Welcome to TheGinkgoGuestHouse, located in the iconic Alberta Arts neighborhood within the northeast region of Portland. With five bedrooms and four full baths on three floors, this home is a perfectly located vacation rental ready to house your family vacation or work retreat. Just as our home has all the amenities you’ll need on hand, the neighborhood also has an immense amount to offer.

This house is a side by side townhouse- style duplex. You are renting the whole side with five bedrooms, four baths, and two kitchens over three interconnected floors allowing for quite a bit of flexibility of group makeup and privacy. With an easy street level entrance ascending to the expansive porch, inside there are two complete but connected open concept living spaces with multiple stocked kitchens, four TV's, including eight total beds. Please reach out with your groups makeup so we can make sure this is the right fit and there is the necessary room for everyone.

The front porch is perched above the street is perfect for enjoying a quiet moment to yourself or having a drink and conversation with friends and relatives. The private backyard and deck are great for seasonal BBQ’ing, meals, relaxation, and even fruit-picking.


Here’s the breakdown from the top floor to bottom:

★ Upper-level Master en-suite: King-sized bed, TV, and a private, en-suite bathroom with a shower. Cribs are available, upon request.

★ Upper-level Twin Room: 2 twin beds (+ possible comfortable mattress on the floor) This bedroom has easy access to the upper-level hall bathroom with shower and bathtub. On a special occasion, we can lay a mattress on the floor in this upstairs twin bedroom. It’s large enough for a short trip with friends, cousins, and more.

★ Main-level King Bedroom: King-sized bed and access to a main-level bath next door. This is the only bedroom on this main floor (which is also the living room/kitchen/bathroom level)

★ Street-level King Bedroom: King-sized bed, TV, and access to the lower-level hallway bathroom. A crib is available, upon request.

★ Street-level Twin Room: 2 twin beds (+ 1 trundle when needed), shares a bathroom with the lower-level king bedroom.

★ Your cars are welcome. And there is free and easy street parking on our block.

The location of this home is really the best of both worlds. It sits a few blocks off of Alberta so if you don't want to be around the throngs of people you are just far enough away for some quiet comfort if you choose. A quick five minute walk to the south will take you right to Alberta St near the Alberta Rose Theater and all of the other incredible restaurants, bars, and sites in the area. There are also groceries, a pharmacy, liquor store, and countless other options less than a mile away. The Ginkgo GuestHouse is an allergy- and eco-friendly home.

Please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house, however there is a ring doorbell on the front door facing the street.
