You will love this condo! Two bedroom, one bathroom in a historic building built in 1908. It's unique features include hardwood floors, a clawfoot bathtub and lots of natural light. The building is safe and quiet and is enjoyed by neighbors of all ages and professions. This is the perfect launchpad for all the amenities downtown Denver has to offer.

Capitol Hill is one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods in Denver. There are numerous restaurants, clubs, bars, stores, concert venues, and other cultural amenities in this community. Less than a 5 minute walk from the Denver Art Museum. Capitol Hill is next to two major Denver parks, Civic Center Park and Cheesman Park. Both of these are meeting centers for the community – hosting many festivals, including the Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods-sponsored People’s Fair in June.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! You really do not need a car here. Capitol Hill is the most walkable neighborhood in Denver. The neighborhood has good public transportation and is a biker’s paradise. Walk score: 94, Transit score: 66, Bike score: 97.

While the condo has two bikes available for guests to use, we know that not everyone is the same size. Renting a bike from Denver B-cycle is super easy - there are three stations located a half mile or less away. Simply ride the bike when you need it, and check it back into any B-cycle station when you don't.

We are proud to host vacationers as well as business travelers looking for an alternative to a traditional hotel. This home is professionally cleaned before/after each guest's stay.

Maximum occupancy: 4 - children must be counted in the max. occupancy unless they are under two (2) & are sleeping in a portable crib (not provided).

Tenant stated on Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years-old and acknowledges that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.

No smoking in the home. / No pets. / No parties or events without prior written approval.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We follow a strict cancellation policy on all websites.

If you must cancel your reservation, please be aware that cancellations must occur at least 30 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to arrival date all monies will be refunded with the exception of a $100 administrative fee. GUESTS THAT DO NOT CANCEL WITHIN THE 30-DAY TIME FRAME WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT. Travel Insurance is recommended, especially when traveling in the winter in CO.

Great spot in historic building, walkable neighborhood

We had a great stay at Capital Hill and enjoyed the charm of the condo and building. The host was very accommodating to our needs and answering questions. We were able to walk and bike to neighborhoods across the city.

Positives: The location was good. The place is old, but that's ok. Old can be fine as we live in a 101-year-old home ourselves. Code lock worked well on gate and door--no issues. The kitchen was fine. We go inside and my wife uses the bathroom. She comes out and says "I think the handle on the toilet is about to fall off." So I go in and sure enough, it's very, very loose. I have remodeled homes before and am one of 'those' guys. Anyway, I realize the handle is for a right-handed toilet---this is a left-hand-sided toilet. I tightened and let the owner know. Putting our stuff away we realize the window sills are filthy. Like a good layer of dust. The window AC unit was running and it was ok as far as temp. It appears to be an undersized unit for the square footage as it was turned way down, but was still kinda warm. The "clean filter" light was on. So I thought, maybe that's why its not working well. So I go to open the cover and realize the packing tape was still keeping the door closed. I removed that and opened it up to find a filter that was packed with 1/4 inch of gunk. Cleaned it and the AC worked much better after. But obviously, this hadn't been cleaned since install. Basically, the bathroom needs to be updated. The cold water side of the bathroom faucet barely puts out any water so rinse fast or it gets too hot. The claw foot tub, while cool in the pictures, is outdated. It wasn't a problem for us to get in and out of, but for anyone with balance, flexibility or leg issues, it's not gonna happen. The shower curtain that's attached to the ceiling is about to come out of its mounts. The floor area under the front part of the tub is sinking so the tub is unlevel and someone had put a shim underneath one leg to help but it was still wobbling. You can tell that the subfloor is bad underneath in areas-it's just been covered up by new flooring. A day after arrival, I realized that the toilet was loose from the floor--really loose--and noticed a bit of water coming from underneath the toilet itself. Having installed toilets before, I know this is not good. I notified the owner. The response was 'Thanks for the note". So I guess we put up with dirty toilet water on the bathroom floor for a few days?? When we took the sheets off the bed as instructed, there was a large urine stain on the mattress cover. The linens certainly weren't fresh when we arrived. This place needs work and cleaning We won't be staying here again. The manager replied on another sight to this review and tried to downplay these issues. I have screenshots of texts and pictures and video of the issues. I'm not trying to knock the place here--this is an honest review of what happened. These are all issues that could be remedied. If they were, we'd consider staying there again. But if they aren't. then we wouldn't. Its that's simple.

Pros: great Location, we walked to the Denver Art museum & History CO center. Also--Historical building and the Condo is close to my son's apartment in Denver. 2 bedroom is nice. Cons: No cold water in the bathroom & very difficult to climb into tub for the shower... Area was very noisy at night--Motorcycles racing & someone talking loudly in the courtyard, or street at 2:00am. Thank you.

The location is great but the place needs a lot of upgrade without the upgrade I don't know if I would rent this place again.

As I stated to you on another site. You never mentioned specifics. What's needs upgrading? The kitchen has just been redone. The floors are original from 1908 and are in perfect condition. The claw foot tub is original and is not going anywhere. There is a new air conditioner. You leave a poor review and do not get into any details. Was the home clean? Did you have the correct amenities? Was the area exciting to be in? Your review is poor form. Please book somewhere else.

The apartment was wonderful. Lots of great amenities. The location was great for walking to great eateries , museums and coffee shops. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels were fluffy. I would recommend this apartment!!

Very cute and clean condo in a fantastic neighborhood. Lots of great bars, restaurants and the Denver Art Museum within walking distance. Lottie checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
