The living area has Cathedral ceilings, extremely comfortable sofa seating, and a flat-screen HDTV. The newly remodeled kitchen sports stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops open to the living room with a breakfast bar with 2 bar stools. There is dining for 4 in the spacious dining area.

The Beautiful large north-facing patio overlooks a green belt and is great for entertaining while cooking something up on the gas grill or just sipping wine and watching the sunset, or counting the millions of stars in the clear desert sky.

Off the front entrance and laundry area is the Guest bedroom with 2 full beds, a TV, and En suite bath with a walk-in shower and double vanity. In the Main Suite, the very comfortable King bed is a great place to end your day of fun. Lots of closet space and a TV. The beautifully remodeled En suite bath has dual sinks and a large walk-in shower to wash away the stresses of shopping, golfing, hiking, or sunning. Inside, there's a full-sized washer and dryer. For parking just pull into the garage or driveway.

There are many community pools/spas; the closest is just a few condos West of the back patio. The access to the Clubhouse, Golf, Fitness, and Tennis is NOT included with rental of the property. Please call the Club House for the current rates: 760-568-9311.

Close enough to walk to the famous Palm Desert Street Fair. 2 miles away from world-class shopping and restaurants on El Paseo, the Rodeo Drive of the desert. 20 minutes from the Palm Springs Airport. GUEST booking the property must be 25 YEARS OLD, & must occupy the property during the entire term of the booking.   The main guest (MG) is responsible for behavior of all occupants.

Maximum OCCUPANCY is provided in the property listing. 2 people per bedroom.  

No excessive NOISE allowed beyond the property. City prohibits renters from using sound devices (radios, sound systems, etc.) & musical instruments outside the rental property between 10 p.m. & 10 a.m. Failure to comply will result in fines, & removal from property without refund.

1 CAR is allowed per bedroom. Guests must use garage & driveway parking. No street parking, no boats, jet skis, trailers or RVs.
 
If a property is not PET friendly, we may allow a pet under certain circumstances. Please inquire. For pet friendly properties please disclose if bringing a pet at the time of reservation inquiry. A non refundable fee of $250 is required. Pets allows only if under 35 lbs and one pet. Unauthorized pets will result in fee of $500. 

SMOKING of any kind is prohibited at the property.  Smoke smell/odor found post departure authorizes manager to remediate the smoke smell, & the main guest will incur a fee of $2.10 per sq. ft. times the property square footage per title records.

BBQ only be used if provided by the Owner & do not relocate BBQ. Open flame is prohibited, I.E candle burning, charcoal BBQ’s. Do not dismantle smoke & carbon monoxide detectors. 

All guests & responsible occupant acknowledge use of the pool/spa amenities increase the risk of injury &/or death. POOL AND SPA use is at your own risk. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Use of Pool, Spa and Pool Area amenities can cause serious injury, including death. The occupants accept this risk when booking the property.

POOL HEATING may be added to your booking. Daily pool heating fee is based on current rates of Natural Gas and size of the pool. Please inquire with the booking agent for a quote. 

The manager will request a copy of the main guest ID prior to check in.  Main guest may be required to sign additional agreements. No refunds for early depatures. 

UNINTENTIONAL DAMAGE must be reported to the manager prior to departure. Accidental property damage is covered up to $1,500 by LDW Fee in your booking fee. Accidental damage not reported during the stay will be treated as intentional damage & the cost will be charged to the Main Guest reservation.

If  property is no longer able to honor this reservation due to unforeseen circumstances & out of Manager’s or Owner’s control, Manager will issue a full refund immediately to the Responsible Occupant.

Reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of deposit, damage deposit, &/or balance of rental payment. If any occupant violates any terms of this agreement, PDVP may terminate this Agreement. PDVP will notify the Responsible Occupant of agreement termination, & the Responsible Occupant will vacate the promise within 3 hours.

Building Codes that are applicable for residential homes are not required for handicap accessibility. This home is not ADA compliant. Manager is not aware of any toxic fungus/mold or other mold which may exceed allowable levels.

Neither does the owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.

One CAR is allowed per bedroom. Assigned parking spaces may apply for properties located within an HOA. Guests must use garage parking and driveway parking first. No street parking is allowed.

POOL HEATING is not included in the rental rate for 27 day or longer stays from October trough April. Pool heating may be added to your booking at the rate of $35 per day.

Guest Bookings 27 days or longer require a Security Deposit of $2,500.

