabin is about 15 minutes from restaurants and shopping, and about 30 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. This is further away than we typically stay, but we didn't find the distance to be an issue at all. We are already looking at our calendar to plan for our next stay!

We had an awesome experience at the Best Little Pool House in the Smokies. We had the option of indoor swimming pool, third floor hot tub with spectacular views, and a main floor pool table to keep us busy during our stay. And the home theater room was incredible to watch our favorite shows. The rustic cabin had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. The two level porches were amazing to watch sunsets and sunrises over the Smokies. The house is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg and all the fun things there to do.

This cabin is very roomy and pretty wonderful! Decorations are lovely and the bedrooms were great size. The pool was very clean and nice and pretty good size for an indoor pool. Three full baths plus a half bath at the pool room make it very nice! Everything was pretty clean. The theater room was difficult to get started, but once we got it figured out, it was such a fun way to watch movies. We had a problem with the dishwasher leaking, and when I messaged them by email, they immediately responded and sent someone out the next morning. There are two extra couches if needed for sleeping, plus the couch in the living room pulls out. The view can be seen from all three levels, which is very sweet! I would say the only downside was the close neighbors had a barking dog, but that's not the fault of the cabin itself. There are cabins close on both sides, so it's not as private as some might like. It's about 20 minutes to a Kroger's and about the same to activities in Pigeon Forge, and a bit farther for Gatlinburg. There are some hilly roads, but it was nice weather when we were there, so I'm not sure about the upkeep on the roads if it snows. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

This cabin is very large and accommodated my family beautifully, five adults and four small children. We were disappointed with the kitchen -- it was poorly appointed. It could use some mixing bowls, large salad bowl, iced tea pitcher, baking dishes/pans. The hot tub was good the first day, by the second day it had a terrible sour smell so we stayed away. The swimming pool was clean but very cold water, and it was a very cold weekend so we didn't use it either. The theatre was fabulous for great football watching. The furnishings were nice, but the master bedroom mattress felt like it was stuffed with corn husks, no exaggeration. The fireplace is electric, a disappointment. We enjoyed our family time in a place that was not near all the traffic and shops. No need to leave to find something to do. If you have small children who need naps, be aware that this is a cabin with wood floors and very little soundproofing. This place looks great in its photos, and I am not a negative person, just being honest. Overall, a bit disappointed.

The information provided for the property depicted exactly what we received. Everything was well kept, comfortable and quiet. Although this house is secluded, it was not to far away from everything we needed including groceries and entertainment. When we arrived, we had intentions on grilling supper, but found the propane to be empty. A call was placed to the service number provided and with-in 20 minutes propane was delivered and we were grilling away. Excellent service!!! If you like what is advertised then you will appreciate what you get.

Wow! Our son surprised us by treating us to a lovely Labor Day getaway in one of your amazing properties. When the cabin came into view, we were blown away by how gorgeous it is! And the inside? There simply are not enough adjectives to do it justice. We were comfortable from the minute we crossed the threshold. So warm & welcoming! Being able to enjoy the cabin, and the pool, and the hot tub, and the home theater, whenever we wanted, was indescribable! No waiting our turn, no crowds, no concerns about time limits, etc... We had a splendid time, and hope to be able to return again someday. Thank you very much!!! My only suggestion? Railings on the stairs. My husband uses a cane, and we all would have preferred the stability of a railing during the many trips up and down the stairs as we availed ourselves of all the wonderful amenities.
