Good - great location you can walk to Front Street, restaurants, bars, shops and local beaches within 5 minutes. Very lush, tropical grounds well maintained with beautiful old growth trees. Appliances and furniture were rather dated but functional. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean. Not so good - entry way and living room rugs are filthy, the whole rug needs a professional deep cleaning, but those two areas were especially dirty. Pool closed for half the days we were there due to maintenance/chemical issues. The water was so murky you couldn't see through to the bottom. 2 of our party are health inspectors and advised against using the pool. Parking is pricey and not included in the cost of the room (found out it is managed by another entity outside of the booking company.) We arrived after 4 pm on Saturday (management gone for the weekend) parked and on Sunday morning there was a nasty note about only guests were allowed to park there and we were subject to being towed. No one available to provided parking pass until Monday 8 am.

This condo was perfect for our family. We had enough space for everyone, it was very comfortable, very clean, and the location was great. We were able to walk to town, or have an easy drive to nearby beaches. The pool area was wonderful- not too crowded but plenty of families enjoying the area. It was quiet at night, and our beds were really comfortable. The condo was well kept and had everything we needed. Overall excellent experience!

We loved everything about this condo! Anything you wished to be included was! It’s not missing anything! The location is perfection. Literally less then 1 block from front street. The condo was extremely clean and well decorated. The grounds were also kept beautifully and the 2 pools, perfection! The showers in the condos are gorgeous and spacious! Those alone make you feel like you are on a vacation! We will definitely be using this condo again!

The location is great. Front street is within walking distance. The condo is very clean and comfortable. The saltwater pool is amazing. They were a little bit of a pain with having your drink on the edge of the pool. No problems otherwise. I would recommend this place.

The condo was great. The only issue we had staying at this resort is that some of the BBQ's were broken and the other ones were always out of propane whenever we wanted to use them. The purpose of us booking at this resort was to be able to have access to the BBQ pits whenever. We would advise the front desk about these issues and they would respond to us by stating that they do not looked after our rooms. We were not very impressed by this.

We stayed for 4 nights at this property. The condo was clean and had the appropriate amenities. Positives included the convenient location (walking distance to Front Street) and size of rooms. Negatives included iron (had sticky residue which damaged our clothes) and dryer (which has sticky pink residue, which stained our clothes). Also it is a first floor condo and it is often dark in the condo. Opening the window shades did not provide much light.

The condo was perfect for four people. Six of us stayed there and we made it work with two teens on the pull out couch. It is nicely decorated, modern and clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The pools are very nice and easy to access. The management of this unit was very responsive to our improvement requests while we were there. The beach towels supplied were a nice touch. Our room (J110) was perfect for my 77 year old mom who has difficulty walking. There is a small step into the shower, but she was able to roll her walker into the spacious bathroom without any problem. As well, the on-site parking made it easy for her too. Accessible beaches were Polo beach, Kapaluna Beach and just the entrance of Big Beach (no bathroom there). The location of the resort is actually perfect for people who want to walk to nearby beaches and shopping. The weather in Lahaina seemed dryer and sunnier than many other places in Maui during our stay. The outdoor BBQ's were a nice extra feature. The hideaway couch's mattress could use a roll-out feather bed mattress on it as the springs seem dead. Bring basics with you like salt/pepper, sugar and tin foil if you plan to cook. Maui has a lot of older residents/visitors and our teens were a bit bored other than the surfing. Maui is a perfect destination if you are travelling with your older parents, however.

First of all the unit itself was well equipped and very nice with everything working as it should have been. Also great central location in Lahaina. What was disappointing was we were not told to expect such hostility from the resort staff (front desk, cleaning staff). We rented a mobility aid and it was to be delivered to the Aina Nalu resort on the morning of our arrival and the front desk refused delivery saying, "since you rented unit J-110 privately we are not olbliged to assist you in any way" and that set the tone of any interaction we had with the resort staff for the duration of our 10 day stay. At the very least we should have been told there exists a great deal of animosity between owners who rent there units privately and the resort itself.

