This hidden getaway on the banks of the Salmon River has it all. The location is fantastic. Sitting just one mile south of Mt. Hood Village on Highway 26 it is close to restaurants and shopping. At the home though, you wouldn't know it. Surrounded by the enormous pines and lush ferns it feels as though you have been transported deep into the mountains. Whether on the deck, in the hot tub, or around the fire-pit, the sounds of the river make for a perfect setting that you will just have to experience for yourself.

Ascending up about ten steps from outside the rest of the home and deck enjoys a singe level. The entire property has been renovated both inside and out. All new décor and furnishing has been procured to create the perfect blend of style and comfort while enjoy your stay. The eat-in kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your culinary creations.

From the living room enjoy streaming and games while relaxing on the plush furnishing. You can't help but to notice the natural light that flows in. From the windows you can see more the lush landscape and the river beyond. The primary bedroom with en-suite bath sits on one side of the house as the other two bedrooms sit opposite. One is a standard bedroom with a queen bed and the other is bunk room with two twin over full bunks allowing for maximum sleeping flexibility.

The manicured landscaping and paths create a wonderful area outside to enjoy. Most that stay, don't even want to leave the home. However if you do, there are countless trails and other adventures to be had. The Three Nines Golf Course is just on the other side of the bridge. Government Camp is barely 13 miles up the road as well. The River Trail Retreat is without a doubt a fantastic place to base your adventures out of as you explore all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1  Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
2  All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. 
3  No glitter or confetti is to be used or dispersed on the property. Failure to comply will result in extra cleaning fees of at least $300.00 at a minimum.
4  The maximum number of occupants shall not exceed the advertised number stated on the listing.
5  Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
6  If Pets are allowed on Property a $100 per pet fee is required. Let us know if you will be bringing pets so we can send a $100 request per pet. Please pick up after your pets. If feces are left behind an extra charge of $50 applied clean up. If it is marked as "No pets" this policy must be observed and pets are not allowed on premises.
7  Smoking is not allowed in the unit. $500 fine if evidence of smoking is found in the unit.
8  Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
9  Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state the rental vacation rental property resides in, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of the state or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits.
10  There shall be no noise that can be heard outside the home between the hours of 10pm - 7am. If noise is an issue, you will get a written warning text message to the number that booked the reservation and/or a phone call. If noise does not stop, you will be fined up to $300 or possibly evicted immediately.
11  Any items left that a guest leaves and wishes to be returned and shipped will incur a $30 fee plus shipping. 
12. Commercial use of the property, including filming, is prohibited unless approved with a signed location release form. Any unauthorized filming for commercial use will result in immediate eviction and possible legal action.

SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES
Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the listings advertised guests, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

Violations of our noise rules or maximum number of guests agreed to at the time of booking will result in possible fines or immediate eviction with all loss of all rents.  Depending on severity if there is a noise situation we may call and issue a warning or proceed with a $300 fine. If we cannot reach the guest that booked the property someone will show up to at a minimum issue a $300 fine and/or evict the entire group immediately. Any delay will result in us involving the authorities and trespassing every person on the property as well as the loss of all rents. Additional fines or damages may be assessed after removal. 

HOLD HARMLESS
iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
 
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The undersigned Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.

The location of the home is perfect! Close to everything. A lot of time was spent outside either in the hot tub or by the propane fire. House was very clean and fully furnished with everything and more. I liked that the master bedroom / bath was on the opposite side of the house than the other two bedrooms.

The layout and decor of this cabin was just as lovely as the beautiful backdrop of the river. It felt private while being close to plenty of restaurants and outdoor excursions. I was really impressed with the communication iTrip provides! In fact I have all but given up on rentals because the hotels are so much easier and convenient and I've had so many experiences where things go wrong and there is no communication or very late communication. Also, the check out wasn't extensive, they only asked for trash. I'm so used to getting charged huge cleaning fees while also being required to do the cleaning. Speaking of clean, this place was very clean, smelled wonderful and had plenty of room for our large group. I would definitely go back to this rental and look at other iTrip manages.

We had a wonderful time at the house, it was exactly as the pictures showed and was clean, comfortable, spacious and just overall cute! The location was great for exploring the area, we even spent one day going to Astoria and Cannon Beach and the drive was not bad at all. I think we had as much fun staying at the property as we did exploring the area. The outside area next to the river was wonderful and relaxing. If we make it back to OR we would love to stay again! Thank you for having us!

River Trail Retreat is a perfect cabin in the woods for couples, families, friends. Its private setting along the river is relaxing any time of year yet it's close to markets, restaurants and recreation areas. All the extra amenities were welcoming and made us feel at "home" immediately. Highly Recommend a stay at River Trail Retreat.

We enjoyed the River Trail Retreat. It was a lovely location in the woods, peaceful and with a beautiful view of the Salmon River. The house was updated and had great features. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Riverside Retreat

This home has clearly been completely renovated with all new appliances, decor, furniture, etc. The layout is well thought out and tastefully decorated. The highlights were the hotub, river access, and the chairs set out with the firepit area. I appreciated the big, master bed and on-suite as well as the outdoor patio furniture on the deck. It was just my husband and myself, but this house could host at least another couple and plenty of kids. Although the listing is labeled as "well-stocked kitchen", you may want to bring some cooking staples such as butter, olive oil, tin foil, saran wrap. We did make great use of the grill, which also seems brand new. I could see this being a great place to stay while Skiing in the area in the winter. Plenty of space outside on both decks for skiis, gear, etc. Would also love to try the woodburning stove (stocked with wood) when we come back! Far enough away to feel like a private getaway, but close enough to run into town and grab a burger and beer if you need to!

Perfect River Setting

The house is adorable and very well decorated! It sits on a beautiful river front lot and we enjoyed looking out at the River view all day. We had a great time just hanging out at the house, playing games and hot tubing as well as going for a short 30 minute drive to do some wine tasting in Hood River. There were also some good walking trails close by that we explored. The house comfortably accommodated our family of 8 and 2 fury friends. We would definitely stay here again.
