We have stayed here at Romeo's Breeze for the last (I can't remember how many years) and we love it there. We travel with our doxie and now added another doxie to our household and they let us bring them both. The convenience of being able to walk pretty much wherever we needed to go and the dog park at Gulf State Park make our vacation amazing!

This place was great! The house itself was super clean and spacious. It included everything we needed to have a great vacation. My family of 4 enjoyed staying here. It's a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We hope to come back!

My wife and I actually lived on Balboa Island years ago. This return to the island was a little homecoming vacation for us, and the cottage was absolutely perfect for experiencing the special charm and character of the area. 'Brought back such great memories! I had the chance to meet Scott (who manages the property), and he could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommended!!

Right when we walked in the first thing we noticed was how nice the place smelled and how clean it was. Not a spec of dust or a crumb anywhere. This rental was great when traveling with teenagers that do not want to be in the same bed, the bunk beds gave a little more space. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing lacking from our stay was adequate hot water that lasted longer than 5 minutes. Luke warm to cold temps. Shower head no pressure and the transition tub / shower lever needs repaired. Nothing sucks more than having a long day and wanting to take a hot shower for it to be cold. Other than that area and unit was perfect.
