Scandinavian Lodge is a tranquil Steamboat vacation rental location, nestled in the woods, mid-mountain at Steamboat Resort. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo overlooks Routt National Forest and is ideally situated a mere 100 yards away from Thunderhead lift. Skip the gondola line and enjoy the quickest access to the slopes, immediate access to hiking and biking trails, yet only a short shuttle ride or drive to après-ski entertainment and more at the base. 

The Scandinavian Lodge is family-oriented setting and boasts a heated outdoor pool (kept at 90 degrees) with indoor entry, 8-person hot tub, sauna, community BBQ grill, indoor ski lockers and relaxing evenings in the woods.

Scandinavian Lodge 302 is a corner unit located on the top-floor. This family-oriented residence boasts quieter evenings, 2 private balconies, and a flood of natural light, complimenting the spacious interior. 

The open living area features a beautifully updated kitchen including stone counters, stainless steel appliances and stunning wood cabinetry. It is fully equipped with everything you would need for staying in and cooking a meal. A gorgeous dining table offers seating for 6.

Kick back and relax on the sofa or large chair and watch the flat screen TV or warm up by the toasty gas fireplace. Access the balcony overlooking National Forest and enjoy your beverage of choice in the serene surroundings.

The sofa pulls out to a queen sleeper.

The Master suite includes a king bed, flat screen TV, full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and lots of storage.

The second bedroom offers to two twin beds (that can be pushed together to make a king upon request), a TV, lots of storage and access to another balcony overlooking the forest.

There is another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo in the hallway.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scandinavian Lodge 302. It was very clean, in excellent shape and well equipped (especially in the kitchen). About a 100 yard walk to the base of the Thunderhead lift, which was very convenient. Any questions for the property management folks (which there were only a couple) were responded to quickly. This unit is an outstanding value.

Great location and set up. Quick walk to Thunderhead lift. Did not have to deal with the Gondola lines. There were 4 of us, so the queen, 2 twins and pull out were perfect. Plenty of space

The Scandinavian Lodge was fantastic! You can’t beat the location to the mountain, the condo was well stocked with kitchen supplies, extra bedding, etc. The heated pool and hot tub were great after a long day of skiing and the shuttle service to the mountain and town made getting around with our group a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful location up in the mountains! Plenty of room for our family of 4. Everything we needed was there. Only downside was, we stayed in august and it was very hot outside in the evenings and the window unit was only able to keep the living room cool. The bedrooms were very warm despite having the windows open. Other than that we loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Everything from Itrip was just as advertised. Janets communication with check in/ early checkin, shuttle service and suggestions was excellent. The Condo was very well kept and looked better than the pictures. The location was perfect and as advertised. The hot tub and heated pool facilities were easily accessed and well maintained. This was our first trip to Steamboat and it was a spectacular vacation! Itrip's accommodations, assistance and guidance made it that much better. i would highly recommend.

Perfect for a large family

I booked this particular condo to get away from the base. We have four kiddos between 10 and 16, and we did not want to manage them in the crowds. This place was perfect, easy access to the mountain without dealing with crowds. I was concerned looking at the photos that it might have been a little too far from the Thunderhead lift but none of our kids (who generally complain about everything) complained about the distance. It was a short walk, as soon as you think "I hope the lift is near" you see the lift. There's a little traffic on the road from other people staying in the Thunderhead area, and some shuttles drive up and drop people off at the lift. But overall there were very few vehicles on the road to Thunderhead. It was fairly cold when we were there, well below freezing at night and warming up to the twenties later in the day. The pool was still warm enough that it felt good to get into and the hot tub is large and nice. Only bummer about the hot tub was that the snow was a little too far away to put my drink in :) Everyone on this mountain was extremely friendly. We've skied all over North America but Steamboat felt genuinely different. We talked with countless people on the lifts and in the hot tub. The mountain was refreshingly welcoming. We walked to/from Thunderhead (you can leave your skis by the lift if you come in for lunch) each day. There may be a way to ski down to the base so you don't have to walk at all. We saw one person start to ski away from a path by the pool area. With our kids, we didn't want to risk getting lost in someone's backyard so we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the "ski out" potential. We really didn't need it anyway. The unit itself was fairly large and well laid out. The six of us fit with plenty of space to spare. The ski locker was convenient, right down the hallway. Each morning I would get the skis from the locker, put them at the top of the flight of stairs that leads to the road and the kids would take them from there. Overall, a great place to avoid crowds if that's what you're looking to do!

It is a great unit and was very comfortable for our family. The unit is in great condition and super convenient (a short walk) to the Thunderhead lift or an easy downhill trail ski to a close run. Really like the location and general seclusion that it offers. The pool and hot tub was particularly great to have as an amenity. I lost the passcode to the pool and called after hours and was immediately provided with the info. Great service!

We enjoyed our stay at Scandinavian Lodge. The condo was very clean and well maintained in general. We discovered the dishwasher was leaking (after blaming the kids for spilling water on the kitchen floor! ouch.) I am sure they will get that fixed. The hot summer made it a little uncomfortable in the late afternoon early evening since there is no air conditioning. But, the fans provided and ceiling fans made it better each evening. The unit is in a great location as it is close to the Steamboat base and nearby grocery and shopping opportunities. The pool is very nice and the kids loved it! We would stay here again in the autumn and winter for sure.