While we love Monterey CC+ the location and layout of this unit, we have decided to look elsewhere for our next trip to PD. Sadly the bed linens/comforters have seen better days. Guest bed frames are too low; bedding drags on the ground. While the sofa looks okay, it’s old and terribly uncomfortable. Lamps in MB are ancient, and lighting in LR/DR is poor at best. We even bought a lamp for the unit on one of out visits, and left there. The patio set was old and worn from our 1st visit. The chairs were broken last visit and on this 2024 visit we finally got 5 new chairs for the last two weeks of our stay. The caulking around the base of the MB shower deteriorates more ea visit. The garage is totally neglected, as is the entire entry corridor. With each visit we hoped perhaps for some changes. With some inexpensive care + TLC this unit would be well worth the the price, which continues to increase, however, without any improvements. This review is not for public viewing; just meant for the Owner and Property Management viewing. We have always been pleased with the Property Management. Thank You. Paul and Barbara

Perfect stay

This was a perfect stay for us. We have stayed at other VRBO properties in other states and this is one of the best we have stayed. It was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed (and then some). In particular, we really appreciated the cleanliness of kitchen dinnerware, etc. at this condo as we have found others to be lacking in this area and had to do extra cleaning just to be able to use the kitchen goods. We also enjoyed the security and setting of this property as it was very quiet and neighbors were friendly. The instructions, with associated photos, were easy to understand and extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning to this condo!

We enjoyed staying for a few weeks in this lovely updated and very clean condo. The location was perfect, quiet, and private. The furniture was extremely comfortable. The two bedrooms were private and each had nice bathrooms with walk-in showers and double sinks. The kitchen was complete and spacious. We enjoyed watching the water fowl on the pond as well as the golfers entertaining us with their abilities.

Monterey CC unit

We stayed at a condo in Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert California while visiting relatives. Monterey CC is one of the more established communities in a wonderful location that provides easy access to anywhere in the valley. While the units are older, the one we rented was renovated and absolutely beautiful. It was clean and had the basic amenities we needed to start our week. The gate folks were very friendly. We felt very safe the entire time we were there. The only issue we had were the TV remotes needed batteries but we could handle that easily enough. We would definitely use this company again and rent this unit again when we visit again.

The condo was nicely upgraded and was very comfortable. It was stocked with everything that we needed for an extended stay. Even if it wasn't as nice as it was, the view toward the fairway and pond area are to die for. Just beautiful!! We would stay at this property again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the great time!

Lovely updated and attractive condo in the Monterey golf club. Sufficient kitchen amenities included for those wanting to cook in a few times during your stay. Would of liked to have the king bed in the master bedroom updated as well as it was showing its age due to sagging on sides. The second bedroom had two double beds which are fine if you have children or one adult but did not accommodate well for another couple.

Loved Our Stay

We had a great couple of weeks at 232 Castellana S. First of all, the Monterey Country Club is conveniently located -- not far from El Paseo shopping or Palm Springs, with lots of good restaurants nearby. The unit has been nicely updated and has a beautiful view of the golf course. We felt at home there. A couple of suggestion s: 1. Propane tank valve was stuck and would not open. It would have been lovely to use the fire pit. 2. The stove overhead light is burned out. 3. One pathway light is burned out. 4. It might be a good idea to have more non-plastic dinnerware, if possible. 5. The bed pillows could stand some updating, too. Otherwise, it was well stocked. We would definitely come back whenever we can.

This home was so clean & comfortable, it made vacations so easy. The management staff was incredible- and readily available. The location is less than a 5 min drive to El Paseo, so convenient!!! We plan to be back for sure!!!!!! (We hope the seating & lounge chairs will be back at the pools - covid precautions I presume)

Clean and Bright home

This home was exactly how it was shown in the pictures on the site. The beds where comfortable and had great reading lights if you like to read in bed. It was so relaxing sitting on the back patio and hearing the water fountain. The townhome is located on a very quiet street with no golfers in the back. Very close to the pool and there was a noodle and raft for the water. Lots of towels, and towels for the pool. Would stay there on my next visit to the Desert.

We were delighted with this condo from the moment we walked in. The decor is modern, clean and comfortable. Bed was great, towels nice and fluffy and the kitchen well stocked. Only thing missing was a pitcher and blender. We did have the wifi stop working but the issue was quickly addressed same day. Once fixed the wifi was spotty however the whole complex was being worked on. I would highly recommend this spot - great patio table and chairs. Right on the golf course, next to a pond with fountain and close to the pool. We relaxed every day on the patio and every night on the amazing couch. Super secure and safe. Being on the golf course there will be course maintenance going on but we knew that. Games, books, beach towels, pool floaties and a cozy throw blanket were nice touches.

The condo was lovely. We were very comfortable and it was just the right amount of square footage for us. The kitchen was beautiful and a great selection of appliances and other amenities. We loved the view and used the gas grill many times. The fire pit table could not be used because there was no gas in the tank. We would have loved to use during our cool desert nights. The second bedroom has great closet space, but a chest of drawers would have been nice; TV, too. We have several friends who live in MCC, so the location suited us beautifully. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your well appointed home.

Excellent unit almost brand new

We enjoyed our stay in this renovated unit which suited us down to the ground! Only a couple of recommendations:improve the tv instructions( we struggled with this for some time), the patio was severely neglected( dead bushes and broken irrigation heads). Bruce who checked us in was most helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble. Would stay here again.