We very much enjoyed staying in the condo. It was walking distance to everything in Lahaina and we were able to find street parking every night. We swam in the salt water pool every day and we could completely relax. It is a very kid friendly resort. We had everything in the kitchen we needed for cooking except we would have appreciated better tools for the community BBQ. Thanks for providing the beach towels and beach chairs too. We would love to stay there again. Overall, it was the perfect location for island paradise.

I had to follow up to get check in access tand directions.the day before our arrival It was never sent. The whole idea of this type of service is to get access sent to the customer . The fees we pay are high and I dont feel are warranted with this level of service

Hello, we absolutely loved our vacation at your resort. The resort was quiet and family friendly. The pool was clean and so was our room. The fact that there was a cooler and chairs and sand toys were a nice surprise. Also the location was so convenient to walk to everything. Aloha, We stayed in J110 for 4 nights and 5 days. The check in process was very convenient with the lock code provided, which made it quick and easy. The unit is located at the corner near the walkway from the parking, so it was convenient when having to transport things to and from our car to the unit. The unit was exactly how it was pictured in the photos online. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The air condition and fans in each room helped to keep the unit very cool in the warm Lahaina temperatures. There was no additional cleaning required by us before checkout since a cleaning fee is included in the charges, which is great! Check out online was very convenient as well. A few suggestions I have is possibly adding curtains to the windows and door that are facing the parking lot, to add a bit more privacy, as it is possible to see into the room at an angle even with the blinds closed. This comment is regarding 'Āina Nalu itself and not specifically about the unit, but the beans from the trees in the parking lot are a bit of a nuisance as it is sticky and gets stuck on the bottom of your shoes/slippers and you end up tracking it everywhere. During our stay it didn't appear that any grounds keeper was cleaning them up. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in your unit. Mahalo!

This unit looks just like it does in the pictures! It has everything you want for a condo for a home away from home. It has utensils, coffee makers, chairs, umbrellas, cooler and lots of towels, along with washer and dryer ( and soap) to wash your clothes. The salt water pool is divine and maintained every day so it is clean and always warm. Make sure you check out Mark at Aloha Concierge to book your activities. He does the orientation every morning at 8:30. Very knowledgable about Maui and everything you need to know about the island and what to do. Also the price is cheaper than most online booking places I checked out. (Do the Hyatt pacific of the drums luau). The Aina Nalu is close to everything! It's a block away from Front St which is where the tourists go. The foodland and food trucks are one to two blocks away. Even the church is the next street over. It is so close to the harbour so if you are doing the water activities or tours, you can walk there. It is also a 5-10 minute drive to Kaanapali beach. The only challenge with this place is the parking. They charge you $20 to charge every night, but they want you to pay in full. There is parking in the street if you get lucky enough to find an open one.

Our stay was wonderful! The location is perfect. Front Street is only a few blocks down and I strolled the town early every morning before the shops opened up for a peaceful walk. We were able to hit the all parts of the island during our stay. One negative was that there were no coffee filters so we bought some and left it for the next dozen or so guests. Also, check to see when the quarterly pesticide treatment is. It hit during our stay and they will force you to leave your place for an hour while treating your unit. The two pools are great. We loved the larger salt water pool.

I would definitely book here again. Restaurants and stores at Old Lahaina is walking distance from where it is and I was actually amazed that it doesn't take long to get there from the condo.

Great place. Very clean. Very helpful knowledgeable check-in staff. Two identical suites with King beds. Quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and flowers. Two short blocks from main area of Lahina. Nicely kept grounds. Everything worked and was in very good condition. Simple but refined decor with nice touches. No steps or stairs. Good mattress. Huge walk-in shower with good water pressure. Dining table for six. No problems or irritations. Moderately furnished kitchen with all essentials. 40 stores, shops, restaurants, etc within 12 miles on quiet streets. Overall as good as we have seen (for the money) during our extensive travels. We will return.
