Fantastic Common Amenity backyard with paved BBQ grill area and separate patio table and lounge chairs around the pool to share with family and friends ... over-looking the Palm Beach Inlet to the Ocean. Relax and take pleasure in the sunsets, sunrises, and yachts that pass through the waterway. Notice the frequent Carnival Cruise ship that also ports just down this famous inlet waterway if you wish to take a quick gambling trip to the Bahamas. It is a great location for exploring or simply relaxing in the sunshine. Roll Out Windows allow the Ocean Breeze into your unit, or let the A/C cool you after a day at the beach. Sea Turtle Season: Between March 1st and October 31st, sea turtles are the most active on PBC’s beaches where they come ashore to lay eggs. Palm Beach Shores Beaches are teaming with protected nests. If you are lucky, you might catch a turtle laying eggs, or a nest of hatchlings scurrying to the sea!

Walking Trail Through Palm Beach Shores:

The trail is about a mile long and passes by Town Hall, two marinas, and houses that will wow you. There are massive banyan trees along the trail as well as benches, pretty landscaping and vintage buildings, and restaurants reminiscent of the Old Florida days. At the Southernmost point of the trail you will see Palm Beach Island straight ahead, Peanut Island to the right, and the Florida mainland. If you look left (east) you will see blue waves crashing on the shore and sea birds flying overhead...that is the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Inlet.

Sailfish Marina:

Walk down Inlet Way west to the Western-most side of the island to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in PB County at the new Native Seminole Tribe Tiki and Marina - Thursday evenings, enjoy the Sunset Festival and enjoy grouper-dogs and some of our local artisans!

Southwind 1 - King Studio 150 Inlet Way
4/5 stars
We rented a studio at Southwind for the month of February. The unit was clean and mostly updated. It had the amenities we needed. The kitchen had basic utensils and cooking supplies and a nice little eating area. The private patio was a delight and overlooks a small garden area. It's a great set-up for a short term stay. If you plan to stay more than a couple weeks, know that you'll want to invest in your own cleaning supplies, including a broom, and cooking in the kitchen would be simple fair. That was the only drawback to staying for a month. Having a couple chairs & maybe a small desk in the bedroom would be a bonus - especially if you need to work remotely. The property is located on the inlet and watching the boat traffic while sitting by the pool was so nice. You can walk to the local Sailfish Marina & Restaurant, as well as the Ocean Walk park area where there are more restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend it and would come again!
