This was a great condo. We all agreed that our stay was the best and we would without a doubt rent this condo again. We had zero issues and we loved waking up and heading to the screened in lanai to drink our coffee. The view of the beach and grounds were great. There really are many superlatives to this condo and Pointe Santo. Well furnished with everything.

My wife and I and another couple just spent a fabulous week at Point Santo, Sanibel, FL. We have been to many beach resorts, inclusive of Hawaii and several places in the Caribbean.....this rates right up there with the best of them. Our unit was comfortable, spacious, and extremely well appointed.. We especially like the way the owners have decorated....mostly light colors with a nice airy feel throughout. Our Gulf view unit was only a 3 minute walk to the water's edge. The grounds of the resort were beautiful and the pool on site was very inviting. All in all....a wonderful place to vacation....we plan to return.

My family and I (6 total) stayed Saturday to Saturday in this condo on Sanibel. We were very happy with the unit, accommodations, location and details. They really provide just about everything you need. There is a full kitchen with all the appliances. There is also a lot of cabinet/pantry storage in the kitchen. The unit is well equipped with beach towels, toys, nets, boogie boards (our addition), beach chairs and umbrellas. It saved us a lot of room packing knowing all that would be there. The unit has a great layout with plenty of space and nice views. The complex itself is great too. The clubhouse by the pool has kids activities and ice cream available. There are also two adult swim times during the day if you're looking for a more peaceful time at the pool. During that time we would take the kids to the beach or go out and do activities. The beach is just steps from the pool so it's very convenient as well. The location on the island is really good too. Nothing seemed very far. It's very close to Ding Darling Wildlife Preserve, Tarpon Bay and tons of restaurants. Our longest trip was probably to dinner on Captiva, which was about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this unit and expect that we will return in the future.

We had the best spring break at Point Santo D24! The condo was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach cart and beach accessories in the condo. The condo was well maintained, the pool was nice and warm, and the grounds were all very clean. We spent so much time at the beach, pool, and riding bikes. We ate most of our meals in the lovely lanai and were happy to have access to grills. We would love to visit again!

We hosted our teenage grandchildren to Sanibel, joined by a friend of my wife and her eight year old son. Convenient location as it abutts Tarpon Beach, and is less than two miles to numerous restaurants, a good grocery store, and the main east-west route off Sanibel to the east, and onto Captiva to the west. Tarpon beach did not impress (comparisons to Siesta Key generally don’t), as I learned that this time of year the beach is quite often littered with much debris from the gulf. Bowman’s Beach, a few miles west toward Captiva, was much, much nicer. Interstingly, an overnight storm completely cleared Tarpon Beach such that everyone spent more time there as the week progressed. Everyone loved the heated pool at the resort, all three kids enjoyed playing volleyball and corn hole on the beach (both provided by the resort), and we also had fun playing shuffleboard by the tennis courts. The resort office has tennis rackets and balls and the two courts were regularly in use by a variety of those in residence. The grills around the pond in the middle of the resort we’re a welcome addition, as we enjoyed their use the one night we took a break from the restaurant scene. The kitchen was well equipped for any in room food preparation you might consider. I wish we’d rented bikes as we would have ridden much, as everything is at least a mile away. There are bike racks at the resort to keep them there, and the bike rental place will pick them up when you’re done with them. Lot’s of places to ride, as it seems as if the island was meant to be enjoyed on bikes.

What a great place! The condo was perfect for our family ( kids 11,9 and 2) and had everything and more than you could want. The beach, the island - every thing was fantastic for our family. Only problem was that we didn't do all the sightseeing that we had planned, like visiting the Everglades, because we simpely did nok want to leave the place. So we must come back again, and soon hopefully.

We liked the condo very much and would rent this unit again. The location was excellent, beach view, on the second floor. Easy walk up or the elevator is right outside the door. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals. Pots and pans, utensils, etc. (Loved the super quiet Bosch DW). Enjoyed having cable TV and Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels in the kitchen and bathrooms. And plenty of beach towels. We made good use of the coolers to take picnics to other beaches. We used the noodles provided to float in the Gulf and relax. We used the net scoop tools for shelling. They provided everything we needed. Chairs: the condo complex is beautifully situated with a very wide beach and they have a row of chairs in the shade at the edge of the beach. We had use of a chair every time we wanted one. In addition, there are folding beach chairs and an umbrella in the condo if you want to carry them to the beach. We feel the location was perfect, just a few minutes west of the causeway, near Tarpoon Road, where there are lots of restaurants and stores. We liked the wide beach and it was not too busy, but all the conveniences are nearby. It was odd, several afternoons, storm clouds would boil up from Ft Myers and push out towards the lighthouse on east Sanibel, but most days the storms stayed east of the condo. The lesson is stay at Pointe Santo and not east towards the lighthouse! Yes we would come again and would choose this unit again. Thanks so much for sharing!

Pointe Santo is a great place to decompress and relax. Upon arrival, we used our code to get in to the unit for a seamless check-in. We found the condo to be extremely clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. From morning coffee on the screened-in, Gulf-view lanai to the close proximity of the pool and beach, Pointe Santo has it all. The island has all we needed in the form of restaurants, shops and activities without being overly "touristy." We will most definitely be back.

We have just returned from a week on Sanibel - our 4th visit to the island as we love it so much. First time at Pointe Santo and we were happy with the accommodation. D24 compared well to the other two condo complexes we have stayed at on Sanibel (although we felt the bathrooms needed a little updating) and the landscaping around the pond/lake provides a beautiful outlook for every apartment from a very spacious balcony. The only negative was the disappointing pool area. Whilst my husband and I love the sea - the children also like some pool time and at Pointe Santo the pool was far too small for the size of the complex. Booking and access to the property was extremely smooth. Many thanks. .

I would get a modern coffee maker, like a Keurig . I would put in high-def TV's. I would store all the beach equipment in the storage locker. The water faucet, in the small bathroom, barely flows. Otherwise everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. Bob Clark

The dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes. The garbage disposal backed up on day one. Both issues were promptly taken care of, but I wonder why the dishwasher was not replaced sooner. Unit does not seem to be monitored. Kitchen knives are dull beyond functional. Probably due to the only cutting board being very hard plastic. Condo has a over abundance of pans, but none big enough to boil spaghetti. Loved the decor, the amenities. But found as nice a unit and for less cost for next year.
